"1996" was actually a typo for "1986" - thanks for pointing the mistake out! -- Arvind 22:00, 14 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Growing Earth Theory

[edit]

Thank you for supporting the article in the AfD. As relatively new to Wikipedia, it's nice to see the due process bear such good results. MichaelNetzer 01:01, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OSI

[edit]

Please see my response. It's quite possible a prop might have said one thing in an early episode, but it was the same thing in Star Trek when the creators had the Enterprise working for one agency, then changed the name after a few episodes -- and it even happened to Kirk's middle initial. Since Cyborg originally had Austin working for the OSO (Office of Strategic Information, according to Caidin's novel) it's possible there was a transitional use of "Scientific" in one early episode. But i contend that it was clearly identified as "Strategic Intelligence" thereafter ... much like Austin's boss was Oliver Spencer in the first movie, but Oscar Goldman thereafter (and the series retconned things to make them the same person per the opening credits of Wine Women & War). 23skidoo 04:34, 11 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spanish Eddie

[edit]

I left a comment on the talk page for the article about the Hoe Avenue peace meeting regarding the possibility that Eduardo Vincenti is the same "Spanish Eddie" as the one in the Laura Brannigan song. You might find that of interest. it took me quite some time with Google books to come up with anything but I think you are right. I added some references to the article.LiPollis (talk) 06:39, 25 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
