- in the prelude to the book[ SIRAPPU PAYIRAM] PANAMPARANAR , a supposed to be co -student of THOLKAPPIAR has described him to be a a man well versed in the mythological grammar book of sanskrit [ or is it real] AINDIRAM. This may point to the BRAHMNICAL ORIGIN OF TOLKAPPIAR.Who else can read a sanskrit rammar book but for a brahmin . and the prelude goes on to add that the book was written and executed [ ARABGETRAM] in an assembly headed by a a man [ brahmin , parpanan ] well versed and had the right to teacjh the four vedas of sanskrit . so very likely tholkappiyar was a sansnkrit brahmin[ vadamozhi parpanan]

i was really surprised to find that above contribution of mine has bee edited out . i wonder why each word is is there in nachinarkkiniyars urai as published in TAMIL VIRTUAL UNIVERSITY . in fact i have been giving only a sanitised version of the real thing .

but WHY CUT IT OUT ? IS WIKIPEDIA ONLY FOR BRAHMINS /
