Yes, it can take a little while, because the people handling that email address are busy volunteers. And there's no need to worry about the article, because I think there's enough in it to contest the Proposed Deletion and I have therefore removed the Deletion tag. However, I am juggling a dozen tickets at the moment, and I have never processed a confirmation request, so I need to fins out exactly what types of answers are viewed as acceptable.
