Welcome!

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as User:Kipzock, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I nominated this page for speedy due to it being "Blatant and obvious misinformation". check your edit count vs the edits required for this award. WuhWuzDat 04:09, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Stop messing with my userspace! Nobody is misleading anybody! There are no main space edits from this account yet. WP:Service Award is self awarded on self assessment. Read the policy, please. Kipzock (talk) 21:58, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Service awards

[edit]

Please do not display Wikipedia service awards that you are not yet entitled to use. SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:32, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What is this some kind of bureaucracy here? Kipzock (talk) 09:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User Name

[edit]

Come, let us reason together. The name which you have chosen is a title in wikipedia, certainly self-administered and pehaps a little informal; bit it is highly regarded as an award and it really does appear that there are a number of experienced admins who are not happy with your use of it. Why not just change your name and edit happily and peacefully here? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 21:52, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That would be good start doing some main space edits, at the moment I seem to be caught up with fighting the blatant vandalism on my page. Re: "experienced admins"? Pages are randomly deleted within less then 24 hours. Jumbo and co who display this award are fine to do this? What is this all about? Kipzock (talk) 09:40, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Objection to template and misuses of administrator privileges

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, such as User:Kipzock, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. WuhWuzDat 13:21, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What article? Please stop this harassment by misusing Speedy deletion. Kipzock (talk) 13:34, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning you will receive regarding your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as User:Kipzock/userpage, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. If your only purpose on wikipedia is to display this inane, unearned template, why not print out a copy, and make a t shirt out of it? WuhWuzDat 15:08, 7 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re: "Insane template" Yes your objection to this template elsewhere has been noted. There is no reason for this harassment, only your objection to this template is likely to fail. See Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2010_August_1#Template:Kipzock. If you continue this behavior, I will report these incidents and those who misuses administrator their privileges. Kipzock (talk) 15:58, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Inane", not "Insane". WuhWuzDat 16:29, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why is everyone so anxious to get these deleted as hoaxes? Anyone who knows the levels of awards will know that no one can use that, and anyone who doesn't know won't know what it means. If the template is deleted, well, fine, but arguments that it shouldn't be used should have to do with the template, not the user--either delete it, or put something on WP:SVC saying you shouldn't use it, and refer to that. I also don't think {{db-hoax}} applies to these--that works off of G3, which is for vandalism only, as {{db-hoax}} says, it should only be used when the hoax constitutes vandalism. This may be disruptive, but not vandalism. dffgd talk·edits 19:24, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate claims

[edit]

Do you really not understand what various editors and admins are saying? You will not be allowed to make inaccurate claims about your editing experience, either on your user page or anywhere else. The admins who have deleted and protected your user page are not vandalising, they are protecting the integrity and credibility of wikipedia. Please go and make sensible edits in article space. In the fullness of time you will then be able to make realistic claims, which is surely what you want? --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 20:58, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See what I said above--find me something that contradicts that, and I'll go away and leave this situation alone. dffgd talk·edits 22:09, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I see what you said and i do not agree with it. Please help us to encourage this user to edit productively; please do not post comments which may encourage him to make baseless claims. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:12, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not encouraging the creation of those pages, nor am I saying the pages shouldn't be deleted, I'm just saying that in my opinion, G3-hoax isn't an appropriate reason, and this certainly seems to be at least trying to put a penalty/punishment, contradicting WP:SVC. dffgd talk·edits 22:18, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No, I'm sorry. He is not blocked, banned or topic banned; nor is he threatened with any of these sanctions. He is merely prevented from telling a gross untruth regarding his experience on his user page. No penalty, no punishment. And a valid definition of a hoax would be the deliberate posting of a statement, article or page known to be untrue. --Anthony.bradbury"talk" 22:26, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Replying here. dffgd talk·edits 22:35, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An English translation of this would be most helpful. WuhWuzDat 21:37, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That text is in Latin, and it's all over google. It appears to be a template... can you tell us who originally wrote it? - because it might be copyrighted. Magog the Ogre (talk) 21:22, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In the public domain; no copy right: Lorem ipsum. Kipzock (talk) 21:52, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am happy to note that you can quote Cicero, and would concede that after two millenia copyright is extinct! Now that you have that off your chest, why not apply some of your very obvious skills to improving the encyclopedia?--Anthony Bradbury"talk" 17:10, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your continuing interest! I'll keep you posted about future developments. Best, Kipzock (talk) 02:03, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My continuing interest is in the encyclopedia, not in your no-doubt-worthy self. Do not bother to keep me posted; just edit, or not, as you wish. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 19:55, 18 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
