Hi and thanks for your pleasant response. The thing about the bifurcated plate is that, as it is 'exercised' //The thing about automotive traffic, large medium and small, passing their masses over this device - more upon request //, each Up and Down motion of the/this bifurcated plate pair is transformed into EM energy because they are connected to an alternator! Existing installs already provide free electricity for all the traffic lights at the adjacent intersections! This comes from Daily Planet. Much obliged ~ Betaclamp (talk) 06:25, 9 January 2011 (UTC)

I have created the boylan page because this particular novelist has secured publishing deals for these written works and wishes to progress well with them and to have his name in the wikipedia archives will help his career. the complete relevence to wikipedia will be explained in due course when the article is finished properly. when i have completed the article you shall see for yourself it is very worthwhile however to do that properly i need a template to work with and if this keeps being deleted i cant do it properly. please restore the page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kevinboylan (talk • contribs) 06:53, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

Please undelete Nahum Neal Bedein entry
I was working on an entry about Nahum Neal Bedein who passed away last week. He was a famous Jerusalem professional, well known for his positive attitude and ability to make people happy.
The first thing I put up was an article by his brother, David Bedein. I got David's permission to use the article, but you tagged it as unauthorized use. This in spite of my posting a notice that David Bedein had granted permission to use the article.
I am still in the process of gathering historical information on Nahum, which will detail his unique life in Jerusalem.
Thank you for your consideration.

Deleted Article?
Hello,
I was creating an article about an innovative company working with Schools and Universities. ScholarChip is a technology company that provides services only to education. I thought it was noteworthy. The article is no different than some of the large corporate articles I've seen before on Wikipedia. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

can't figure out why my article Lauren O'Connell was deleted
I don't know what cross-namespace redirect from mainspace means, so I was hoping you could help me out. Someone else said that my article didn't meet guidelines for musicians and marked it for speedy deletion, but i don't understand how it doesn't meet requirements. She's an unsigned artist so i know she doesn't meet the requirement for releasing an album on a major label or important independent label. But she has been the subject of newspaper articles and articles in Filter Magazine and UK music magazine The Word, which should meet the requirement for multiple non-trivial published works. She was the West Regional winner in the 2010 Mountain Stage Newsong Contest, which is a major competition for independent songwriters and qualifies her for winning or placing in a major music competition. It says that to be notable a musician has to meet at least one of the requirements. Since she meets two and all of the information I put in the article is accurate and verifiable i don't understand why it would be marked for deletion. You seem like you could tell me if I'm doing something wrong in my article and how to straighten it out. Max bemis is pretty cool (talk) 07:18, 13 January 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest, prod deletion of Trollfest
Please consider restoring Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest and Trollfest. If you do so, please remove the deletion tag from File:Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest cover.jpg, which was used in Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest.
You deleted Willkommen Folk Tell Drekka Fest (an album by the band Trollfest) as "A9: Non-notable music by artist with no Wikipedia article". Earlier, another administrator, User:Jmlk17, had deleted the Trollfest article following a prod. I think that Trollfest is probably notable, since it has performed internationally (at least in Germany and Norway) and has released three albums, although I don't know how big the record label is. See http://www.trollfest.com/reviews.html for several reviews of its albums, and http://www.trollfest.com/press.html for interviews. See sco:Trollfest for an article in Scots, which includes links to articles on the band in several other Wikipedias.
I don't have much knowledge about metal bands or Norwegian ones, but I had edited an earlier version of Trollfest, and had uploaded the album cover image. Eastmain (talk • contribs) 05:28, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Regards, JohnCD (talk) 22:58, 17 January 2011 (UTC)
- I'm okay with that. I left a #3 warning because nobody had given him a clear "stop it" notice, though I saw several people have tried to nicely tell him to stop it. I thought I would give him one more chance, but I am in agreement with your block. INS Vishal
GoDo, I notived that you had deleted Talk:INS Vishal before. I wanted to check with you to see if you had also deleted the INS Vishal rticle at the same time, and if it should have been recreated. There's not a lot of content in the article, and it's completely unsourced. Thanks. - BilCat (talk) 01:33, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- No, I had not deleted INS Vishal. My deletion of Talk:INS Vishal was because an IP created it without the article. The orphaned talk page was caught by Aleenf1, who is picks up a lot of them. The article would have to be deleted through the proposed deletion or AfD process, but it would probably be best right now to redirect it to Vikrant class aircraft carrier since most of the information contained in the article is in Vikrant class aircraft carrier with sources. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 05:36, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- OK, thanks. Should I redirect it without going through PROD/AFD first? I'm not quite clear on your suggestion, so I just wanted to clarify that. - BilCat (talk) 06:09, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
- I think I would just redirect it. Most of the information is there. When the lead ship of the class doesn't have an article by itself, it seems odd to have one about the second ship. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:11, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

article deletion
I've read through Wikipedia guidelines but I am still a bit stumped. Wikipedia has an article titled "list of franchises". It seems very odd to me that a franchise should be excluded from this list seemingly for the sole reason of being new. It's a list of franchises. My family is from South Dakota and not a heck of a lot happens back home yet a list of states will surely include SD. People use Wikipedia as a reference source (obviously). Being blackballed from a list we belong on seems unfair.
I'm pretty sure the original text still exists somewhere. If you read it you'll see it's not promotional. The second paragraph I only added because it seemed the article was headed to a "stub" status. I feel I was very careful to avoid anything of an advertising nature.

Thank you for the reply. Fair enough I suppose. The article titled "list of franchises" ought to reflect that particular guideline I think. Not sure what the title should be or if another change is in order but I'll think on it. It just seems to me if you have a list of "somethings" and you're one of those somethings then you ought to be on that list. It's not like we're making up the fact that we're a franchise. Heck I'd be happy to be on the list but then have no article (at least for awhile). Of course, Wikipedia doesn't like that either (which makes sense). I'll noodle on it. In the meantime the article on franchising has some glaring errors as to U.S. franchising. I fixed a little small one but the paragraph on U.S. fracnhising needs a general rewrite. As a new user do you think it's proper for me to do that?

Hi there,
I am writing an article on Goldgenie (a UK-based company). I noticed that it had been deleted previously for G11. I propose submitting the following. Hi there again,
I have recieved feedback from a wikipedian, and would like to post the article Goldgenie. Would it be possible to free up the page? I believe there was a commercial company trying to advertise. Indeed, as far as I can tell it was for a completely different company in Asia.
Obvioulsy, please feel free to make any adjustments, or comment on the article at my user space: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/User:Tompey.

Blake1960 Making Disruptive Edits
Hello,
I've noticed that you are quite good in dealing with new editors making inappropriate and disruptive edits. I thought you might be able to help me in working with Blake1960 to show him the error of his ways. The claims he is making on Chevrolet Volt and Miles per gallon gasoline equivalent are entirely incorrect, but he appears to be adamant in reinserting them any time they are edited out. If you could provide some input into the situation, I promise I will try to "watch and learn." Thanks. Ebikeguy (talk) 06:49, 9 February 2011 (UTC)

HELP SOUGHT: deletion of aarjart, yet large multinationals are allowed own pages?
Hi im new to Wikipedia,
I have often been brought to Wikipedia when searching about information about companies and whether they are legit or not. For example AMD http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Amd, http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Amazon.com http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Ebay
How come it is deemed that large Multi billion $ companies are allowed to have a page on Wikipedia, yet small companies are not allowed a prescence? Do these large companies pay a fee to be on wikipedia?
Would i be allowed to post an entry without any links at all? How can i be able to create a page like AMD, ebay and alike without it being deleted.
Many thanks for your time

Hello,
I have read the "common reasons why I have deleted your article" and I am still confused as to why the article I was working on "Genuine Ken" was deleted. It is a real show that I have no affiliation with. My friends discovered it a few days ago and wanted to make the Wikipedia page for it. As this is the first time we created a page, we tried to make it as accurate and unbiased as possible and are very upset that our contribution was deleted after all our hard work.
Please check out Genuine Ken because it is a great show. http://genuineken.com/

Deletion of Samochvety
Could you please restore article text (if there was something constructive) on a subpage of a Sandbox. I think this band more than just meet WP:Band. They had a Kremlin concerts for example. Unfortunatelly I could find only one source link. The band-leader for his work there in 2007 was awarded with honorary title: People's Artist of Russia (link (in russian)).
Sorry for my English and thanks in advance. 46.0.30.203 (talk) 15:02, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
P.S. The article title (I think) was misspelled. It should be Samotzvety.
- The content was constructive, but very minimal, so is not likely to help you in creating the article. It had the band's name (spelled differently than the article name as "Samocvety"), that the band is Russian, that they play VIA, and that the band was started by Yuriy Malikov, who is related to Dmitriy Malikov (misspelled his name, too). That's it. No discography, no band start date, etc. So I think you are better off creating the article from scratch once you create an account or request that the article be created. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 16:55, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

Hi Godo

- The article was deleted because you did not establish why the company is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. Many of the articles also listed under Bakkwa have also been deleted or proposed to be deleted. The difference between the Mei Wei article and the remaining articles is that either the remaining articles provide some indication of notability or have citations from reliable sources about the company. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:38, 1 March 2011 (UTC)

The Contestant area which you have contributed to the wikipedia entry on Survivor: Redemption Island, is listed in order of contestants being voted out.
As per my previous message which you did not heed. You have still not removed copyright content either by copying information from other websites and then referencing to them still does not change the fact this will effect CBS' TV show by your content.
I have notified wikipedia and Viacom Amusements (CBS Television). I hope they rip the content off the site as you are ruining the TV show for their fanbase.

I am well aware of Wikipedia's common reasons for deletion. However, I believe that wheteher an article fits some of the criterias is fairly subjective. I would greatly appreciate you explaining to me what specific content I need to include to make my page fit your standards. Hello, I saw that you deleted an article on Tanya Hamilton in February 2010. The Tanya Hamilton I am interested in is an African American director. A7
Hi, on Samet Atasoy the text described them as a fictional figure rather than a real one, so I'm not sure the deletion description has the correct rationale (I'm not suggesting re-creation as it looked like a complete hoax to me). Thanks Fæ (talk) 18:27, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- It can go either as A7 or G3. While their "character" may be fictional, it is fairly clear that they are the "character" and it is a vanity article (the use of "legendary" and the long list of adjectives). -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:33, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks for the feedback. I thought about speedy-ing blatant hoax myself, but it's always a little tricky to be sure new articles about fictional characters really are un-verifiable rubbish and I've been caught out in past considering unsourced stubs on things like cryptids. Fæ (talk) 18:42, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- Fictional characters would not be speedy-able under hoax or non-notable person deletion (unless it is way out there), but this was clearly a vanity article masquerading as a fictional character. It just didn't read right. The use of "legendary" was just a non-starter. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:53, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
- No worries, we would not want to leave a great big loop-hole for the banner of fictional characters to hide endless hoaxes or personal attacks and that's where experience and judgement ought to be relied on to close the gap. Nice bingo card. Cheers Fæ (talk) 18:58, 18 March 2011 (UTC)

- The article was deleted because you did not establish why the group is notable enough for inclusion on Wikipedia. The included references either did not mention the group, inferred the group, or was the group's website (which is not a valid reference to establish notability). Please note that the even if those two references stated the group by name (again, they do not), the depth of coverage would be limited. You need to provide additional references should be decide to recreate the article. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:59, 19 March 2011 (UTC)

Due to a breach of user agreements on AlizeHennessy's part- (bad language)- Mr. Hennessy was banned from Ea.com and its titles which included: Tiger woods, Need for speed, Medal of Honor, Burnout, Fight Night, and many other. The ban lasted 2.5 years. AlizeHennessy took the ban and used it to create a name for himself, suddendly there were many other websites emailing him asking him to join their websites, and promising him total freedom of speech.
In November 11, 2008 Call of Duty- World At War was released. AlizeHennessy wrote his own adaptation of the online version and its players in a story he named: CALL OF BOOTY. The catchy name and the witty writing style took the story accross the world and back faster than any of his previous stories.
In 2008, AlizeHennessy launched his own Radio Show in a station he called: '103.7 The Nutt'. The show was the source of a legal battle when the owner of the website that the show was released on, decided to try and steal the ideas and the stories from Mr. Hennessy. With just a phone call to an attorney and proof of hard drive files created long before the show went live, He won the legal battle before it could even reach a court room.
His newest Story Featured in www.gamersbook.com is called: "OFF DUTY BLACK COPS" and its a parody of Call Of Duty Black Ops.. Although, to first time readers the story might seem stereotypical towards african americans... Those who know AlizeHennessy know he is far from being a racist.. He writes bad about every race equally. In an interview he once said: "How could I be racist towards black people?... My Grandfather was black"

improving: Mizzou hydrogen car team
I am writing in regards to the page for Mizzou hydrogen car team. First off can you userfy the page for me. Second can you give me suggestions for what to include to make it relevant for wikipedia. Would things like setting new records or innovative and new approaches to the construction and technology involved be appropriate enough?

The Mizzou hydrogen has been published in many local newspapers and featured on the local news stations. For example here http://www.connectmidmissouri.com/news/story.aspx?id=591297 is video of a local news broadcast. How do I go about incorporating it into the article. Are stories like these in the news sufficient enough for the "notoriety" requirement?

I appreciate your advice and the help you're giving me. After making revisions, what is the process of getting the article re-reviewed or posted in the public space.

Thanks for picking up on the cloned Abdul Hamid article. I only redirected the (now-deleted) article as I did after finding that I couldn't redirect to Abdul Hamid (politician). No idea why I didn't check whether the existing article covered the same topic. Anyway, I was wondering if you could please temporarily send the deleted article (Abdul Hamid (Bangladeshi politician) to my userspace. I'd tidied the referencing in that version and want to do the same in the existing article but I don't want to have to redo it from scratch. I'll have it deleted again as soon as I'm done. Thank you. ClaretAsh (talk) 00:11, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- No problem. =) Instead of restoring, moving, and deleting the article, I copied the last revision into your sandbox. I figured it would be quicker that way. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:16, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

I'm wondering if this user's personal attacks can be revdeleted as they are grossy insulting and disruptive.Jasper Deng (talk) 23:48, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- Which edits in particular? The one on your talk page? While it was certainly uncivil and it was what got him blocked, I'm not sure it is grossly insulting. I've seen a lot worse. There was no vulgarity, name calling, etc. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:55, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, his edit on my talk page. But I agree that it wasn't the worst possible...Jasper Deng (talk) 23:58, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- I don't think it quite qualifies for revision deletion per the criteria. It wasn't nice, for sure, but I think a simple revert is good enough in this case. Now User:Noobbody's edits, that was revdel material. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 00:04, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Deletion Query
Hi gogo dodo, i recently created the wikipedia article for Jordan King. I am having trouble understanding why you removed the page. Jordan King is a major significance to our community. He plays gigs and told us himself that he doesnt want to use myspace for his discography. I turned to wikipedia, it has a friendly user interface and is simply the best way to provide significant information on him. Your reason was "Article about a band, singer, musician, or musical ensemble, which does not indicate the importance or significance of the subject" Can you kindly list your reasons for it not fitting your criteria and not indicating the importance or significance of the subject.
Thanks, Scott Rawlings — Preceding unsigned comment added by Skitzo93 (talk • contribs) 00:17, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- In your community? It has to be notable to the general public. You need to follow WP:MOS, use reliable sources, and show exactly why he is notable. Wikipedia is not a web host and as a fan, I think you may represent a conflict of interest.Jasper Deng (talk) 00:21, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Why?
Why is every article I created deleted in lightning speed. I actually create it for the use of people to read, which is the purpose of the websie. I write a page out of all honesty, out of all belief in an hour and then it is deleted. Its devistating. Reverted personal attack
I reverted a personal attack on your talk page and warned the IP who added it. You may want to consider RevDeleting that as it's very very very very very insulting. The IP may even be a sock of Noobbody.Jasper Deng (talk) 01:14, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
- That isn't a sock of Noobbody, that's somebody else. I won't be revdel'ing it either. I've had a lot worse said to me. It's not a big deal. Thank you for the revert. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:05, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
WQA
There is a content dispute between Materialscientist, C. Fred, and Snakefan55 (the first two users being admins). I reported Snakefan55 on WP:WQA for incivility and edit warring but no one has responded. The page of concern in this dispute is Eastern brown snake. I would like for you to be able intervene as a neutral 3rd-party admin.Jasper Deng (talk) 03:36, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- The incivility is fairly light and he has been warned for that already. As for the edit warring, he probably should been warned and blocked earlier since it is fairly obvious that he is the IP that was making similar edits. However, since you warned him for edit warring, there have been no further edits, so blocking at this time would not be appropriate. On the next revert/similar edit, that might be grounds for a block. As a new user, he might not know what exactly "take it to talk" means, so the next time, you might want to link to the talk page. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 03:51, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

This user should be blocked indefinitely immediately as the username is a blatant violation of the username policy, and this account seems to have no purpose but to defame Fred Nile (where I reverted a disparaging attack by this user).Jasper Deng (talk) 04:57, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- Nevermind, the user has been blocked. Probably the worst username I've ever caught. I censored the username because it's profane.Jasper Deng (talk) 05:02, 26 March 2011 (UTC)
- I've seen much worse. You shouldn't leave these issues that clear cut issues and need immediate response on my talk page. Instead, in this case, you should report the account name to WP:AIV or WP:UAA. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:50, 26 March 2011 (UTC)

...from Mars socks
A rangeblock may be necessary. At least 4 of these socks were blocked in the past few hours.Jasper Deng (talk) 01:31, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- A range block would require knowing what range to block. Only a CheckUser would be able to determine the necessary range. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 01:32, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- So lets create a SPI. However, we need to decide who's the sock master. I think User:Mouse from Mars is the root of all of them.Jasper Deng (talk) 01:33, 28 March 2011 (UTC)
- It doesn't really matter what account is used at this point. Feel free to create the SPI. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 01:35, 28 March 2011 (UTC)

University of Nevada, Reno - Secret Societies
The edits that were done to the "Secret Societies" section was to add a website to The FIVE. The website has been taken down, and is now the same as it was before.
This section should remain as it exists now (without the website for The FIVE), after all it has been like this for months without "notability" being questioned.
