Central Government War Headquarters Reason for deletion of Box Tunnel reference: Box Tunnel did indeed contain a second portal but this was used by ammunition trains entering the Tunnel Quarry CAD. There was no direct entrance from Box Tunnel into the CGWH. Access to the site was via slope shafts and elevators located within the perimeter fence of JSU Corsham.

21stCenturyGreenstuff I appreciate your comments and thank you for the advice. I have made a different edit and included a citation. May I suggest that if you have a particular interest in Site 3 (the term Hawthorn is misleading) you acquire the edition of Subterranea that I cite. It's available in very limited quantities from the Subterranea Britannica web site and represents the latest research into the CGWHQ. It's almost as good as seeing the place with your own eyes - which I've been lucky enough to do.Ukuncut (talk) 22:41, 10 April 2011 (UTC)
