Hi! Thanks so much for this -- I'll dive in and start reading soon. I've done some anonymous edits over the years, but I'm not experienced with having a formal Wikipedia account. This will provide me with some great reading about the more advanced stuff that I'm not so familiar with. Much appreciated! OnwardOGH (talk) 16:16, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Let me add to the welcome! You may perhaps be interested in WP:WikiProject Aquarium Fishes. Please feel free to get in touch with me any time if you have any questions at all about editing on Wikipedia. --Tryptofish (talk) 23:15, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! I do plan on contributing to the aquarium fishes project, at least in some way. I've worked with aquariums for more than 20 years, and bred my first non-livebearer 15 years ago. I'd like to at least contribute some nice photos to some of the plant and shrimp pages that we don't currently have. Thanks again -- I'm really looking forward to getting going with all this! Travel Physical Therapists
[edit]Well, as the IP who removed your section on Travel Physical Therapists said, your addition is not a specialty, and contains commercial links, also known as spam. In my opinion it is also overlong. I suggest ditching the commercial links, and simply adding a sentence to the US salary information paragraph about the higher salaries enjoyed by Traveling Physical Therapists. Abductive (reasoning) 21:23, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
Oh! How did you find that? Thank you.
There aren't many online sources about travel PT, despite there being thousands of professionals working in the area. I had a tough time finding a strong source to show the duration of the assignment. Perhaps it's not necessary to cite it? I was worried about only linking to Onward Healthcare, as it's a property of Onward OGH, despite the validity of the infographic as a source. I have some articles I could use as well, but they're all print -- would that be frowned upon?
One final question -- if not a specialty area, then what? It does require a specific cross-section of professional, definitely. Additionally, I wasn't sure this constituted its own section, so I tried to tuck it in there. Should I just make it a stub article on its own?
Sorry to bombard you with questions.OnwardOGH (talk) 22:17, 18 September 2012 (UTC)
- A stub article will never be read. Rest assured, people will zero in on the higher salary info. I have plopped in that info for you. Abductive (reasoning) 02:03, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
I mean that's great, but the US Bureau has no information about Travel PT wages. So your citation doesn't help. OnwardOGH (talk) 13:12, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
