[edit]You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.
Please also note that you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87".If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page.
You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text
{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.
Thank you. Cabayi (talk) 09:55, 21 July 2021 (UTC)—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IIMT College of management moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, IIMT College of management, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Welcome!
[edit]Hello, IIMTian, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.
To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}}
before the question. Again, welcome! McMatter (talk)/(contrib) 05:59, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

I have added a university wiki page link to help the users at Ganga Nagar, Meerut wiki page. This is not a paid contribution. I am employee of sister concern organization located at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
Decline reason:
If you have any paid relationship with a subject of your edits, you are a paid editor. You don't have to be specifically paid for your edits or specifically directed to edit. 331dot (talk) 09:29, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Terms_of_use/FAQ_on_paid_contributions_without_disclosure#Does_this_provision_apply_to_me_if_I_am_simply_editing_or_uploading_as_an_unpaid_volunteer? How does this provision affect teachers, professors, and employees of galleries, libraries, archives, and museums ("GLAM")? For example, if a professor at University X is paid directly by University X to write about that university on Wikipedia, the professor needs to disclose that the contribution is compensated. There is a direct quid pro quo exchange: money for edits. However, if that professor is simply paid a salary for teaching and conducting research, and is only encouraged by their university to contribute generally without more specific instruction, that professor does not need to disclose their affiliation with the university.
I previously also stated that 'I have added a university wiki page link at Ganga Nagar, Meerut wiki page just to help the users.'
I am an Assistant professor at sister concern "IIMT Group of Colleges, Greater Noida" and not paid for any contributions on wikipedia.
As per the above FAQ, the person who is not paid for any specific edit or contribution need not to comply with the disclosure provision.
Hence I request you to uplift the ban on my account.

You have misinterpreted those guidelines. When they say 'contribute generally', they mean 'contribute to the project about general subjects'. In other words, if you are a professor of geology, you can contribute to our articles about geology without disclosing your connection (I would positively encourage it!). On the other hand, if you are editing about the organisation that employs you, or an affiliated organisation, you are expected to abide by the paid editing guidelines. That is not to say that you can't edit about your employer, but you need to make it clear that you are affiliated with them, and to follow the general guidance at WP:COI.
