Henry Ughtred

[edit]

Dear Madame Bonheur. I wanted to thank you for having created and developed for the most part the article Henry Ughtred. It is generally very well done and illustrated and nice to read. You have been able to find quite a number of good sources. I came across your article while working on the article Sir George Courtenay, 1st Baronet and have been able to use some of the sources you found for his story. Thank you very much indeed. However, I disagree with your identification of the "Conollo" (CSP, Hamilton, 1877, p51, "to plant the counties of Connollo and Kerry") with the town of Connolly, County Clare. I think what is meant in the CSP is the Connello area around the modern baronies of Connello Lower (Askeaton and Rathkeale) and Connello Upper (Castletown) in the County of Limerick. Please see the map in the article Barony (Ireland). With many thanks and best regards, Johannes Schade (talk) 13:37, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
