Reference Errors on 8 March
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the John Holeman page, your edit caused a broken reference name (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:31, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Co-op mentor
[edit]Hey MLODROB, my name is Jethro, a coordinator at The Co-op. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for making your profile! I want to introduce you to your mentor, Go Phightins!, who can help you with your interest in writing content and learning about Wikipedia. He will be along soon to get things started, but in the meantime, what do you want to accomplish through mentorship? Have you come across some editing topics Wikipedia you wanted to learn more about? In terms of writing, were did you want to start writing an article about a topic you are interested in, or improve an existing article you've come across? Thanks a bunch, I, JethroBT drop me a line 18:55, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
I want to get used to Wikipedia's rules and culture. I'm not an expert in any subjects, so I might only be good for grunt work. I wanted to make sure that I was approaching and doing edits correctly. I suppose I'll find an answer for the rest as I go. MLODROB (talk) 19:16, 10 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hi, MLODROB. My name is Ben (Go Phightins! on Wikipedia), and I will be your mentor. I apologize that I did not notice this until now -- I will check in again tomorrow or Thursday, but just so I know, how would you like this mentorship to work? I have compiled some great resources here at my old adoption school (back when we had a slightly different schematic for mentorship), so if you would like to work through some of those lessons, I would be more than happy to help you with that, or if you want to pick and choose some topics or whatever, it is entirely up to you. The fastest place to get a hold of me is by pinging me using {{ping|Go Phightins!}} and making sure to sign that edit with four tildes, as I see you know how to do. Let me know how I can help, and let's dive in! Go Phightins! 03:14, 11 March 2015 (UTC) P.S. Ich spreche ein Bisschen Deutsch (kleine Bisschen). [Just saw that userbox and thought I would see how much I remember ]
- If you want to read a little more about what I do on Wikipedia, check this out. Go Phightins! 03:16, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
@Go Phightins!: Thank you very much for the link. I will go through the lessons listed and tell you if I have any questions. As a side thought, where could I be helpful in editing with a lack of skill? I have been looking through the "backup" list, but it looks a little daunting. MLODROB (talk) 05:16, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
- What are you interested in doing -- writing/cleaning up/expanding articles, vandalism reversion, or are you not sure? I would recommend you take a look at lesson three in the adoption course linked above before undertaking much vandalism work, just so you can make sure you have the basics under control. Do you have a subject in which you might be interested in editing articles? I can help you find articles in that interest area and work with you to build up article editing skills. Go Phightins! 19:23, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
@Go Phightins!: So far I've had the most fun with cleaning up/copy editing articles. I've also thought about helping with sharing content from the German Wikipedia to here. I'm more interested in editing geographical articles. A few more of those to do would be nice. Sorry for not being very specific, but I'm blundering my way through figuring things out. MLODROB (talk) 20:08, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
- OK, well, we have the Geography WikiProject, which is somewhat active ... they have some articles listed as needing cleanup on the front page, as well as some that need copyedited. We also have the guild of copyeditors, which handles requests for copyedits. No need to apologize; I am here to help you figure things out :-) Go Phightins! 21:42, 11 March 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi,Regarding the POV i have made that statement neutral now.I don't have an issue with your edits on grammar or sentence structure but your seem to have edited(erased) some important historical facts that leads to the development .Thank you. AA (talk) 06:41, 11 March 2015 (UTC) I
A barnstar for you!
[edit]You deserve this. AA (talk) 17:20, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank you very much. I don't think I can accept it, however. It would devalue the awards other people have gotten for doing more important things. I appreciate the sentiment, though. :) MLODROB (talk) 17:24, 11 March 2015 (UTC)
Hi there! Thanks for contributing your time to learning contributing to Wikipedia through mentorship at The Co-op. The Co-op is actually a very new project on Wikipedia, and you've been a great help in helping us improve it so far. We want to get your feedback on your use of the Co-op in addition to your experience with your mentor and editing Wikipedia generally. When you are able, please take the Qualtrics survey here to give us your feedback. With your help, we can make the Co-op and mentorship helpful for different needs, and expand the space for many editors to use. Thanks for your help, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:44, 27 March 2015 (UTC)
How's it going?
[edit]Anything I can help you with? Go Phightins! 22:09, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
No, I think I'm okay for now. Thank you for the concern. MLODROB (talk) 03:21, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- Excellent. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you. Happy Easter! Go Phightins! 16:36, 5 April 2015 (UTC)
Vandalism
[edit]An unsigned IP is randomly vandalising lots of articles. Please, could you advise on how to deal with this. See here --92slim (talk) 22:38, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- @92slim: I am currently discussing a difference in opinion related to an article. First, discuss with this user why you feel differently. There may be a misunderstanding that can be resolved. Beyond that, contact a third party. MLODROB (talk) 22:48, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for the advice. The issue is solved. :) --92slim (talk) 23:05, 12 April 2015 (UTC)
Stop editing Amel Nona's page, you have no right changing information about a biography of a person, which is false accusations. Its against the law, if you dont believe me search it up. and with that you can be punished heavily, this is your last chance im giving you. stop changing the page and i have the only right to say this because amel shimoun nona is my uncle who is now living in australia and is the new archbishop of australia and new-zealand. and he has also stated clearly that what it says about him is false of him being an assyrian and his name is also spelt wrong its not emil its AMEL and i have proof with his passport with me. so you can see why i keep changing it because i have the right and you dont fagget
- I'm not going to bother giving this a serious answer. MLODROB (talk) 17:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)
- Well, don't you fagget it! EEng (talk) 00:28, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
