Speedy deletion nomination of Osho Tapoban
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Osho Tapoban, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Dewritech (talk) 12:05, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Fixing the article
[edit]Hello. The article has been moved to User:Medha0110/Osho Tapoban. Please don't panic at finding it gone. :) I will be leaving you a more detailed note in just a minute about how to fix the problems the other editor found. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:38, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Writing articles
[edit]First, I assume that you found my name in the logs for the article. While it is true that I once deleted an article under that title, it was in 2009 and had nothing to do with the current content. Somebody else flagged it this time, and I can only advise you on what may have triggered their concerns.
First, you have been either been given or have taken kind of a difficult subject to write about. :/ It's not impossible, but you will want to be very careful to avoid using language that sounds like you are writing for a tour guide. We don't ever say things like "Osho Tapopn is great place for birdwatchers and nature lovers" in our articles. It's not our place to make that judgment. :) We also do not describe ground as "holy" or environments as "vibrant". Our goal is not to make people want to go to this place. Our purpose here is to write neutral summaries of what reliable sources have said about notable subjects.
If I were writing an article about this place, I would be using sources like this and these (you can cite the ones you can preview).
I would neutrally describe what they are, using information (but not language) drawn from those sources and citing them. I would remove anything that sounds like a travel brochure. Once that is done, you can move the article back into article space (I will help you, if you need - just let me know at my talk page) and hope that it no longer seems like a problem to the editor who reviewed it or to others. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:49, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
