Your account has been blocked indefinitely because the chosen username is a clear violation of our username policy – it is obviously profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that you do not intend to contribute positively to the encyclopedia (see our blocking and username policies for more information).

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. 331dot (talk) 13:27, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This username makes it extremely difficult for others to communicate with you, both in length and with the random assortment of letters and numbers. Please choose an actual username. 331dot (talk) 13:30, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, not quite sure what you mean. "OvxzEkB7LEDOchm6tUzaMtqPOQVsYSYSPR9WGpC8IEReJ0Re6ZqJlZXC937VoqNRzrAqSuAWRvBo8w6kjmnTt" is an actual username. I had a lengthy and thorough read of WP:UN, and I do not see any clear proposition that flags my username as invalid by Wikipedia's standards. Your argument that this username is a 'clear violation' and 'obviously profane, threatening' or likewise, similarly does not pass muster. Sure, it falls under the category of WP:UNCONF, but WP:UN does not prescribe any immediate action on its own for cases of UNCONF, especially not permanent and indefinite blockage. Perhaps you could have requested a comment from me as to why my username is that way, rather than immediately blocking. My username does not inhibit any communications activity on the site, as my username itself appears as a clickable link and it is not required to type all characters of the username themselves. You were able to effectively communicate with me here, no?
Pro tip - try not to bite the newcomers. OvxzEkB7LEDOchm6tUzaMtqPOQVsYSYSPR9WGpC8IEReJ0Re6ZqJlZXC937VoqNRzrAqSuAWRvBo8w6kjmnTt (talk) 16:19, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Requested username:

Request reason:

WP:UNCONF does not provide adequate basis for blocking the username

Decline reason:

Declined. Username, combined with vandal edits, that's plenty reason. Drmies (talk) 16:23, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, what 'vandal' edits are you talking about? The only thing that I have done is make a short description for the article, "1995 German Formula Three Championship"

  • An excessively lengthy username disrupts discussion pages with the presence of your signature, which would take up much space. Not all editors have large screens. I stand by my block. 331dot (talk) 14:30, 8 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:WhichUserAmI per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/WhichUserAmI. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
