Pacifica Early History
[edit]Hi, MariaMitchell! I've been doing some work on community radio and related stations and happened to notice your post from January 2008 regarding expanding Pacifica's early history section. Did you have something specific in mind? And is there any reason you didn't pursue this yourself (busy is always a good response to that)? Anyway, in doing various research, I've come across several sources that might be helpful. Within a few days, I'll add information to the section from the 1940s through 1960s. If you will, please look this over to see if this was what you were looking for. Also, if you'd like to contribute, I'd be more than willing to share the sources I've found. Thanks. This was more out of casual interest; at the time I was reading through the differences between the various public radio organizations and was intrigued by Pacifica. I'd vaguely heard about the origins of the network (which would obviously inform any current controversies etc.) but there's not a lot here right now. Thanks for your efforts here, as a reader I will appreciate them. MariaMitchell (talk) 04:41, 6 March 2009 (UTC)
