Disambiguation link notification for April 7
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Indian. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

[edit] Please refrain from making nonconstructive edits as you did with ITV News at Ten. The presenters are listed the main separated from the relief and former. That is the way they are credited on screen and on the ITV website. This is the way the should be listed acc. to the MOS:TV. If you do not agree please take the subject to WT:TV.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Is there a reason?
[edit]is there a reason that you made this edit http://en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=Saath_Nibhaana_Saathiya&curid=35624254&diff=692111365&oldid=692108000 ? It would appear to me that the dates of participation in a long running program would be encyclopedic data that we would want to include.-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 23:32, 23 November 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Hello I noticed you reverted my edit several time on Good Morning Britain article, regarding the infobox. May I please bring your attention to the MOS:TV. This states that the cast/presenters of a program must be listed in the infobox. From main presenters when it first started and any future main presenters will be added to the end of the list. When the show started off the main guys were Reid/Shepard/Hawkins/Fletcher, Just recently Morgan & Garaway got main presenter roles. And Fletcher and Hawkins are no longer main presenters. But that does not mean they do be removed from the list. This happens with a lot of TV shows and a common mistake made on Wikipedia. I don't mean to sound arrogant when I say this but the was I have it done is correct. Thank You -- JohnGormleyJG (✉) 21:43, 10 December 2015 (UTC) -- JohnGormleyJG (✉) 21:43, 10 December 2015 (UTC)
Follow Up, It was not your edit I was reverting. Another editor removed some of the presenters from the infobox. However your edit still contained those changes so I had to restore the last viable option. -- JohnGormleyJG (✉) 23:35, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

The file File:Alastair Burnet 1991.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
WP:DECORATIVE use of a non-free screen shot in ITV News at Ten#1967 to 1999: the original run. The reader does not need to see a non-free image to understand that Burnet once hosted the program per WP:FREER, and there is really no sourced critical commentary of the screenshot itself to provide the context for non-free use required by WP:NFCC#8
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:15, 1 August 2018 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Irene Mawela profile 2017.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Irene Mawela profile 2017.jpg, which you've attributed to MutendiPhotography. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{permission pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. Here is a list of your uploads. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F11 of the criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 04:38, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
