Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "Quotaintl", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you. EricEnfermero HOWDY! 05:43, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Quotaintl, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Alexf(talk) 14:22, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Per below, it appears that this is intended to be a shared account. Kinu t/c 16:28, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

That would be fine. However ...

Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 04:10, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that the current username seems like a conflict of interest; however, when creating the username the original editor did not realize that the username had to be different from the page she wanted to create. She thought that the username had to relate to the subject matter that she wished to discuss. Is there any way to be able to look at the material that was originally created, if only for a little while. We would like to see what was previously written so we can make an objective Wikipedia article for a non-profit organization that is of interest to us. Daniel Case (talk) Quotaintl (talk) 14:20, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your reference to the "original editor" (in the third person, implying someone other than yourself) and the use of "we"/"us" suggest that this account is for shared use, which is disallowed on Wikipedia. --Kinu t/c 16:28, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Knowing that you will have to edit alone and not about Quota Airport, do you still want to edit? What will you edit about? Origamite\(·_·\)(/·_·)/ 16:50, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This account is not intended to be shared. I am the only one working on creating this page and am following Wikipedia's five pillars. I am creating this page in an objective manner so others will be able to learn about a non-profit service organization.
