AfD nomination of Mace and Nightshade
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Mace and Nightshade. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mace and Nightshade. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it, but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:15, 16 February 2010 (UTC)

Adminship
[edit]You don't need admin tools to fix typos. With a grand total of 102 edits, you simply do not have the experience needed for adminship. I suggest you place {{db-g7}} on the request, as it has no chance of succeeding, although I applaud your enthusiasm and hope that you continue to help improve Wikipedia. Thanks, --Σ talkcontribs 02:35, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Hello, JediMaster362. I noticed you, or another editor created a Requests for Adminship page under your name, and I was wondering as to what the status of that request might be. Please note that new users are rarely successful at RfA and that the Wikipedia editing community sets an extremely high bar for potential administrator candidates. That being said, I strongly urge you to read Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship, Wikipedia:Adminship is not for new users, and Wikipedia:Not now, and ask you to reconsider whether you really do wish to go through with your candidacy; please understand that you stand very little to no chance of passing RfA at this point and that you are strongly discouraged from running for adminship. If you are still intent on running for adminship with that request and are absolutely positive this is what you want, please do let me know; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete the RfA page for you in about a week or so from today. - You don't need to be an admin to remove spam. You can just edit the page and delete the spam links! :) Cheers! Reaper Eternal (talk) 13:35, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, with only 114 edits, your chances at passing an RfA are very slim. Users who participate in !voting in RfAs like to see at least 4,000 edits in order to be able to accurately gauge a candidate's readiness. I would suggest that you withdraw from running at this time, but since it is entirely your decision, you can choose to ignore my advice and run anyway. If so, you will need to transclude your RfA at WP:RFA by following the instructions at WP:RFA/N. Eagles 24/7 sock (C) 16:05, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Punctuation fixes
[edit]I just wanted to respond to the comment you left in your edit summary on this edit. First, relax a little—not everyone has perfect grammar or punctuation, so when you see such errors on WP, just correct them and explain why. There's no need to get angry at others. But, beyond that, I did have to revert your edits, because they you didn't notice is that that missing commas were inside quotations. We don't change quotations, even if they have "errors". As a side note, the rule about commas after introductory phrases is not as absolutely true as you claim, because different styles of writing have different rules about how to use commas. For example, people from the UK use far fewer commas that from the US, and journalists everywhere often leave out commas that other styles "require". Qwyrxian (talk) 22:59, 21 November 2012 (UTC) I apologize for any inconvenience I caused. I get frustrated when I see an article full of punctuation errors. I dolove this website, as it is always educational. And, I do not joke when I say that every time I come up here, I stumble upon missing commas. Today appears to be the motherlode. I will work on being more civil when editing.
I will withhold temptations to change any mis-punctuated quotations. Again, I apologize for my enraged behaviour. Today was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back, let's just say. --Hacker1 (talk) 03:02, 22 November 2012 (UTC).
