Are you editing for pay?
[edit]Hi there Mfhapnyc. I'm a volunteer on conflict of interest related subjects and came across your contributions in relation to another editor. I have a simple question: are you paid for the things you write about on Wikipedia? If the answer is yes, it's not the end of the world, but there are some things you will have to do to continue editing here. You can just reply here, I'll be watching for an answer. Thanks. Hey Brianhe - I'm not paid to write. I'm an employee of AlphaPoint and saw an article about the company, which was out of date and effectively a conglomeration of copy and facts from www.alphapoint.com. My edits consisted in adding publicly available info and editing for coherence and grammar. I have since read through the COI page. Please let me know steps you recommend for controlling for COI going forward. I'm happy to recuse myself from further editing, etc. Cheers, thanks
