Jennifer Rae Beck
Hello and Thank you for considering my article! I think I have made the necessary changes. Will you please look at it again? Thank you so much. Best, Jennifer — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jenniferraebeck (talk • contribs) 23:45, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
- Hi, You still have not added any references to the article. All articles should pass the General Notability Guidelines to be on WIkipedia. This is done by providing reliable, third party sources to articles, usually as inline citations (See WP:REFB on how to do this]]
- Only if your article has references will it have the possibility of being accepted.- Happysailor (Talk) 15:34, 19 October 2011 (UTC)

Jesus and Mary School
Hello, I was trying to work on the article entitled Jesus and Mary School - Rabweh, Cornet Chehwan. I want my institution to be posted on Wikipedia. If you may kindly clarify two points: 1- Am I on the right track by posting it as an article or should I post it under a different category? 2- Concerning the references, I have to cite the school staff. Actually the information provided was worked on by different teams in the school who have worked for a period of time to finally come up with the information I have written in the article. Thank you in advance Joannamoawad (talk) 08:51, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
- In reponse to your questions: 1) Any article must prove it's notability with references. 2) School staff are not valid sources for referenecs. reerences should be from reliable, third party sources. - Happysailor (Talk) 20:36, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

you just flagged something I am trying to make... and it isnt a hoax. I am new at making these and I have just started the learning process. is there anyway you could take that quick delete off?? — Preceding unsigned comment added by RF0520 (talk • contribs) 19:57, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
- I have changed the reason for the tag as I can see its not a hoax, however you need to add more content & references to the article to make it suitable for Wikipedia. Please see WP:FIRST and WP:42 - Happysailor (Talk) 20:04, 13 January 2012 (UTC)

Thank You! I added the references. Maurinu (talk) 20:39, 13 January 2012 (UTC) |
- I saw, Good Job! & thanks for the barnstar. In future, you can always create articles in your own userspace (i.e. User:Maurinu/Sandbox) before putting them in article space if you need to work on them a bit - This would stop tags being placed on your articles with the possibility of them being deleted. - Happysailor (Talk) 20:41, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
"primary sources" tag on Samuel "Mouli" Cohen article
Hi Happysailor - you put a "primary sources" tag on the page Samuel "Mouli" Cohen regarding links to personal references. While I included some of those references for background information details, the majority of references are from true independent 3rd party sources, including the San Francisco Chronicle and the US Department of Justice. Please read the article and consider removing the tag. I think you'll see that it's in no way a self-promoting article. Thanks, Ellis408 (talk) 17:04, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, the tag doesnt mean that hes self-promoting, but that there are sources which are primary sources (i.e. self-published) such as his website, and his Linkin profile. Also, I dont see any references from the San Francisco Chronicle and the US Department of Justice on that page? - Happysailor (Talk) 20:22, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- Hi - it seems that we have a upset lurker who has demolished the Mouli Cohen page. If you compare the last edit I did on January 10, it included all these references:
^ Article about Stacy Cohen ^ Cohen's official website ^ Mouli Cohen's LinkedIn page ^ Cohen's official website ^ LinkedIn ^ LinkedIn ^ Listing of Playnet stock certificate showing Cohen's name and title. ^ Overview of Cohen's company affiliations ^ LinkedIn ^ Contra Costa Times ^ San Francisco Chronicle ^ Vending Times ^ Press Release from US Department of Justice ^ San Francisco Chronicle ^ Overview of Cohen legal problems ^ Press Release from US Department of Justice ^ Trial Insider ^ Press Release from US Department of Justice ^ San Francisco Chronicle ^ San Francisco Chronicle
- I would greatly appreciate it if you would revert to my last edit - as this person seems to want to delete any reference to the conviction of Cohen. If you would rather, I will do it. Thanks, Ellis408 (talk) 23:32, 16 January 2012 (UTC)
- I just noticed that the editor who deleted the references and section about legal problems has the same last name as the subject: Dcohen491 - the article needs to be reverted. Now I have reverted all the edits since my last version. Ellis408 (talk) 23:42, 16 January 2012 (UTC)Ellis408 (talk) 23:54, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

- Thanks for the help on Mouli Cohen. Can you also assist me with his picture? File:Mouli Cohen.jpg. It was tagged as not being properly sourced, but it came in a press kit, with no restrictions, and as far as I can see, meets the requirements of the license tag I put on the image. River Berre / Berre (Aude)
Good evening. Although I do understand that, because there's an article about the Étang de Berre, the pages River Berre and Berre (Aude) should logicly redirect to this one, the river Berre, a 52 km-long coastal river in the département of Aude, is not related at all (maybe except in terms of etymology) with the Étang de Berre, which is in the département of Bouches-du-Rhône. The river served as the battlefield, in 737, for one of the last battles in the Islamic invasion of Gaul, and that's why I felt that my edit on the article about River Berre (although I haven't signed in yet) and the creation of the article Berre (Aude) were legitimate. That is also why I put a banner on the article in order to expand it from the article on the French Wikipedia, before it was modified to redirect to the article about the Étang de Berre. Thank you for reading this, and I hopefully think you'll understand my request of undoing the changes you've done. Argueplout (talk) 02:57, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- If it is truly deserving of it's own article, then feel free to change the redirect back to it; however, please ensure it is referenced and ideally should be longer than one short sentence. I suggest you take a look at WP:1ST for info - Happysailor (Talk) 13:46, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
AULeadership Article
Hello, This AULeadership, I thank you for your comments on the article I tried posting. I did my best to match same type of articles about universities, I did not add or reduce, I used them as a sample so the article will be considered genuine and not advertisement. I don't understand why they were accepted and mine not. Please guide me so I can correct it to your standards and it will be available online. Thank you AULeadership (talk) 13:13, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
- When an article contains statements like The mission of American University of Leadership is to... and AUL is unique among private Universities.. which to me scream of self-promotion/advertising. To be enclyclopedic, you need to get rid of the peacock terms and make it factually accurate only. see WP:1ST for help on creating an article. - Happysailor (Talk) 13:42, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
hello thanks for reviewing my article , the reason you gave for rejecting my article was its more of an advertising . I don't quit understand why is the part about "advertising the subject" was given since all what is given is basic information that introduce a journey of an ambition role model from the United Arab Emirates who was known for his achievements on a regional level in the Arab world and that made him worthy of notice and the info I am providing has only listed the these achievements ,but for the citation , maybe it was difficult to link the content with the sites and articles provided since they are mainly written in Arabic but they are considered reliable sources since they all come from well known newspapers in the United Arab Emirates and this is the material provided for the citation , please it would be great if you could review the article one more time thanks again for your kindness I am looking forward hearing from you soon— Preceding unsigned comment added by AUS-student (talk • contribs) 15:38, 4 March 2012 (UTC)

Article Health Food Innovation Management Review
Dear Happy Sailor,
I would like to ask about the review I have made about the program, my only source is their brochure and I tried not to make this promotional content.
Would you mind give me advice in order to support the reliability of the article?
Thank you Fendysusanto61 (talk) 18:37, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- You need to provide reliable, third party sources in order to prove notability. without that, it can;t be on Wikipedia. (See WP:42 and WP:GNG). If all you can find is their brochure, then they are most likely not notable enough to have an article. - Happysailor (Talk) 19:45, 11 March 2012 (UTC)

- You need to place the following text at the top of the page to submit it for review {{subst:AFC submission/submit}}. However, atm you have NO sources on the article. MitOst
Dear Happysailor!
i've seen your name on my talk page. have you checked my article MitOst?
there are no references because it's a translation of the article from german wikipedia. there are no any references also. So what should I do? It's only translation of the existing article. I really need this article to be published.
Best regards, --Bisazza99 (talk) 12:11, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Every article requires significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject in order to prove notability. Without these, it's not suitable for wikipedia (and would get deleted). If you believe it passes the general notability guideline, then you need to prove it by providing references. - Happysailor (Talk) 11:12, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
Dear Happysailor, thank you for your answer! the ukrainian article MitOst (http://uk.wiki.x.io/wiki/MitOst) was submitted without any references. Could you please explain what is the difference between my translation and the ukrainian one. What do you mean reliable source? the web site of MitOst is reliable isn't it? Thank you in advance, --Bisazza99 (talk) 21:00, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
- The difference between the ukrainian article and your submission here on en.wikipedia, is that they are on difference language wikipedias. I don't know how much or well they enforce guidelines on uk.wikipedia as I can't read ukrainian, however here - articles require notability & references. - Theres actually a few things that need to be done to that submission. My fall back is no sources, because if you can provide sources, that should prove notability (WP:NOTE), but the language of the submission is also rather like an advert, so needs to be written more neutral (WP:NPOV) - Happysailor (Talk) 12:31, 20 March 2012 (UTC)

Hi Happysailor. Thanks for the explanation. I cleaned up whatever may appear / read as an advertisement so I would appreciate your review again. As for the external links, I originally just had references without relation to the prose in the article but received feedback to change this (or at least that's how I understood it). So I'm not sure how to format the references at the moment. Thanks in advance. Orit (P.S) I'm not sure where I'm supposed to be replying to your answers at the help desk so I've tried several different locations ;) Didiivancovsky (talk) 14:42, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
- Best thing to do is take a look at WP:CORP and see if it passes the notability check. If it does, then you need to provide sources that prove that (it may be the ones you have, i havn;t checked) Then you can resubmit the article for review again. (Sorry, about to head out. You've just reviewed my artcile about Nikita Online company http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Nikita_Online and declined it because of a lack of reliable references. So my question is how can you verify even the most reliable sources if they are in Russian only? And what should I actually do then to get my article published?
Thank you. Pavel Elchenko (talk) 08:46, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
- Because it's pretty easy to translate russian? The problem with the article, is that out of the three sources:
- Is there official website, so a primary source
- Is a link to a game? site = doesnt establish notability at all (in fact, not sure what that is meant to show unless that's where their games are?)
- Is the russian link, that is an interview with the president of the company - again a primary source and does not show notability.
- You need to provide sources that show notability - See WP:42 & WP:CORP - Happysailor (Talk) 08:56, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
ENAEE (European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education)
Dear Happy Sailor thanks for reviewing my article it has been a very long process....and I don't understand why my article keeps being rejected. Having got the same comments before I then went and found on Wikipedia a similar organisation called ABET and followed their headings, language and tone - but their one is OK and mine is not!! I am at a total loss as to what to do next, and I don't really know what to do....Please can you help me by being a little more specific if you can - I totally understand you are probably very busy and a volunteer also but I am in despair!!! Thanks..... AISBL AISBL (talk) 15:12, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
- The confusion was because you left the existing article that had been declined along witht he new article. I have reverted the review & changed the text to the new text you ahd worked on. It is now back int he queue to be reviewed - howeve rplease double check to ensure the text is correct - Happysailor (Talk) 15:30, 22 March 2012 (UTC)
Oh thanks so much! Sorry about the mess-up! I will double check it again now.AISBL (talk) 15:38, 22 March 2012 (UTC)

StepStone international-update
Dear Happy Sailor,
thanks for reviewing this article:http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/StepStone_International
I changed the article into a more neutral writting. Can you please check if this is enough? Please let me know if the only thing we need to do now is to add references from verifiable sources?
thank you

About Inge Valen
Hi Happysailor. Contested WP:BLPPROD. Your thoughts? --Shirt58 (talk) 11:50, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
- That's fine, you've added a ref which means the blpprod doesn't need to be there any more (though more sources would be good {{=)}) - Happysailor (Talk) 12:12, 31 March 2012 (UTC)
Welcoming Chzzbot to the participants list on AfC!
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Files for upload pages.
A few tips that you might find helpful:
- Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
- The reviewers' talk page is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
- Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
- You might wish to add {{AFC status}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
- Several of our members monitor the #wikipedia-en-help connect IRC channel, and you are welcome to join in to ask Wikipedia-related questions.
- The IRC channel #wikipedia-en-afc connect is used occasionally for internal discussion regarding the Articles for Creation process, and also serves as a recent changes feed, displaying all edits made in the Articles for Creation namespace.
- The help desk is the place where new editors can ask questions about their submissions. You are welcome to help in answering their questions.
Once again, welcome to the project. Mediation4u (talk) 08:27, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
I find the box above useful for AfC quick links. Hope this helps, Mediation4u (talk) 08:27, 2 April 2012 (UTC) editing is fun
- umm, huh?
- I think you've put that on the wrong page. I'm not Chzzbot, and even if I was, it's a bot? I've also been active in WP:WPAFC for over 1 1/2 years! - Happysailor (Talk) 17:20, 2 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the revert
A belated thank you for reverting the vandalism on my user page. I didn't even notice it until today. Now I have to update the vandalism counter! TJRC (talk) 21:54, 5 April 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 7
Hi. When you recently edited TeamWarfare League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Medal of Honor 2 (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:50, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
Help desk template
Following on from the discussion at the reviewer talk page, how about this? To be used when people try and post submissions on the helpdesk? Pol430 talk to me 16:37, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
- Looks ok to me. I'll add it to the edit notice - Happysailor (Talk) 23:12, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
ConfirmAccount extension
Hey :). You're being contacted because you are involved in the ACC process, or participated in the original discussion in '08 about the ConfirmAccount extension. This is a note to let you know that we are seeking opinions on switching this extension on, effectively making the ACC process via the Toolserver redundant. You can read all the details here; I would be very grateful if people would indicate how they feel about the idea :). Thanks! Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 13:15, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
dickhead
i was just requesting a redirect, did i do it wrong?LuciferWildCat (talk) 06:16, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the help
So, what was I doing wrong on the Lbc template? --LarryJeff (talk) 17:24, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- Hey, I thought it was a coding issue initially which is why I reverted it back to the old code temporarily - but all it was, was you had the noinclude tags starting on a new line rather than immediately after the code (on the same line). This was making all the articles using the template randomly start new lines. - Happysailor (Talk) 18:22, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
- Great. I did see where the tag was on the same line in your version. I updated the Lbb template as well. --LarryJeff (talk) 19:01, 3 May 2012 (UTC)
Happysailor,
I have amended my submission http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Balmain_Rugby_Club
& included citation with some newspaper articles as well as links to Wikipedia articles for reference.
Hopefully you can see from those links that it is a legitimate post & you will approve it.

Articles for creation/IdeaWork Studios, Inc.
Hello Happysailor! I have modified the entry for IdeaWork Studios.
It is virtually identical in set up to existing approved agency listings, so I'm hopeful that this meets your/Wiki's criteria! I look forward to your feedback.
Many thanks, --ARouleau (talk) 18:07, 24 May 2012 (UTC)
