Disambiguation link notification for January 30
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited I (Jaejoong album), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Korean (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:Y (Jaejoong album).jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Y (Jaejoong album).jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:05, 7 March 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Y (Jaejoong album).jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Y (Jaejoong album).jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Michaela den (talk) 11:56, 11 May 2013 (UTC)
- I disagree with your opinion that the image should be deleted on the basis that it fails WP:NFCCP#8 as per WP:NFCI. WP:NFCCP#8 consists of the following clause:
-
- 8. Contextual significance. Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding.
- And WP:NFCI has the following criterion pertaining to cover art:
-
- 1. Cover art: Cover art from various items, for visual identification only in the context of critical commentary of that item (not for identification without critical commentary).[1]
- This image is the album cover of the repackage version of the album, and serves as its sole means of identification. The article in which the image is used is the article for both the original album and the repackage album, and describes both albums in detail. It is also the only article for the repackage album, as it is the convention of such articles to describe both the original and repackage albums in the same article. Therefore, this image implicitly satisfies the "contextual significance" NFCC criterion (NFCC#8) and should not be subjected to deletion. --Lareine (talk) 19:40, 12 May 2013 (UTC)
