- Hi there,
- according to a consensus a few years ago Box-Office India was chosen by the editors then to be the primary source for BO Collections in India. Box-officeindia.com might lack the shine and shimmer of some others out there but it actually provides some accurate figures. The reason for saying so - Box office India has no affiliation to any films for example DNA (Chennai Express), Koimoi (Chennai Express), BH are marketing partners for new films and they get paid for publishing over-the-top figures for increasing the buzz and in the end Boxoffice collections. Proof - the site's appearance, had it taken promotional duty from films the site would have looked like Manhattan and by now reached the top. Now I understand your frustration Boxoffice collection reports low collections for the film you love! Sometimes I do get irritated at this too but I just leave to others then! If its any consolation Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been declared a 100-crore film by BOI too! Cheer up mate and ALWAYS use Boxofficeindia.com and not .co.in

- Injun Gone Loco, not for once I said that Pleasant (Now:Jionpedia) was right and by number of edit counts I was referring to you as a new editor. The discussion at my talk page is not the real consensus. To be true I don't know where it is. Your point seems to be valid and I support it to a fair extent. Contact an experienced editor for eg. (Tito) who might have been around when the consensus took place. Be pretty sure that you have a valid reasoning for changing the consensus and read those two links I gave you or otherwise be ready to be panned by editors since they will be god-damn angry if in the end they realise their time got wasted. You might also lose your reputation as an editor. Since your talking about updated figures, the figures of Chennai Express and OUATIMD get updated weekly. ☸ 07:14, 1 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username, "Injun Gone Loco", may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because it contains a racial slur. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. I am extending the courtesy of offering to discuss this since you have been here a while, but I have to tell you this name is simply not acceptable. We do not allow anyone to use racial slurs in their usernames here. Beeblebrox (talk) 00:33, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
Where is the slur ?
[edit]There is no race mentioned here, what slur ? There is a play on the words Engine and Locomotive, where did race come into this ? Injun Gone Loco (talk) 05:41, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.
A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account.
You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Beeblebrox (talk) 08:04, 23 November 2013 (UTC)- I suppose there is an extreme outside chance that you honestly had no idea. In that case I would inform you that "Injun" is an extremely derogatory term for Native Americans and that loco is Spanish for "crazy." Knowing that, I am sure you could see how your name seems more likely to actually mean "Native American gone crazy" than "engine gone locomotive." What an unfortunate misunderstanding, I am glad we had this opportunity to resolve it. Beeblebrox (talk) 08:20, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- "We" -there is only unilaterism at work here- this is not resolution and there is no we, I see throwing one's weight around is not restricted to the real world. Injun Gone Loco (talk) 14:19, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- You are welcome to post an unblock request if you feel you are being treated unfairly. Details on how to do so are included in the block notice above. Beeblebrox (talk) 14:21, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- "We" -there is only unilaterism at work here- this is not resolution and there is no we, I see throwing one's weight around is not restricted to the real world. Injun Gone Loco (talk) 14:19, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- I did not know Injun is a derogatory term, I though wikipedia also states "assume good faith", you could have explained how the term can be misconstrued before looking at a block, but like I said, I guess you have the rights and will use them the way you feel fit, rules and guidelines are obviously for the ones without rights.I have put in the change of username format too, are you not supposed to do the unblocking to allow me to move for a username change ? Injun Gone Loco (talk) 14:30, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- Normally block appeals are reviewed by a separate admin than the one who issued the block. If you are looking for a rule that backs up this particular administrative action I would direct you to Wikipedia:Username policy#Disruptive or offensive usernames. The word "Injun" has only one meaning in the English language, and that meaning is in fact a highly offensive racial slur. How you came up with that particular word without having any idea what it its one and only meaning is is somewhat hard for me to comprehend.
- If one weighs the possibility of slightly inconveniencing you by requiring you to select a new username that does not contain a racial slur against the offense your username would cause to millions of people from the dozens of cultures making up the Indigenous peoples of the Americas the math is pretty simple. If, after you chose a n acceptable new username and are unblocked you would like to lobby for your right to change back to a username containing an obvious racial slur that you claim you were somehow ignorant of you are welcome to do that at he appropriate noticeboard. Good luck with that. Beeblebrox (talk) 14:49, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
- I have said I did not know the negative connotations of the word, and since you mentioned it ( after blocking) there has been no attempt to justify it or argue that I am right in doing so, my only point has been that if you had posted the explanation upfront in your first post, there would have been no discussions and it would have been a resolution and not a unilateral enforcement, blocking was not required, and it would have wasted less of everyone's time.
- On top of it edits were made assuming motives and even now the comments above are suggesting even more actions which I have not even talked about, that and the edit summary comment( ok lets play that game) are made showing that there is no attempt to assume good faith.
- I have asked for a name change and I have not argued about keeping the name since the explanation was posted and yet you continue to attempt to discuss the issue as if I am trying to retain the name, as well as are trying to make loaded statements- I am not "claiming" that I did not know about the negativity of the word, I am "saying" it and there is no action I have done that can lead anyone to believe anything else, and there is no reason for you to suggest so. Unconstructive editing
[edit]Hi there, the net result of these edits of yours do not appear constructive to me. You removed content without providing explanations, and in one case your edits corrupted a Hindustan Times reference, removing not only the bulk of the original URL, but links to the archived version as well. Sloppy editing is disruptive. Please explain your changes by using edit summaries and please double-check your work by clicking Show preview and Show changes before committing your changes to articles. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 02:02, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, a little eye for details of checking the references shows that they are not related to the claims made, there is no detail give for the claim "this is the highest selling album". Further social service related claims have references that make no mention of the service provided by the Dera- those were the links deleted along with the claims. Engine Gone Loco (talk) 08:27, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
- My note isn't about Highway Love Charger, it's about content you silently removed from Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and a butchered Hindustan Times reference that came out of your changes. You removed a detail about when his disaster relief program was established, and his anti-cow slaughter stance. Both would be intuitive aspects of a section on Social work. As for the reference, your changes turned this:
- <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/WestBengal/Devastating-fire-breaks-out-in-Darjeeling-market/Article1-843339.aspx |title=Archived copy |accessdate=20 April 2012 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120422230736/http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-news/WestBengal/Devastating-fire-breaks-out-in-Darjeeling-market/Article1-843339.aspx |archivedate=22 April 2012 }}</ref>
- into this:
- <ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.hindustantimes.com/India-</ref>
- "A little eye for details" would presumably have prevented this. Please double-check your work, and please use edit summaries to explain your changes so that other editors understand your rationale for the changes you've made. This is common practice for editors. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:58, 28 August 2017 (UTC)

As for the reference, your changes turned this:
- There were no references given to the date of start of the disaster relief program, it was just a claim, further cow slaughter is not quite a "social service" in the context of humans being lynched in India over eating beef, so no it does not quite serve as social service but more an attempt to be politically correct with the people in power, and the attempt was to remove the Hindustan times reference all together as the reference had no details of the Dera's relief team doing any work in Darjeeling, this was a mobile edit which did not allow for full screen functionality and hampered editing which made it difficult to edit, which caused making comments on the change to be quite a challenge. Mobile edits are tagged as such in the history, as is past editing records with comments. Engine Gone Loco (talk) 18:53, 28 August 2017 (UTC)
