Request reason:

I understand that my past actions have not been helpful in improving this website. I will not disturb fellow users or abuse puppet accounts. I am mainly here to help on WP:TC (hence my name) and I would like to regain trust and continue making helpful edits in that area and maybe others. Meteorologist200 (talk) 14:15, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Decline reason:

The best way you can begin to rebuild trust would be to observe the standard offer. 331dot (talk) 10:25, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

How do I make contributions because it says I can't just quit for half a year I have to help or something. Meteorologist200 (talk) 12:59, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No. No contributions. --Yamla (talk) 14:04, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
No contributions here, but you can make contributions at other WMF projects such as WikiCommons or the Simple English Wikipedia.-- P-K3 (talk) 14:42, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

{unblock|reason=I would like to utilize the standard offer. It has been 3 months and I have been observing proper behavior and Wikipedia behavior. I am ready to come back with no rules broken. I would like to regain trust with the community. I am sorry to all the people that I have disturbed. Thank you, Meteorologist200 Meteorologist200 (talk) 20:33, 14 April 2021 (UTC)}}[reply]

WP:SO requires six months. Six months from the original block is 2021-05-17. If the reviewing admin decides to reset the timer, that'd be 2021-10-14. --Yamla (talk) 20:43, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh shoot. I thought it was recommended. Meteorologist200 (talk) 23:27, 14 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

It has been six months and hurricane season is going to ramp up soon. I would like to use the standard officer. Thanks, MeteorologistMeteorologist200 (talk) 23:29, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Apologies for the typo. Meteorologist200 (talk) 23:30, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you so much. I have waited 6 months. I will definitely not be making disruptive edits.

Can I remove the check user thing Meteorologist200 (talk) 15:15, 5 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Weather: Map Dot & Template/Infobox Colors

[edit]

Dear project member, This message is being sent out to encourage new ideas and feedback on those proposed in regard to the colors debate for WikiProject Weather. For those who are unaware of what's been happening over the last year, I will give a brief summary. We have been discussing proposed changes to the colors of the dots on tropical cyclone maps and templates and infoboxes across the entire weather project in order to solve issues related to the limited contrast between colors for both normal vision as well as the various types of color blindness (MOS:ACCESS). We had partially implemented a proposal earlier this year, however, it was objected to by a number of people and additional issues were presented that made it evident this wasn't the optimal solution. We tried to come up with other solutions to address the issues related to color contrast, however, none of them gained traction and no consensus was generated.

We need your help and I encourage you to propose your own scale and give feedback on those already listed. Keep in mind that we are NOT making a decision on any individual proposal at this time. We are simply allowing people to make proposals and cultivate them given feedback from other project members. Please visit our project page for additional details. The proposal phase will close no later than December 31st at 23:59 UTC. NoahTalk 04:06, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the tropical cyclone WikiProject! I saw you recently added yourself to the member list. I wondered what aspect of editing are you most interested in? We have new articles, old storms, lists, general meteorology articles, and lots of other projects that need work. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 20:12, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
