Unsure why its up for speedy deletion. Possibly my struggle with the page as its my first time using it. However, I am simply adding Award Winning Actress 'Mila Troncoso' bio page and profile for her career. Backed up by IMDb, online interviews, film reviews, magazine articles.
If there is anything specific that you require further citation or referencing please do let me know. I will source those, or delete upon request.
@Milatroncoso: you shouldn't be writing about yourself at all, see WP:AUTOBIO, and you shouldn't be promoting anything (incl. yourself).
Thank you for your response and for providing clarification.
I apologize for any confusion. Just to confirm, the proper procedure would involve engaging a manager, production team, or editor to handle these tasks on behalf of the artist?
This is my first time navigating the website from this perspective, and with the amount of information available, I found it a bit challenging to fully understand the process. 121.6.33.213 (talk) 07:23, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No, the proper procedure is to not involve anyone with a conflict of interest in promoting you. (If you do decide to go down that road, please tell them that they must be totally open and transparent about their conflict, by making a paid-editing disclosure upfront, using the {{paid}} template.) Wikipedia articles are instead mostly written by people who have no connection whatsoever to the subject they write about. My best advice to you is to forget about Wikipedia and focus on your career, and if you become a notable enough actor (etc.), someone unconnected to you may one day write an article about you.
Note also that if an article is written about you, you do not 'own' it nor is it under your control in any sense of the word. It will be edited by anyone and everyone, and some of the things they may say (or not say) may not be to your liking. In fact, the only person who will not be allowed to edit the article will be, funnily enough, you (and your representatives); you will only be allowed to make edit requests via the article talk page, which uninvolved editors may choose to implement, or not.
