Battle of Hogwarts

[edit]

I don't see any reference in the Battle of Hogwarts section that there is indeed an attack by Voldemort and an army underway! That hardly seems like an excess detail. None of the details that are described make any sense unless the reader knows that Voldemort and an army have attacked. May I request that you discuss this change with me please. Voldemort himself has not attacked Hogwarts yet; he is still awaiting Snape in the Shrieking Shack. Also, there have been edit wars about the fact that the plot being overly detailed and that it should be condensed somewhat to cover the basic progression of events, and to avoid a potential edit war, I thought it prudent to remove it early. Legend Talk 18:31, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK, well, there's still no statement that's there's a battle going on at all! While the plot discussion may be too detailed, that is really too important a development not to mention. I'm going to take at look at the current version of the article, and see where to insert a reference that there's an attack by Voldemort's forces going on. Also, what's needed is really commentary about the plot, but if the plot is complex (which it is), it's not going to be easy to condense and still make sense. Marty Goldberg and I are in two separate discussions at Talk:Branches_of_Wing_Chun. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.5.147.32 (talk) 07:25, 5 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
