Thanks for your email but I prefer to keep the discussion on a talk page. For starters I'm not a "firearms bigot", in fact I own several firearms and am a happy shooter, so you can stop calling me that. Doing it twice is more than enough. As for the quotation in your mail I suggest you read this part of it again: "Sites that contain neutral and accurate material that is relevant to an encyclopedic understanding of the subject". And the subject of the article is the SKS rifle, nothing else, meaning that the link you repeatedly try to add is not relevant. If Wikipedia had been a gun forum aimed at gun enthusiasts in the United States it would have been relevant, but it isn't, instead Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia aimed at English speakers all over the world. In addition to that Wikipedia's rules regarding what it's not expressly state that it is not a place for instruction manuals, tutorials, advice (legal or other) etc. Meaning that it is not a place for the advice (advice that is legal advice since it's your interpretation of US rules and regulations) that you try to give through that link. So don't try to add it again.Thomas.W talk to me 19:09, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to SKS. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. This is an encyclopaedia and the article is about the SKS rifle, not about US rules and regulations. Meaning that the link is not relevant for the article. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to SKS. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The link you repeatedly try to add is a direct violation of WP:NOTMANUAL, being both a manual and a page with legal advice. Thomas.W talk to me 19:14, 24 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
