Spam
[edit]Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. —Khoikhoi 02:19, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
Friendly warning
[edit]If you continue to add External links to eoearth.org at the rate you're going, someone is going to remove them all. I would urge you to slow down, pick the articles you add links to carefully (add them to articles where our coverage is weak), and, above all, add some content to some of our articles. I think your project is worthwhile, but what you're doing really is spam. Please read our external links policy and especially How not to be a spammer. And good luck. -- Mwanner | Talk 12:43, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- Please stop adding commercial or personal-website links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming, and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising. Thanks. —Khoikhoi 23:15, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
- No problem—even if they aren't commercial, Wikipedia articles grow when content is added to them, not external links. :) —Khoikhoi 03:18, 23 September 2006 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue spamming you will be blocked from editing. Khoikhoi 20:35, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, but you've also been advertising ([1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]) your website... Khoikhoi 02:35, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
