[edit]Hello, I'm Cahk. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ugandan kob have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 08:47, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Chale Island. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Wiiformii (talk) 20:20, 26 June 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop. If you continue to add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did at Carnivore (restaurant), you may be blocked from editing. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Carnivore (restaurant). Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines.
