Your account has been blocked indefinitely because it is being used only for vandalism. Furthermore, your username is a blatant violation of our username policy, meaning that it is profane, threatens, attacks or impersonates another person, or suggests that your intention is not to contribute to the encyclopedia. Please see our blocking and username policies for more information.

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, but users are not allowed to edit with accounts that have inappropriate usernames, and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you believe that this block was incorrect or made in error, or would otherwise like to explain why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the following text to the bottom of your user talk page: {{unblock-un|new username|your reason here ~~~~}} Beeblebrox (talk) 16:02, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

My username is actually romanized from words in the Lakota language, "Jarf" and "Artpee". I see how it looks inappropriate from an English perspective. So I requested a new username Jarfartpee (talk) 16:07, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accept reason:

Your account is renamed. Welcome back! :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 16:16, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The username you chose appears to be available, and it's acceptable per Wikipedia's username policy - thank you for understanding and for taking the time to choose a new one. I'm going to change your username and then unblock you momentarily - just stand by for a few minutes while I get that done for you...
IMPORTANT NOTE: This operation, as part of the user rename process, will purge all active sessions for your account while the username change is being deployed to Wikimedia's servers. This will cause you to be automatically logged out of your account. When this happens, all you need to do is simply log back into your account in order to continue. Remember to enter your new username into the account sign-in page when signing back in - don't use your old one. Otherwise, if you try logging back in with your old username, you'll be given an "invalid username or password" error, since your old username won't exist anymore - it's been renamed to your new one. :-) ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 16:15, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
