Hi,

Thanks for your message at Talk:John Bourke (politician). John Bourke (politician) was deleted because of the criteria for speedy deletion, which state that an article about a person which does not explain why that person is important will be deleted. For an article about a real person to be included in Wikipedia, it needs to meet the requirements specified at WP:BIO. You also need to cite your sources, which should be reliable.
