Regarding article - Sridhar

[edit]

Hello Sir,

Please help me in creating this article for Cinematographer sridhar . I would delete any content that may not comply with Wiki policies and have Wiki page show only contents that are allowed as per the policies.

Thank you for your kind and polite assistance and I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I had to uninstall and reinstall my browser due to some technical difficulties which might have resulted in duplicate page creation. I didn't do it deliberately. I assumed that the page didn't save the changes.

But as far as the content is concerned. It is legit , and was added by me on IMDB on that page you had specified ( reason for deletion ) . You could see my signature on that page . Waiting you for your support..

Sincerely, The Keen Watcher

Hello KW. I can't imagine what reinstalling your browser has to do with any of this. The problem isn't just that the text is copyrighted (even if you're the author), it's also blatant marketing, and needs a complete re-write for a neutral, encyclopaedic tone. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 17:26, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sir,

Thank you for your advise again, Shall i edit the page with the data that does not exist on IMDB and in a way that does only show the details of the person in question which would appear professional as well as complying Wiki policy.

Sincerely, The keen Watcher --Thekeenwatcher (talk) 17:29, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'd recommend that you rewrite it as a draft article with the Wikipedia:Article wizard, and submit it for article review so that experienced editors can help you write a good article. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 17:32, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Sir,

I have created a subpage so that I don't do the same mistake again ending up editing the original live pages . Please find the page i have created Following the guidelines you gave me and let me know if there are any corrections.

Subpage link : http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Thekeenwatcher/Subpage_Sridhar

Thank you again for your constant support

Sincerely, The Keen Watcher --Thekeenwatcher (talk) 18:00, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

How is that different from any of the other articles you've created so far? NeemNarduni2 (talk) 18:05, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Yes Sir,
I have removed all the content I had already posted on IMDB related to his personal quotes and trademarks . I have also removed all the lines that would call upon his merits , achievements that would look like exaggerations so that it would appear normal.
Sincerely,
The Keen Watcher
--Thekeenwatcher (talk) 18:10, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sir,

I had created two pages today accidentally for Cinematographer sridhar .

http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Sridhar http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Sridhar_Cinematographer

These pages were deleted since I wrote the trademarks and personal quotes on the wiki page, which i had already posted on his IMDB profile.

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm7819649/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cr4

I checked several wiki pages so that i comply with the rules. Now that I have removed removed all the content I had already posted on IMDB related to his personal quotes and trademarks . I that would look like exaggerations so that it would appear normal as other wiki pages .

I would remove this line too if you would insist..

"He considered himself as a keen and passionate Photographer , Cinematographer and a Film Maker, always looking for opportunities and opening the doors to find them while he developed his skills in all aspects of Film Making by dedicating himself in making several short films at early stages of his life"

Bottom line .. I want to follow the rules and policies following your guidelines .. Please help me ..

Information icon Hello, I'm XLinkBot. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page Kalpana Raghavendar, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to List of modern armament manufacturers may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s and 1 "[]"s. Reminder

[edit]

Remember to mark your CSD pages as patrolled ;P JTtheOG (talk) 03:38, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Funny you should mention that: I can't see the "mark page patrolled" link in my browser, nor can I see the yellow highlighting in Special:NewPages. I'm using Firefox 43.0.2 on Windows 10 as I write this. Any hints?

Pages like that should be tagged as G3 (vandalism/Hoax.) "President of a country made of marshmallow"? Nope. Valenciano (talk) 10:09, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not a hoax that would fool most people, I think. Just kids fooling around. I prefer to use db-bio when it's clearly not malicious. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 10:11, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
If it's kids fooling around then it does need to be deleted as quickly as possible and it will be if it's tagged correctly as G3. "President of a country made of marshmallow" is clearly a blatant hoax and should be tagged as such (the article was indeed deleted as G3, not A7.) Valenciano (talk) 12:24, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It was deleted G3 after you changed it to G3, and G3 was a reasonable criterion for deletion. But A7 would also have been adequate. It's really not that big a deal. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 12:30, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion Of Cherry Tongue

[edit]

Hello,

I am new to Wikipedia and to be honest it all seems a bit confusing. I was wondering if you could provide me with some in depth information on why my page Cherry Tongue was deleted, and also wondered if you could help me to get my page accepted?

Kind Regards

MWarrCT (talk) 22:07, 7 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and welcome. Wikipedia isn't a comprehensive list of all companies, and has guidelines for inclusion. I nominated the article for deletion because there was no indication that it met the guidelines for notability on organizations and companies, which are detailed in WP:Notability (organizations and companies). Please don't take offense at the deletion: your company is relatively new, and operating in a crowded market. If it becomes notable enough for lots of in-depth coverage in the press etc., someone will eventually write an article about it. But writing about ourselves or our companies is discouraged on Wikipedia, to avoid WP:Conflict of interest. Why not edit articles about other stuff you know about? We've got over five million articles now, plus millions more notable subjects not yet written about. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 09:30, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Robert MacNiven

[edit]

Hi NeemNarduni2,

Thank you very much for reviewing my page, I am quite new to the world of creating and editing Wiki pages so I ask that you be patient with me. I understand that for the page I've created to sustain itself it must have reliable sources, I believe I have supplied these in more than one example referencing Mr. MacNiven's work being well documented on the links provided.

If there are any more issues or you require more sources please let me know as I would hate for this page to have to be removed.

Kind Regards and Many Thanks

Markelytics Solutions Page Fix

[edit]

Hi User:NeemNarduni2, Regarding: Markelytics Solutions Please let me know what the issue is and I will fix it. Earlier someone from our company had already tried creating this page but they had posted promotional content and hence it got removed. I have removed all the promotional content and only added information which is backed up with references. So let me know what can be done to publish this page.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Akshaylike (talkcontribs)

Hi,
As noted on the deletion template, the article was deleted a few months ago after a deletion discussion. An administrator will review the article, and if it's not substantially different to the state of the article then, then the consensus from the deletion discussion still applies. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 07:34, 10 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Alan Salehi's article

[edit]

Hello NeemNarduni2,

Thank you so much for your effort in making Alan Salehi's page better. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it up and running (I am new to Wikipedia). Your help has taught me a lot about formatting and how to make claims without sounding like an advertisement; thank you for your mentor-ship.

Instead of deleting the page forever, I would like an honest opinion on what to fix so the page can stay up. If the information (such as certain claims) needs to be edited or removed in some way, shape, or form, I will do that. I just don't want the article to be deleted in its entirety. I know that Alan Salehi may not seem as notable to you right now, but I am sure that other people will find his page helpful.

Please help me in keeping this page up and running. Let me know what I can fix or change to make this page operational.

Thanks. Jacobaultman6 (talk) 10:23, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, and welcome. It's a question of notability, and not really of promotion. Wikipedia has certain guidelines on notability for inclusion, such as WP:BIO, WP:CORP, etc. - you'll notice above on this page that Bob McMahon (politician), an article I created on a mayor of a reasonably large town in the US, is also up for deletion. Please don't take it personally - lots of articles created in good faith get deleted here all the time. If he gets elected to Congress, or even if there's a ton of coverage on him from reliable source during the campaign, no doubt there will be an article on him. Why not copy what you've got to your user sandbox (top right, next to your "Preferences" link), so that if he does get sufficient coverage for notability guidelines, you won't need to re-write it. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 10:37, 12 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Hi. No problem - I've moved the page you made to User:Shubham Patel. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 22:24, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

Sorry to bother you again. But i am not able to understand the meaning you said "you moved the page" ? When i tried to search "Shubham Patel" in wikipedia, it is showing no results. I have a user page named "Shubham Patel", but how can i make my wikipedia ? Please suggest me on my problem!!

Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shubham Patel (talkcontribs) 00:40, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you created an article Shubham Patel about yourself, but the article didn't say how the subject is notable enough for an encyclopedia article, so I moved that to User:Shubham Patel. Please also have a read of WP:AUTOBIO. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 07:25, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Robert MacNiven

[edit]

Hello NeemNarduni2

Tonight I have added references sufficient to fulfill the requirements you suggested i.e reviews/ interviews so as to establish Robert MacNiven with a genuine base and influence within his particular genre of writing.

The references include reviews of his stories and interviews with different and well known websites.

Thank you

Thank you for your research and attention to the article--I do hope my deletion proposals turn out to be unjustified. The COI/autobiography tug-of-war still concerns me, and I'm leaning toward a visit to the COI noticeboard, and perhaps requesting some administrative action for the user, if necessary. At this point I'm best served absenting myself from the article, so as to avoid edit-warring. Your thoughts welcome. Misplaced prod warning

[edit]

Sorry, looks like that might be a bug in Twinkle - it detected the redirect and put the PROD template on the right page, but chose to warn you about it instead of the page creator. I'll flag it up. --McGeddon (talk) 14:56, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm pretty sure that Twinkle tags the page first, tags it patrolled, and then adds the user warning. So you were probably prodding at the precise moment that I moved the article. :-) No problem! NeemNarduni2 (talk) 14:57, 20 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like we just hit another simultaneous edit - I was AfDing Giancarlo Cannito while you were prodding it. I didn't get any kind of alert there, so don't take that as a conscious decision on my part; Twinkle just removed your prod template when adding my AfD, which I suppose makes sense. Did consider prodding it but probably better to have something on the record (and potentially wrapped up more quickly) if it's a hoax, I think. --McGeddon (talk) 15:15, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

No worries! AFD is actually a better idea, to allow us to G4 this hoax next time it resurfaces. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 15:17, 22 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mercuri Urval

[edit]

Hi

I have tried to start a page about the Swedish HR company Mercuri Urval. Its the largest HR consultancy company in Sweden and one of the largest international companies in the HR area, thats why I wanted to publish it. In the last version the references where correct in my opinon. Im new into this.

Hi, and welcome. Sorry you've had a bit of a rocky start. I recommend you use the Wikipedia:Article wizard, and then submit the article for review. Since the article was deleted on the grounds of notability, you might like to review Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) before you begin. Add lots of WP:Secondary, WP:Reliable sources to support notability. Please let me know if you need any help with the fiddly stuff, such as references. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 15:12, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Bernard Motorcar Company- Page Deletion

[edit]

Please reconsider the deletion of this page. The business has been instrumental in support of not charging excess or any documentary fees at all. This concept and practice is very relevant and significant in the automobile industry. The article written had mentioned the ruling and citation also.

Please kindly reconsider and send the draft copy to me also.

(Redacted) I do not understand. I am trying to form my statements in a neutral manner and just supply facts about the institution. I have added outside sources for reference.

I just do not understand. I am trying to edit correctly. I mean no harm here. I am learning and making mistakes and then I am threatened with having my account blocked? I would really appreciate if someone could give me advice or suggestions on how to make my edits appropriately. Just copying and pasting the same rules to over and over from a textbook guideline is not helping. Your edit is wrong because of this list of reasons. I think I have fixed the problem and no, I am wrong again. I am just using trial and error. I have explained myself with all of my edits. I have worked with a wikipedia librarian who has been guiding me.

I tried to have the Downtown Library page main name changed to WVU Libraries. It is all one system. The downtown library is not special. I had my request to change the name denied. So I thought, okay, I will just make a WVU Libraries page and have that refer to the downtown library for its section.

I feel I am being berated for trying to make wikipedia correct and accurate when it is currently not. The information is not correct and some of it is out of date.

As of right now the only issue I see are two sections on the WVU Libraries page. I have not made any new changes to the downtown library page. I just worked on the Regional History Center entering citations due to the request of wikipedia. I also fixed the collection list because I was in the wrong with the links. I am learning. I want to fix the problems. I am just using trial and error. Melissarogue (talk) 22:03, 27 January 2016 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Melissarogue (talkcontribs)

Reliance Health and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital have the same exact wording:

  • Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital says "The 750 bed multi-speciality hospital underwent a 'soft' launch in early 2008 for employees and doctors who had accepted offers with KDAH, and became operational in the first week of 2009. The project was initiated in 1999 by Dr. Nitu Mandke as a large-scale heart hospital. It had the first 3-room intra-operative MRI suite (IMRIS) in South Asia. The hospital is named after the wife of Dhirubhai Ambani, who was the founder of the Reliance group of companies."

And the Reliance Health Wikipedia article has a link to the official website of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Is it the same place? Should the articles be merged? 64.134.64.190 (talk) 13:14, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I was waiting to see if the WP:SPA, WP:COI creator would add anything more about the hospital. If not, then it should definitely be merged. Reliance appears to be the umbrella co that operates the hospital. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 13:18, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thank you. 64.134.64.190 (talk) 13:21, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Am I allowed to redirect KK Crvena zvezda to Red Star Belgrade? They're the same thing (the English name for "Crvena zvezda" is "Red Star Belgrade" apparently). 64.134.64.190 (talk) 13:33, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm not sure if they're the same place since they have different websites linked (?). http://www.kkcrvenazvezda.rs for KK Crvena zvezda and http://www.crvenazvezdafk.com for Red Star Belgrade. 64.134.64.190 (talk) 13:35, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
KK Crvena zvezda is a basketball club, and Red Star Belgrade is a football club, so no, we can't redirect. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 13:37, 29 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Neem,
Very many thanks for taking the initiative of creating the article for L'Été indien (television show) so soon after I created the L'Été indien (disambiguation) page earlier today. This was most helpful of you, thank you!
Thank you also for your edit of the entry I added for the song; however, I am going to change it back to the double quotation marks required for songs (as per MOS:TITLEQUOTES), since italics are used for albums (as per MOS:ITALICS) but not for songs. Keep up the good work and thanks once again for your contributions and helpful assistance.

Need your help on Swihluvi swa mbulavulo

[edit]

hii, I translated content of this article Swihluvi swa mbulavulo with google translate but it returned nothing in english in fact for different sentences it showed different language as detected so how did you identify it as Tsonga language ? that is the reason why I added speedy deletion tag Dinnypaul (talk) 10:59, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Google Translate doesn't yet support Tsonga, and several other notable African languages. So I searched for as many of the words as I could find online, and they were all in Xitsonga (Tsonga) documents, mostly in documents from Zambia. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 11:02, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok just wanted to let you know that the user who created the page added his email address, name and phone number in the bottom of the article :) which was not removed in you revert Have a nice day Dinnypaul (talk) 11:08, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Good catch, thanks. It's also unreferenced, and I wonder whether when a Tsonga speaker is going to be able to translate this, to see if it's talking about something notable. All the exclamation marks toward the end, plus his contact details, make me think that this is advertising something. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 11:11, 2 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Andra Pradesh is big, would you please describe the location? Any sources? Xx236 (talk) 06:57, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea where in Andhra Pradesh it is, as I didn't create the article. I simply looked up its name in Google Maps to try to rescue the barely-readable sentence fragment posted by a new editor who apparently speaks little English: [2]. It does appear to exist, but might be better as a redirect if you do manage to find which district it's in, as I could find no WP:RS mentioning it in English. I went to the history and apparently someone blanked the article [3] and a new article which is the current one was restarted. I tried to fix this. I believe I did this properly. BlackAmerican (talk) 11:40, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Aha, you're right, six years ago it was originally about the fraternity and was re-written. My apologies. Man this is a tough one. How are we going to preserve the edit history from the last six years, I wonder. We might need the help of an admin. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 11:43, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Well one group was a fraternity and the other was a society. That is why I created the Gamma Phi Society. If you can help take this to an admin, I would appreciate it. BlackAmerican (talk) 11:45, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I certainly will today, thanks. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 12:22, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The more I think about it, the more I think you got it right the first time, so I've reverted my own redirect. Anyone who wants to see the edit history can see it in Gamma Phi. The split article is currently in a pretty poor state, being mostly a paraphrase of the PDF history in the external links. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 12:55, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

LENA page second Review

[edit]

Hi Neemnarduni2,

I´m trying to resolve the Speedy deletion warning. We have this three warnings:

This article contains content that is written like an advertisement. (February 2016) This article does not cite any sources. (February 2016) This article has no links to other Wikipedia articles. (February 2016)

I´m working to include sources and link to other wikipedia articles ASAP, but I would like to know what´s exactly the part of the text that you think it would be written like an advertisement to be sure my next review has no problem to be ok . — Preceding unsigned comment added by LaFactoriaPRISA (talkcontribs) 09:37, 11 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

William Edward Fraser article

[edit]

Sorry about that. When I saw it it was unsourced and looked promotional given the page creator's username. It does look better now but might copyedit for promotional language. Hi. No problem, it was a borderline A7. At this point I'm convinced that it doesn't meet WP:NPOL, and would support deletion in an AFD. A little local coverage, some press releases, that's about it. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 05:52, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Harvey Boulter

[edit]

Hi NeemNarduni2

You deleted Liam Fox and Adam Werritty section of the page Harvey Boulter that I am working on. You also copied a whole lot of content and pasted it under a #M Lawsuit section.

Do you have a personal vendetta against this person of interest? I have started building the page and now you have cost me hours of work!!!??

Can you for the love of all that is holy stop messing with the page until I can produce the relevant content?

Ccboshoff (talk) 14:47, 14 February 2016 (UTC)CCBOSHOFF[reply]

Hi. What I actually did was replace a mostly unsourced section with a well sourced and detailed account of the 3M dispute, and yes as noted in the edit summary a good portion of it was copied from the Adam Werritty article. It's very important to provide sources for what we write on Wikipedia, especially in WP:Biographies of living persons, so please don't replace the referenced content with unreferenced hagiography. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 14:53, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I am trying to get the page up and running and add valid references to it. Why did you delete Adam Werrity and Liam Fox section!!!!? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccboshoff (talkcontribs) 15:01, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't delete it, as I've noted above. NeemNarduni2 (talk) 15:11, 14 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
GIVE ME TIME TO BUILD AND ADD REFERENCE!!!
If you dont allow time to add reference there will not be ANY REFERENCES!! Give me time to write it properly!!!! Cannot go and delete stuff I am working on!!!! Who are you?? I cant do everything in 2 seconds so restore my page to the way it was before you started mucking about and let me finish it!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ccboshoff (talkcontribs)
There are already good references in place from WP:Reliable sources - please don't delete them again, though you are of course free to add more. Please note that Wikipedia is a collaborative editing environment, and the article will continue to be edited and improved by many editors.
