Hi Frosty. Jim1138 asked me to cite a source for my edits, so I did. I'm so sorry to make you think I'm spamming, as originally I did not cite a source. My studies for this subject date back some 25 years at the London College of Fashion. My edits relat back many centuries to the old fashion wig-making skills of the Europeans in the 17th Century. I am honestly trying to be accurate without any favor to any business I have in relation to the subject. I'm just passionate about this particular accuracy. Hope you can help as I'm new to Wikipedia and upset by the inaccuracies and hardship in fixing them. LynneWalsh (talk) 10:22, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
- I was mainly confused about the external link you referenced in the section heading, it seemed like it was placed either there as spam or by accident, and because of the warnings you already had I may have assumed the former. Feel free to revert, just take that reference out, not just because it looks like spam but it also breaks the page formatting. 11:22, 29 August 2014 (UTC)
Thank you. I just uploaded it again and hopefully it'll work this time. I put the citing reference in the 'Cite' area instead. Sorry, I'm just new to this. Hopefully will get the hang of it soon:) LynneWalsh (talk) 12:23, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

Yes this is truth, I removed it, because this is full with the Fantasy of so called Mahidevran Fans. Since the series Muhtesem Yüzyil, many storys are written here in wikipedia.
At this time in the Harem was not own Ottoman Cousins who married Ottoman Princes.
Mahidevran is not Ancestress to any living Members of the Ottoman Dynasty.

And not a relative to Mahidevran...

Samiri
Hi, with regards to the article Samri(Islamic figure), i edited the content since the comparison given between Samri (who is despised and cursed in Islamic theology) and Abu Bakr (who is a renowned, respected and esteemed) is not fair. In fact even if we take literary proof as our primary evidence, their is no legitimate base for this argument and no reliable references can be cited for the given argument( that Samri and Abu Bakr are of similar character). On contrary the comparison seems to be made on the behest of personal bias against Abu Bakr, which the author of the article might hold due to his/her' adherence to Shia Branch of Islam, which holds antagonist view towards Abu Bakr. In fact if the author thinks my view is contrary to truth then let him cite reliable reference for such comparision. 50.184.169.113 (talk) 01:57, 6 September 2014 (UTC)
- Ok. First off though, you blanked more than 12 kilobytes worth of article without presenting any reason in the form of an edit summary, so please use these in future. A change involving so much being removed or re-worded also should be discussed on the article's talk page first. Hope this helps. —Frosty ☃ 08:56, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

Question
Hello. Should we report the IP that keeps reverting our edits on KRNV-DT and KRXI-TV? I know that it was the most recent and another, because in my notifications has two diff. IPs. If we don't report them, lets just protect the pages... what do you think? Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 04:16, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
- I'd say not, I really only wanted to see a reason for the removal of content. Also I doubt it's an actual vandal as the sort of vandals that blank entire sections will usually come back and blank other parts of the article. I'll keep an eye on it though. —Frosty ☃ 04:21, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
- Okay. Check the KRNV-DT article. I reverted this IPs edits because 1) they keep removing the former logo, and 2)They keep removing the "Current" staff. There's no point and trying to communicate with them because the just blank their talk page. Corkythehornetfan (Talk) 04:25, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
- That page I'd be inclined to try and get semi-protection because there are multiple IPs and they are removing significant quantities of the article. Can't see the point in reporting the IP's to admins, they seem to be switching too much for that to have any effect. —Frosty ☃ 04:29, 8 September 2014 (UTC)

Edit to the description of Thailand
Hi Frosty, I edited a description of Thailand as it was completely degrading and unnecessary. The text portrayed Thailand as nothing more than a brothel, with inflammatory remarks about the sex industry which are completely subjective, bordering on libelous. The 'information' it contained, particularly the following:
"Although officially illegal, prostitution in Thailand is monitored and regulated by the government..."
is completely incorrect. There is no evidence to back this absurd claim up. The idea that it's regulated despite being illegal...well, the mind boggles.
I simply believed it wasn't appropriate for Wikipedia - as quite frankly, it disgusted me to read such nonsense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.151.35.1 (talk) 07:16, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Alright, do you think it would be best to just remove it all together or if you had a go at trying to reword it so it sounds more neutral? If the former, you need to say what you are doing in an edit summary otherwise it looks like blanking for no reason and it gets reverted. —Frosty ☃ 07:22, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- My personal advice: Give rewording a go, it had a citation so it's probably at least partially true but just in need of tidying up. —Frosty ☃ 07:24, 9 September 2014 (UTC)

Regarding your deletion of a comment of mine
you recently deleted a comment of mine on a page named "Ascension Episcopal School" saying the content I added was not necessary. The entire page is a satire being made by a group of people about a fictitious place based off of a legitimate school. The people and events on the page are fictitious. This satire is being done as part of a project promoting different ways art can be created on the internet, communal art, and literature. It has been difficult maintaining the integrity of the art piece as we develop it when its edits are constantly being removed. Please undo your edit and avoid future edits of this page to maintain the integrity of the artwork. Graphology
I'm sorry I left the edit summary blank. I'm quite new to this, so thank you for informing me about this. I would not agree with your contention that graphology is a psuedo-science and that most empirical studies fail to show its validity. Please do look up the website of the International Graphological Colloquium which has a list of peer-reviewed research studies, most in foreign languages which support its validity - http://www.igc-grapho.net/research-in-graphology. I know you'll point to the Beyerstein book but I strongly advise you to read the book "The Beyerstein Book: A Critical Examination" written by Marcel Matley. It talks about the various drawbacks in Beyerstein's "research" and how he has misunderstood various concepts of graphology. I'm not talking about the graphology in which one stroke means one trait and in which the interpretation does not change. I'm talking about proper scientific graphology in which the whole handwriting is considered and each element is considered in relation to another.

Army Men III removed because
Thank you Frosty for being kind. There is a trademark violation in the article of Army Men with the use of Army Men III using the brand name without permission. I removed this only because it is not a real Army Men game produced with the proper rights and assets permissions. The game itself violates the Army Men trademark title by using it in the name. Since they have not properly obtained the brand name. What is the problem with removing a game that is not even supposed to exist since it did not have the proper permissions before creating the game and releasing it on here. They claim that it's the final installation to the Army Men series when it never got the permission to be so. That is a great reason to remove content that should not be part of the series article on Wikipedia since it's violating that trademark that they don't own the rights to. It's not a official Army Men game let alone the fact a legal game to exist on this Wikipedia article. Army Men III I ask for this to be removed because it is not a real Army Men game produced with the proper rights and assets permissions. The game itself violates the Army Men trademark title by using it in the name. Since they have not properly obtained the brand name. I am asking that removing the game since it is not even supposed to exist since it does not have the proper permissions before creating the game and releasing it on Wikipedia. They claim that it's the final installation to the Army Men series when it never got the permission to be so. These are some reasons I ask for the removal of this games content that should not be part of the series article on Wikipedia. Since it's violating the trademarked brand of Army Men. They don't own the rights to the game series and they never have. They have not even tried securing the rights by asking for them in order to create this game. It's not an official Army Men game let alone the fact a legal game to exist on this Wikipedia article. The game is a obvious trademark violation due to these standards they have failed to meet before establishing the game as the final installment. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.171.23.129 (talk) 05:06, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

Thank you Frosty very much yeah this has been a problem. I just have not been able to tackle it by myself. I really appreciate you.--78.171.23.129 (talk) 05:29, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- No real way to remove it permanently because people can just re-add it, just keep an eye on the page every now and again I suppose. —Frosty ☃ 05:31, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
Alright I will go ahead and do that then until that company stops posting it on here. I don't have a problem if a official release comes up under that name though. Just the one that doesn't have the rights. So that link will help me be able to submit a trademark violations report?--85.107.179.76 (talk) 05:40, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, just be sure not to make it a threatening report. Just state what the problem material is and that you would like it removed, there is definitely no need to make legal threats about it. If it's a problem and is obviously a problem/you can prove it's a problem, we tend to be helpful about it. —Frosty ☃ 05:43, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
Gregor Robertson
The man is an appalling shill for the development industry. He is an anathema to democracy. His party repeatedly grants rights to developers over the wishes of thousands of taxpayers. Currently there are 13 or 14 lawsuits against the city. This is simply incredible that citizens have to resort to litigation to preserve their community. He obviously cares for power and little else.
In my opinion, Vision modus operandi includes peddling influence to anyone who pays them money (NPA was no different, just not so blatant).
Below is the verbatim copy of the Criminal Code of Canada, Sec 123
123. Municipal corruption
123. (1) Every one is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years who directly or indirectly gives, offers or agrees to give or offer to a municipal official or to anyone for the benefit of a municipal official — or, being a municipal official, directly or indirectly demands, accepts or offers or agrees to accept from any person for themselves or another person — a loan, reward, advantage or benefit of any kind as consideration for the official
(a) to abstain from voting at a meeting of the municipal council or a committee of the council;
(b) to vote in favour of or against a measure, motion or resolution;
(c) to aid in procuring or preventing the adoption of a measure, motion or resolution; or
(d) to perform or fail to perform an official act.
Influencing municipal official
(2) Every one is guilty of an indictable offence and liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years who influences or attempts to influence a municipal official to do anything mentioned in paragraphs (1)(a) to (d) by
(a) suppression of the truth, in the case of a person who is under a duty to disclose the truth;
(b) threats or deceit; or
(c) any unlawful means.
Definition of “municipal official”
(3) In this section, “municipal official” means a member of a municipal council or a person who holds an office under a municipal government.
End citation.
So when Vision grants "relaxation" to developers who have contributed to the campaign (Westpoint, Henriquez Partners, Rize etc) a literal reading of the law would leave a reasonable man to believe a criminal act may have taken place.
I am not a vandal, but a seeker of truth. The man is garbage and hopefully a court will find him and his party are guilty of selling influence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.85.84.238 (talk) 09:42, 15 September 2014 (UTC)
- It is still just an opinion. It also violates Neutrality policies and Biographies of Living persons. I know and accept that most public figures may have a small or even a large group of people that don't approve of them but you have to keep it neutral at all times. Believe me, there are articles on various people that I don't like that I think deserve to be scathed instead of neutral, but that's the rules and I don't make exceptions just for people I don't like. The same applies for you and everybody else on the project. —Frosty ☃ 09:53, 15 September 2014 (UTC)

- Yeah well, please don't. The information on here is supposed to be satirical. —Frosty ☃ 22:41, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
Lighten Up
It's not a serious article after all and none of the information was offensive. Nonetheless, I apologize. I appreciate the voluntary(?) work you guys do to stop idiots (like me ;)) from editing pages and the way you have to put up with idiots verbally abusing you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.209.16.185 (talk) 22:43, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
- You're welcome I suppose. —Frosty ☃ 22:48, 17 September 2014 (UTC)
Look, man. I apologized no need to be passive aggressive. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.209.16.185 (talk) 22:50, 17 September 2014 (UTC)

Letting you know...
That this isnt really vandalism or blanking. In fact the IP was being helpful by removing a duplicate section, remember be more careful when huggling as the large diff without explanation by an IP editor may be a helpful edit. On the other hand good job with your other vandalism reverts! --Acetotyce (talk) 01:31, 19 September 2014 (UTC)
- Yes I saw the latest revert with an edit summary so I understood why it was being made. Without an edit summary it just looks like blanking so I revert yeah. And thanks :) —Frosty ☃ 01:46, 19 September 2014 (UTC)

- No, it was vandalism. Don't make edits like that again, it is a waste of both our time. —Frosty ☃ 11:35, 25 September 2014 (UTC)
Sorry

- By using Huggle, which will redflag most vandal edits. If that is the case with your sister (I'll give you the benefit of the doubt this time, although not everybody would), make your password secure and don't leave yourself logged in. —Frosty ☃ 23:05, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

- I see. It would be helpful to recent changes patrollers if you removed the old content and added the new content in one edit and/or used an edit summary. :) —Frosty ☃ 08:45, 27 September 2014 (UTC)
