Okay, assuming that you are not the banned user (your English seems better :-) I've unblocked you (i.e. I've changed the block to a "soft" one on the IP that will let you as an established editor edit normally). Can you please check if you can edit now? Sorry for the inconvenience. Fut.Perf. 15:31, 16 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please unblock me (again)

[edit]

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 91.187.98.250 lifted or expired.

Request handled by: Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:16, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I keep suffering because of this Dobermannp. I'm wondering, isn't there a way to block them directly? Thank you.

Technically that wasn't an auto-block, but I've changed the terms of the IP's block so it should stop that vandal but allow you to continue to edit with this account. Hopefully. If it didn't work, you know what to do. Hersfold (t/a/c) 02:16, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much. --Dielli (talk) 09:52, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is strange. So, you have shared both 80.80.161.137 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) and 91.187.98.250 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) with Dobermannp? Can you explain this coincidence? Fut.Perf. 21:08, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well Fut.Perf.,
I'm not very knowledgeable about the way IP-addresses work in Wikipedia, but it actually took me only a click on the 'whois' of each of these two addresses to find out they're owned by the same ISP in my region/country (i.e. IPKO.net), which I didn't know. As far as I know I was editing from the same place, same PC. That's all I can say. I guess all of this ISP's clients are given private IP-addresses and all are mapped to one single (or limited number of) real IP-address, which the ISP may have changed in that meantime.
Regards,
--Dielli (talk) 13:24, 27 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I actually just confirmed with a friend, our ISP does have at least two real IP-address ranges: ~80.80.x.x and ~91.187.x.x.
Cheers.

Thank you for uploading File:Roselagj.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:23, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the guidance/warning. At the time of upload I wasn't so sure as to what to add in the boxes. I did add info and replaced this tag. Hopefully it's proper enough. --Namik (talk) 19:02, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference

[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:15, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for uploading File:Rosela_roma_1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 02:25, 26 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Rosela in Rome.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Rosela in Rome.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. 22:08, 7 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
