I know im banned (which i don't understand, as i have removed a comment from the top of my talk page because i see it as immature) but anyway i've made a sandbox (as the Y&R minor characters page is way too long) of Y&R characters from 2011, and it consists of characters that were introduced/ or re-introduced (Like Ricky Williams) in 2011. I can definitely divulge into those pages in a while. I'm trying to concentrate on getting the third infobox up once I can get the coding to show up. I quite like the current set-up I have been working on and think you could as well. Episode count

You said that in the Days Of Our Lives template that episode # 11754 was aired Wed Jan 11 2012. I know better in this case, and the number is actually 11755, i.e. episode # 11755 was aired Wed Jan 11 2012 not 11754. Please don't change that. Wingard (talk) 00:22, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

You're not bothering me, it's just a hectic time for me right now, aha. I have some personal things going on so my time to Wikipedia is a tad bit limited, and then when idiots go and try to do things their way, like removing commas from airdates, it gets tidious. And the sextape was an insult to Diane and Maura West. I think it's Patty/Deacon. I don't think Adam killed her. As per individual year pages, I honestly don't seem them as a purpose. I'd rather see 1970s/1980s/1990s/2000s/2010s, you know what I mean? Merge one year into a ten year pages, less chances of them being removed. Just my two-cents.

I don't think Adam killed her but he is involved in something with Patty. My goal is to make pages from 2000, 2001 and over. But under 2000, i want to make it into decades as there aren't enough characters or information. Thankyou excited to see the page. Well i think even if there are 7 notable characters from a certain year, its ok to have that on a single page if it correctly sourced and well written. Y&R is just so boring. There was potential to write this storyline so much better. And firstly, this storyline (Diane dying) shouldn't have occurred anyway. MAB and her hack writers can't write worth a darn. I'm not sure about Ronan. But i hope he returns, he isn't particularly interesting but god damn sexy lol. I really hope MAB gets hit by a truck and goes to hospital forEVER so that somebody else could write the show. She ruined it lol. Moving on, MAB definitely can't construct a show. She pulled our leg for months concerning MTS/Nikki, and then firing MW/Diane and hiring these AMC alums. While that doesn't bother me, it upsets me. OMG! (SPOILER ALERT IF U HAVENT HEARD THE LATEST) HOW DARE MAB DO THAT TO NIKKI! She made Nikki a pysco insane freak! I can't believe Nikki killed Diane. the storyline also doesn't make sense - even though Nikki is bigger, diane is WAY tougher then Nikki and could have easily knocked her out! SAW THE EPISODE!! HAVE TO RESPOND TO THIS AS SOON AS I GOT ONLINE TODAY!!! First off, how they handled the new scenes with "Diane" was insulting to Maura West and if I were her, I'd be pissed like I know she is. Secondly, though I am happy at the resolution of this 5-6 month Diane murder storyline, I don't like how they pinned it on Nikki, especially on self-defense. EXACTLY ITS AN INSULT TO DIANE AS A CHARACTER AND MAURA WEST! I am not happy with the outcome. Its terrible and stupid. Because Nikki already confessed - its obvious she was right. I wasn't shocked just disappointed. MAB sucks! I Hope Y&R drops from #1 Soap so MAB will be like "O sh*t" lol. About "Shictor" i don't even view them as a legit couple. Ive been watching since they call it the "Shick Days" and Victor is a TOTAL father figure and i nearly THREW UP when i saw them kiss - its like incest lol. Secretly i will always want Nick and Sharon to be endgame (and if MAB doesn't make them endgame when the show ends, she is dead). They have history that can't be compared to people like Phyllis and Adam. Even Phyllis and Adam know DEEP down that they will end up together. I really don't give a damn about Nikki. I've hated her a long time as she hates Sharon. She is the show's biggest hypocrit - as much as i don't like to say it (because i love Taylor, my fav character on B&B, but she is a major hypocrit) Nikki is Y&R's Taylor. She walks around acting like shes the best when she was a stripper and hooker who grew up WORSE then Sharon and she gets jumpy at anybody who seems like she did. And i didn't watch during the Victor & Nikki golden days in the 1980s and the 1990s when they were married to others but were still in love (like Nick and Sharon from 2007-2009) so i don't know i've just seen Youtube scenes. But Melody Thomas Scott is a wonderful Soap Diva! Nothing against her. I love Sharon i don't mind her with Adam. He truly cares despite this past faults (not faults, crimes lol). But Nick is just endgame even tho i hate his ass. Anyway i hope Chelsea sticks around people like her are good because i loved her on AMC!

I feel agnostic watching old soap videos. They were so good back then! They came up with creative storylines. I also miss classic DOOL - a person being kidnapped everyweek etcetc and the EVIL DiMeras! AMAZING. and Y&R too. They used to write good but then MAB came along..and ruined it. MAB has really destroyed the series, and turned it into a mockery. Michelle Stafford even said in an interview she'd love to have sex in a bed for once, and hoped the writers and MAB saw it. I want "Shick" as endgame as well, when they briefly reunited I was sososososososo happy, especially with Cassie's wish coming true. Phyllis and Adam, to be blunt, need to just f**k like wild animals. I know they want to, I saw the chemistry since Michael Muhney took the role over.

Oh, Nikki is to the Taylor of Y&R. Taylor is the biggest hypocrite; Thomas blackmailed Brooke and torn her marriage apart and never apologized for Brooke for it. Hell, Taylor slept with Rick!! How hypocritical of her. Taylor has been after every single man Brooke has had minus Eric and Grant and Deacon. It's disgusting. Girl has some serious issues, I would never trust her to be my psychiatrist.

Maura didn't care who killed Diane, she tweeted me that she could care less and has no interest. Her final day, she cried leaving the set because of how poorly she was treated by everyone. She was horribly treated and this whole end of the story is disgusting. At least it's over.

Chelsea seems incestuousness to me. Melissa/Billy were brother and sister on AMC so it seems wrong. The show needs less newbies and more vets.

Thats fascinating! That Maura West didn't care - good on her. I feel so sorry for her :(. Thats a terrible thing. MAB sucks. Maura is a lovely actress and will be appreciated elsewhere i just hope and pray that she can keep her soap career alive. YES when Shick reunited i was jumping for joy. But MAB is TRYING to convince us that Adam & Sharon are the "ultimate Love" like she is trying to convince us that Rafe & Sami are meant to be together - when she belongs with E.J./Lucas. As for Taylor; she has been a hypocrit (its clear to me) in recent years (2009-). But before she was such a smart sophisticated person. And as a Tridge fan and a person who watched during the Tridge days, it was evident then that Ridge always wanted Taylor but the writers have turned it around. Its stupid. But thats the writer's fault for making her like that. And Nikki they've done the same. They ruined iconic characters. Also i don't think its purpose that Taylor has been with all of Brooke's men- its just that the show don't have enough men so they use Brooke's leftovers for EVERYONE - Katy, Donna, Felicia! Everyone has a bit of Brooke's leftovers lol. And they wouldn't bring it (except Whip, which was a fail) anybody just for the purpose of a romantic relationship for a senior cast member. SC is a brilliant actress and deserved and Emmy in 2006 & 2009 (2007 & 2010) when Nick left her for Phyllis those scenes were MAGICAL and when she gave birth and learned her child was "Dead" she is amazing. I miss Carly Tenney so much :( I actually don't mind newbies unless they have good storylines. Vets never work out - like with Tristan Rogers (who is now going back to GH) that was a fail! Maura spoke out in an interview, saying she knew by Week Two that her time on Y&R was going to be short-lived and when she left the show, only Michael Muhney was nice to her. "Shadam" don't belong, he stole her baby. That alone would make me hate him, no matter how much he was so sexy. LOL. Eh, I love "Safe" together, I cannot stand EJ/Lucas. Per Taylor; she's been a hypocrite a lot, as have Ridge. I don't truly believe "Tridge" belong, no matter how much I watch them for the 16+ years I have. And Whip was a #FAIL. It was merely Rick Herst getting a job since GH dropped him from the cast. And I have Twitter, yes. I am very vocal about soap on it, aha. Every soap I am vocal about. I don't see Chelsea/Billy, I see "Chadam" because I know MCE would love to work more with Adam. Per Crystal; I'm on the fence. They recasted Felicia with a strong actress, and look at how they use her. Once per Christmas, maybe a few holidays inbetween. She wasn't even at Thanksgiving, it's pitiful. Unfortunately, I do not believe SC deserved the award in '07 nor '10. Maura deserved those awards. Aha. Maura had two excellent strong submissions those two years, some of her best work, one she was even pregnant in. I knew it was Nikki because they said Nikki was missing from rehab, that was a red flag. Patty showed up post-murder I believe and took the syringe. It was a horribly kept secret that Nikki killed Diane, putting Patty on the scene didn't deflect it at all. And I'm not leaving, but they nearly pushed me today. Infobox colors

Hello, Musicfreak7676. Do you think you can bring up changing infobox colors at WP:SOAPS first...before making such changes? I noticed that you are changing One Life to Live character articles to black. But black is used for General Hospital. Are you only changing the infoboxes of One Life to Live characters who will be on General Hospital? If so, it's not good to have some of the One Life to Live infoboxes sport blue...while the others sport black. It's also not ideal to have two American soap operas sporting the same color. They are still primarily One Life to Live characters. And I just stated that it is not "ideal to have two American soap operas sporting the same color." Your change makes it so that some One Life to Live characters will be sporting blue, while others are sporting black. These infobox colors were selected for each series years ago, and it is better that they be discussed instead of chosen on the whim of any editor. Flyer22 (talk) 23:48, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

I brought it up under the template discussion. I suggested a third soapbox and universal colour theme. I just figured it would lessen the amount of edit wars concerning colours, and if characters were to crossover, there would be no dispute. My opinion on SoapsSheKnows is that it's not reliable. If sites like MichaelFairman/SoapCentral aren't classified as reliable sources, then I don't believe this site nor DaytimeConfidential should be. True i have to same thinking. But Daytime Confidential is a source. They refer to it on SoapNet sometimes. Also Michael Fairman is definitely a reliable source. He goes behind the scenes and has video interviews. He is definitely good as a source. Soap Central i try not to use but i always have to with the pages im making - because they are the only refs available. I think whether or not SOap Central should be used as a source should be discussed because it has lots of good info from the past which is accessible. Anyway why would you feel Michael Fairman isn't a good source? :\ i think the SoapsSheKnows source could be used because its a SHARON CASE interview with the actual website. Im not sure tho. For me, SoapCentral is reliable because I know the owner and he's in connection with the soaps, especially their actors. It's an excellent archive as well, but the news they post is usually right. Some things they post are speculation, but that's to keep the fans up-to-date. So if SC cannot be used, then MFS should also not be used. And SOAPNet refers to Facebook as well, yet that is not a reliable, verifiable source. Verifiable is third-party, and MFS isn't always third-party when he reports. He places his own opinions, etc. Dan Kroll does not in the news postings. You know what I mean? Well rt1 told me that it is a reliable source. I feel all of those (soapnet, soapcentral MFS) are all good sources. SOAPNet is a good source because it airs the soap operas and is an official character, with rights to all the soaps. Michael Fairman has video & audio interviews thats why i feel he is a good source. Hi! I'm new to Wikipedia. I'm a huge fan of The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) and I have been editing some character pages. I'm very sensitive about my work and worry it isn't good enough. I have had a lot of generous help from SoapJar21 ("Arre") and I would just love to make friends/companions on Wiki. Thus far, I'm friends with SoapJar21 and Creativity97. They've been sooo nice to me and I see that you contribute a lot to soaps and I would love get advice from you as well as be your friend :) Two friends just doesn't seem enough! You can call me Soap General. Is there anything specific you would like me to call you, or is Musicfreak what you like to be called?? Anyhow, I would deeply appreciate to hear back from you. If you don't, that's okay. I just detest being lonely. BTW - what soaps do you watch? I watch B&B and DOOL. I don't watch the following soaps: Y&R: Boring, and General Hospital (GH): It's okay, but who has the time to watch? :) Arre said that they are working on character pages for Y&R. I haven't watched Y&R consecutively since 1993 so I know next to nothing, but when I watched Jill Foster was my favorite. Brenda Dickson was amazing until Jess Walton came on and ruined the role. Anything related to my name, it's initials or anything I will respond to, aha. It's quite nice to meet you Alfredo, love your name! It reminds me of the Alfredo I love on my macaroni every now-and-again, aha. I watch all of the four current on-air soap operas. And any addition to pages that can help further improve the pages is well welcomed, and shouldn't shy you away from making such edits.

I disagree with you on Brenda vs. Jess as Jill. I adore Jess as Jill, she's done fantastic. Brenda was too camp in the role and would not fit in it today. She was a Diva, and I cannot see her side of her argument of her final years on Y&R. I miss Don on Y&R, I feel like Brad was a much stronger and well-versed character than Bill has ever been. I loved Bill up until this past year when he cheated on Katie and is continuing to lie to her. Hi again! Yeah like I said it's been 19 years since I followed Y&R so I don't know maybe Jess Walton has gotten better as Jill, all I know is that I hated her when she came on way back in 1987. And about Don Diamont, you never really answered my question to as what happened to his character on Y&R. It's been sooo long I don't even remember his character name, I don't really need his name but I really want to know what happened to his character.

Also, thanks for the compliments on my name! Fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite meal of all time so I named my username after it. Other than that I like being called Soap General. I was quite close to naming my account that but Fettuccine Alfredo surpasses soaps any day!

And I know that I'm encouraged to not shy away about editing, but people have already reverted my work and it makes me feel unwanted. In fact about five years ago in 2007 I had another Wiki account but I got involved in so many edit wars it overwhelmed me, I'm very sensitive and it wasn't easy to go through. I don't even remember the username or anything :P

But Don as Bill has become my favorite daytime character of all-time hands down. I realized that in early 2010. I don't care what he does, I love him sooo much. Other than that, my favorite characters on B&B include Stephanie Forrester (Bill took her place!), Amber Moore (who I understand was on Y&R for awhile), Pamela Douglas, Liam Spencer and Katie Logan. Katie hasn't really been impressing me lately but she's okay, however I've always disapproved of her marriage to Bill, that's one thing that Bill has done that really ticked me off. Other than that I could watch B&B every second of every day. I love it more than I love my home!! lol.

You watch Days? My favorite characters there are Sami Brady, Maggie Horton, Abe Carver, Bo Brady, Kate Roberts, John Black and Marlena Evans. Seems like a lot but I love them all the same. The purpose of an infobox is to provide the reader with a quick rundown on important facts about the subject. The actresses who have played this character count as important details. The reader shouldn't have to wade through the casting section for that information when it could easily be placed in the infobox. I will be restoring the information again. Do you really think I'm that stupid Musicfreak? That promo pic is not Kirsten because Kirsten hasn't had that long hair in over 10 years. She had it when she was in her teens than she cut it and hasn't had short hair since. So the pic is either a fake or a look a like. You need to face the facts. It IS Kirsten. She had it from Feb to April 2009. That's a promotional shoot she did AS Maxie for publication. I tried to improve the article with a pic that resembles Maxie more but no, you prefer one that doesn't even look like Maxie that people all know. The correct response to the behavior you're describing is to calmly report them and not to edit war. WP:CIVIL is something you should also read. When you're dealing with someone like Wingard, you should try your best to dispassionately follow WP:Dispute resolution or report them at an appropriate noticeboard. A certain user is battling in edit warring concerning soap pages because they show signs of WP:OWN and have been blocked TWICE for said things. And they continually do such because they believe we should let them do it since they're from a certain country and it's all they can do. MusicFreak7676, I just glanced at your recent contributions, and it seems you are very upset about a user, and are currently treating Wikipedia as a bit of a WP:BATTLEFIELD.

I see you have already had advice from User:AniMate and User:Floquenbeam, who are both respected administrators, on your talk page. It's good advice. You should listen to it and follow it. I understand it can be frustrating, but the processes do exist and you need to let them work.

I'd also recommend looking at WP:CANVASS, because, although you haven't specifically mentioned the WP:ANI thread on this, it could look as though you are posting on user pages to try to get support for your position, which is frowned on.

George is not an administrator: he's a good, very knowledgeable and experienced editor who makes very many good contributions, but he cannot help you with disputes like this, so bringing concerns like this to his talk page is not productive. As one of George's "mentors", I noticed this message on his page. I would have 2 additional pieces of advice for you:

• Stop the WP:BATTLEFIELD mentality. It rarely results in your desired outcome.
• Do not try to involve other people, such as George, in your battles.

If you have concerns about another user's behaviour, and you cannot solve your concerns by discussion with the editor in question, then follow WP:DR. You can bring it up with an administrator you trust, or at WP:RFC/U or WP:ANI, as you did, but remember that those solutions will involve looking at both sides of any issue, so your own behaviour is under scrutiny, too. Just to let you know a couple of things, however: in response to this, you should know that a user has a right to remove a warning - as far as admins are concerned, that's proof that it's been read. Sure, it does not mean they accept it, but it still has the same effect. Second, it's quite possible you should have received a block. An edit-summary that reads "JUST STOP! YOU'RE NOT HELPING THIS SITE!!!! LEAVE!!!!" is not, and never will be appropriate. Do not have discussions via edit-summaries, and do not ever try to force someone to leave the project. Edit-summaries describe the edit. Yelling (all capital letters) gets you nowhere. Right MF - I already had that article in my watchlist - so I was aware what potentially could happen - and it did. I'm not an admin so there is little I can do about Soapfan2013's conduct. I don't think linking articles affected by a content helps either - I think many see that kind of thing as asking someone else to join in. I think the problem is that you are making yourself the martyr. You, Creativity and Soapjar started something good. Now for some reason on here - editing articles within the guidelines, following protocol can often leave you feeling like you have drawn the short end of the stick. I say this because there are so many IP editors and new editors with an interest in these soap opera articles - but they are unfamiliar with adding sources, the real world perspective for fiction, the MoS on fiction then every other thing that comes with it.

You have to decide whether a user is in their eyes, trying to help or just disrupt. The ones who are disruptive, who you have actually had to deal with, can be reported. The others are worth trying to talk with - we were all new once and probably not that clued up on the day to day running of this place. So a help in hand sometimes works. So buddio, please try and not argue over edit summaries or let something esculate into an edit war. There are so many things I disagree with - Everyone would like to speak their mind, but you just have to think about it and move on.

However, this other editor who the dispute is with - they are lucky because they just got a friendly warning for their outlandish edit summary. So I can understand why you feel hard done to. I mean they told me to keep out of "their" discussions - all because I pointed out that they do not own the copyrights to a TV series because they brought the series boxset. Thats funny. The character of Katie always gets on my nerves ever since she was with Bill. They never matched, true. Heather Tom will ALWAYS be my "Victoria". Thats how I saw are again, and i was pretty annoyed that they changed the actress instead of just leaving the character out, but she has (Amelia) earned her place. Victoria is the daughter of Victor, and i think you were the one who said this before, but Heather Tom can hold are own and is a very strong actress in the part of Victoria who always argues with Victor, but Amelia comes off as weak to me. She will turn into Brooke lol her worst nightmare. And at first (in like 2010 ) i was wondering who Hope would give her virginity up to for the first time, but they have DRAGGED it out too long and this show is the When Will Hope? show lol. TBA, i haven't watched B&B alot. I FF the scenes. I love seeing people like Amber, Dayzee, Marcus, Taylor, Stephanie. I know how you said that soap opera digest overrides the network credits but DeGarmo has been on Y&R since October and I have looked every single week and her name is added to the Contract Cast List. And its true; the only reason Bill stayed with annoying Katie is because of her overreacting heart thing ..please 0_0 lol but Heather WORKED those scenes. Sorry, but B&B has always been boring to me. Same recycled storylines over the past 30+ years. And I liked Steffy until she ditched Marcus and turned into her mother, desperate and entitled. And I love Heather Tom as an actress, she's very talented. And Steffy was hypocritical because she never respected Liam and Hope's engagement, yet she marries him and all of a sudden it's "respect my marriage." So yes, she is a hypocrite. I wish Liam had let her drown and it brought Phoebe back. I wouldn't want Heather back as Victoria as I love Amelia Heinle in the role and she's earned it. And Taylor as a character is just stupid, I've never liked her. She's too needy. She had Jack, found out he was biologically Brooke's than totally gave up on him. And the only class person on the show are RJ and Brooke/Nick's son. Everyone else can't keep their legs shut or pants zipped. Also, Alfredo can you reply on your page? Besides, the episode is not considered to have aired until after it's complete - if the network shows 5 minutes then pulls the plug due to some global emergency, the episode count cannot/should not increment. Can you help?

Hi MF! I spent a lot of time creating a page for Garrett Ryan. Now it says there's a cite error and no reflist, but I put one and fixed it billions of times!! It's very frustrating and because of this apparent cite error the filmography table I made (which took FOREVER) won't show. If I'm not asking too much could you take a look and maybe determine the problem? It's really irritating me and I took time and effort to find some really good sources. Hello. I have been browsing the pages for The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, as I see you contribute often to these pages. Sentences aren't worded properly on the Y&R page in many areas. On the B&B page, it is even worse as many paragraphs do not even make sense in that article. It would be best to fix many things on both pages; I am going to look into what I can fix. I will also be looking into what I can fix on the pages for All My Children and Coronation Street. Do you know when Ron Carlivati's work will air on GH, have any specified airdate? Here's another question I don't get, Frank Valentini and Ron both started the same day, but Franks episode's of GH started airing on 2/1/12 of this year, so how come Ron's material hasn't aired yet if they started the same day? Nope, they wouldn't have started on the same day. Ron's material doesn't begin airing until the end of the month, rumoured next week. Wolf/Altman were still under a contract longer than JFP. Never had an issue with heads "cut off", they are high quality and that literally brings quality to the article. I once got yelled at since the top of someone's head wasn't in the image. So now I try to include them. That's what I try to bring with my images, bring a higher quality to the articles through the images. Y&R has suffered in years, but DAYS is finally picking up! I think the main crew members section should be updated, like the directors and breakdown and script writers, half of those people haven't been on lately, I would update them but I can't remember whose on there and whose not, I know I saw Larry Carpenter as one of the directors, Garin and Shelly moved to breakdown once Ron became HW. Categories in user space drafts

I'm currently going through all of the soap opera characters and putting improvement tags on them, because the majority are a mess. I just did so for the Bold and the Beautiful characters and am preparing to do so for Days of our Lives characters. I noticed that you have two drafts in your user space (User:Musicfreak7676/Sonny_Kiriakis and User:Musicfreak7676/Taylor_Walker_(Days of our Lives)). Since these are not in article space, they shouldn't have categories at this time. I don't want to step on your toes and edit them, so would you please remove the categories from the two drafts. I've seen posts where you say disparaging things about Diana Degarmo, Maria Arena Bell, and Catherine Bach off the top of my head. Saying someone sucks or is a bad actress isn't acceptable per Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons#Non-article_space and Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#Behavior_that_is_unacceptable. New Cole Thornhart Pic

I saw you uploaded a new pic of Van as Cole, but the problem is, that new pic is kinda dark, the other pic was brighter even though it was a clip from OLTL, it showed him better in my opinion, was wondering if we could change it back to the other pic? I've uploaded a new image because the rationale on the old one was useless. Images with poor rationales, lack of fair use etc - they can be removed without arguement. I uploaded a new one and put some fair use, file origin info in it. As for the "clutter" - It is just recentism - why list the current actor and not the others? Something special about the current one? Something more important than the other actors that played the character? If people were really interested in removing clutter - they would. Help needed!

Hey! I started a little project in my sandbox, it's a decade page for Y&R: List of The Young and the Restless characters (1990-99). I've been working hard on it, I just spent forever organizing most of the characters from the minor characters page in chronological order from when they joined the show. General Hospital

Regarding this edit [3], I think it's a little bit too early to know if the new opening will features only characters from a particular day's episode. After all, the new opening has only aired once. What if the opening for the other days remain the exact same as the one from today with the same characters?

This more airtime may be for the commercials. I've heard people saying that the show has ended later than it usually does. But the show no longer has a segment that comes directly after the opening. OK first off I don't even know what redundant means ok, 2nd, I'm just trying to update the first line of the Todd Manning article, he's on both shows, I know he's listed on the show below, but come on dude, I'm compromising here, I'm leaving One Life to Live in but also adding General Hospital cuz that is a fictional character that is on General Hospital, I did with Blair Cramer and Starr Manning nobody made a fuss about that, so why are people getting on my butt because I put General Hospital in the first line? I agree with the IP and Musicfreak7676's reasons for reverting the addition of "from General Hospital" in the first sentence of the Todd Manning article due to the General Hospital information already being present lower in the lead. I don't much care if we say these characters are "from One Life to Live and General Hospital," as long as it's not redundant, since saying they are from both shows is a matter of semantics. What I mean by that is...once General Hospital viewers who weren't regular viewers of One Life to Live get used to these characters, these characters will be "from General Hospital" to them.

Also... Musicfreak7676, I reverted your change of the main image because not only do I feel that the previous image (Soapfan2013's image) is better, it is the image everyone agreed (or semi-agreed) on until I upload a better image. I'm unsure AniMate I really do not know. My interactions with Soapfan have been, to say it nicely, bumpy. And even they can admit that. They've used reasons for some things that have not been valid at all. Whether they're a sockpuppet or not, it could be plausible. I don't know enough about the Onelifefreak2007 person. Looking over that user page, there are A LOT of things similar between that user and Soapfan. And if it is a case of sockpuppeting, which it appears it's been confirmed to be, I'm not going to say whether or not to keep or dispose of them. Nope. Holden/Lily images are from photoshoots, so they pertain no logos. And I think for contracted cast members, cast promotional images take hold over screencaptures. I find they're a much more professional look. And aw, thanks. I try! That's all I do, is try! I know some people don't find my photos to be as nice or as good as they should be. But I can't satisfy everyone. I do the best I can. I know my main focus of GL and ATWT. I love those series. I mean it's the same year, so why have it listed twice even though she left and came back, it's still the same year, now I would understand if she was still playing it today and left in a few weeks or so, than you could have it 2010-2011, 2011-2012, but dude she came back and left before the year was over, so it would make sense to have it listed as 2010-2011. Advice about the Lisa Niles fan

Daniel Case has blocked the IP and I have protected the cast list and Lisa Niles. However, I don't think you're dealing with them the right way. Using exclamation marks, bold text, and caps are all ways to express anger. However, when someone is so obsessed with adding something in, we need to think about why. Perhaps this is someone who desperately believes that Lisa Niles will return to GH. My guess is that this is actually someone who is doing this to make you mad. The first time it was probably just simple vandalism, but I really think your reactions are fueling this. There's an essay at WP:Deny recognition you should reed. Another shortcut to it is WP:Do not feed the trolls. By leaving increasingly angry messages for this person, you're feeding them exactly what they crave. Should this crop up again, just leave a final warning with no editorializing. Should they vandalize after that warning, drop a note at WP:AIV or at WP:RFPP to report the user or get the effected articles protected. It's simple. Once you stop getting angry and reacting angrily, this becomes a simple, routine process that's much less fun for the person vandalizing. AniMate 05:17, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

Hey

Apparently my cable company isn't the one that's broadcasting Disney Junior yet, hopefully not for along while, so and I read on the Soapnet article that it's gonna go do an automated schedule, does that mean they are not gonna show new episodes of General Hospital at night now or what? Why would they do that if ABC Family has taken over it's operations? I hope tomorrow I can watch General Hospital on Soapnet cuz if it changes to Disney Junior I'm gonna be ticked off, and I'm sorry about the last message I sent ya, I just typed that subject cuz I didn't know what to put in the headline you know, sorry if you took it the wrong way. Infobox image sizes change

Hey Musicfreak, I just went to the soap opera infobox talk page and the Soap Project page to offer my take in the lack of consensus for changing the image sizes. I am very discouraged about how it was changed BEFORE a conversation took place. Just because 2-3 editors took part in it does not mean the sizes should be changed from 240px to 200px - which is incredibly too small. It was astonishing that the change was made so quickly without anyone discussing the matter or at the very least being warned about the change in advance.Casanova88 (talk) 16:17, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

My exact point that was made. I'm just now making main images for the current portrayer bigger. The reason given? It's how it is done on the Info box 2 template for UK/AU soaps, which don't even get me started on. I'm trying to get it over-ridden. Infobox 1 was made for US soaps, infobox 2 was made for UK soaps. There is a difference because that was what was decided. One editor initiated the change, then another posted the comment in the talk page, then it was done without blinking an eye and no one even knowing that the issue was even brought up. THAT'S EXACTLY MY POINT! I understand making the colour uniform, but image sizes too? This is why I'm trying to make a third info box to single out the other two. It wasn't made for US soaps at all. Infobox 2 appeared after WP:EE adopted it for use in the articles - it was sucessful too. Then it was adopted by other UK soap projects, Australian ones, New Zealand. The common theme is that US use the first infobox (My view: because it fits fandom intentions) - that isn't mandatory though. If "no one knew" about the proposal then it is on their head. Raintheone, the reason why no one knew was that the change was made before a proper discussion and only then did editors realize the change. Bottom line is that these separate infoboxes are used and there was no issue raised until your proposal. I am not saying that it should have been left alone but since you began the discussion, proper time should have been given to discuss the matter and solidify the differentiation between the infoboxes. Hey!! I was just wondering if you knew anything cuz I wanted to add this new Carmine character to the 2012 Y&R character page, but there's zero info on him anywhere. Would you possibly know or heard something about who portrays him or his casting info?? Because if he's going to be on for a few episodes I feel he should be added to the 2012 page. Let me know. The casting is Marco Drapper. And I believe it's only a temporary role. Nothing too serious. I don't know much about the role since SOD/SID never reported the casting. I've heard nothing pertaining to Chelsea's paternity and I won't until the show. I don't look at spoilers and not really invested in Y&R anymore. Nikki is about the only thing I love about Y&R right now, even if she isn't a current lush. And Arre, you aren't missing much on B&B other than the silver anniversary show. I'm starting a new page for Caroline Spencer, who is not a junior despite other's objections. And DAYS owns my heart right now. Everything about that show is pure soap opera!
