DYK for Caleb Orozco

On 7 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Caleb Orozco, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Caleb Orozco, who successfully challenged the Belize Criminal Code for violations to his privacy and freedom of expression, won the 2016 David Kato Vision and Voice award? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Caleb Orozco. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Caleb Orozco), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

"420" collaboration

As a member of WikiProject Cannabis, you are invited to help organize the project's upcoming "420" collaboration, which is scheduled for April 2017. Yes, we're a few months away, but we're hoping to get the ball rolling by getting buy-in from experienced Wikipedia editors and seek help fleshing out some goals and ideas for a successful campaign. We also plan to conduct both on-wiki and offlline outreach so non-Wikipedias can also contribute. If you are interested in participating, please sign up and contribute to the ongoing discussions. All editors are welcome! ---Another Believer (Talk) 16:52, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Cool! Thanks for the heads up, Another Believer! ;) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 17:21, 10 January 2017 (UTC)

Review for NPOV

Hi, Megalibrarygirl,

Would you be willing to review Doris Daou for NPOV? See the talk page for details of a small kerfuffle I seem to have found.

Thanks! — Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 00:33, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Grand'mere Eugene, I'll hop over right now and start looking at it. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 01:07, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
That was speedy work! Thank you for the helpful additions to the article. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 02:03, 12 January 2017 (UTC)
No problem, Grand'mere Eugene. I had the time, so I figured I'd hop to it. ;) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 18:23, 12 January 2017 (UTC)

Question for Megalibrarygirl

Hi Megalibrarygirl, I spotted an article for deletion on an Australian woman artist with mental disabilities - an Outsider artist. She has had four solo shows, is in two museum collections and has been in over 30 group shows. It seems that she would pass notability standards, but some do not think so. It would be a shame for her to slip through the cracks of history. Dorothy Berry I've worked on the article somewhat this morning - formatting, copy editing and adding citations. I would like to tag or add templates to the article so that it can be discussed in several WikiProjects, (women artists, visual artists, etc) but I don't know how to do that. When you find a moment, could you let me know how to add those template/tags, or if possible could you add them? Many thanks in advance. Netherzone (talk) 18:19, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

I'll take a look! Thanks for bringing it to my attention, Netherzone. I'll see if the artist turns up in any databases, too. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 18:38, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
What is the name of the article, Netherzone? I'll try to find it, but in case I can't, can you link me? Megalibrarygirl (talk) 18:41, 13 January 2017 (UTC)
Sorry about that Megalibrarygirl - forgot to link it: Dorothy Berry Many thanks! Netherzone (talk) 18:54, 13 January 2017 (UTC)

Let's reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement!

Hi Megalibrarygirl (what an awesome username!), please allow me to get in touch because you have stated sympathy with environmental causes on your user page. I would like to invite you to check out the Environmental impact project page on Meta, where I am trying to create some momentum to reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement. My first goal is to have all the Wikimedia servers run on renewable energy. Maybe you could show your support for this project as well by adding your signature here? Thank you, --Gnom (talk) 21:58, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
