[edit]

The person with the above IP (sockpuppet?) seems to be trying to mock the NPOV principles of wikipedia? --Sikh-history (talk) 13:44, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, there was a person with a similar IP http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User_talk:90.192.59.194 who kept vandalising my page in May. Is this the same person?--Sikh-history (talk) 10:15, 6 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Assessement

[edit]

Respected Sir, I had submitted articles of some Sikh personalities for assessment at Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Assessment#Requesting an assessment and wiki AdministratorUser:Kensplanet has advised me to restructure the same in sections. For example, Sukhdev Singh Babbar should have sections similar to Sukhdev Singh Sukha like Early life, Assasinations etc.... Since you have interest in Sikh history as well, so I thought to request you to help me with this task please. Also it will give you an opportunity to read these articles. I believe that articles are already perfect and duly referenced, only restructuring with sub-sections is required. You can refer to article names at Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Assessment#Requesting an assessment--Singh6 (talk) 16:12, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

illegitimate Sockpuppet Issue

[edit]

I request the other two editors (who have been falsely tagged with me as sockpuppets) to disclose their locations. I am trying to find out the reason behind this illegitimate block. My own information is as follows:

  • I am a Sikh of Polish origin, I have lived in state of Punjab, India untill 1990.
  • I now live in SFO-Bay Area in state of California, USA where a large concentration of Sikh population live.
  • I have started editing wikipedia in the year of 2008 only.
  • I have always used my corporate internet facility (means a shared IP) while reading/editing wikpedia. My employer name start with letter "A". If any of you have ever used this employer's shared IPs, then it could have been used as an excuse to force this illegitimate block by an Indian Admin.

Do you guys share any of the information mentioned above?. Please leave the answers in your talk pages or please feel free to email me (by clicking "E-mail this user" in the left pane of this wikipedia talk page)

I have always tried to be fair in my edits but it appears that some Indian Administrator has used his muscle power to silence the editors who have tried to oppose deletion of important information from Sukhdev Singh Babbar, a well known anti-Indian leader.--Irek Biernat (talk) 01:00, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, you are not required to disclose your personal information in this way. It is against Wikipedia policies to ask or force somebody to compromise their personal information and/or identity. I suggest you take this issue to Administrator's noticeboard. I understand that being blocked in such way you may not be able to make any request at Admins Noticeboard as well but you may be able to edit from other IP which is not blocked and file your concerns. If you are true and have been blocked wrongly its a sad affair and needs to be fixed soon. Regards, --RoadAhead =Discuss= 08:22, 29 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Roadahead. I will try following your advise. I was not aware about this personal information issue. I simply wanted to get information about other two victims so that I could find out the reasing behind this happening. --Irek Biernat (talk) 23:47, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I definitely want to oppose this illegtimate sockpuppet issue. How can I find information about Administrator Noticeboard. Do you have some link for that ? Please. --Irek Biernat (talk) 02:51, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, if you are right and feel you have been wrongly blocked under insufficient proof, then you can file your objection with proofs at Administrators Noticeboard here. I'm sure somebody will look into the issue. --RoadAhead =Discuss= 17:00, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
