License tagging for Image:Image1751.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Image1751.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Speedy deletion of Aviance uk ltd
[edit]A tag has been placed on Aviance uk ltd, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Cardiff
[edit]Good morning mate. It probably wasn't your intention to break any links, but I've reverted your good faith edits to Cardiff - the airport is called Cardiff International Airport (Cardiff Airport redirects to that page) and its railway station is called Rhoose Cardiff International Airport railway station (removing the word International broke that link - I don't know whether a redirect is in order here or not). Other than that, keep up the good work! Bettia (bring on the trumpets!) 09:30, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

- Ah, hang on a minute... the airport may have changed name, but what about the railway station? As far as I can tell, the old name is still in place.[1][2] I think we should hold fire before updating those links, just for the time being.
Airport names
[edit]Regards your recent comment: Quite the opposite to what you're saying. It is the city served that is the listing objective. It's also been discussed a lot over time, and there are plenty of guidelines as well. I see you are a relatively infrequent user, focused on a limited region/articles, so it would be good to familiarise yourself with naming conventions, formats and other good stuff at WP:Airports, Wp:Airlines etc. Thanks.Jasepl (talk) 01:49, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Actually you are the only one playing stupid games in opposition to established consensus. Frankly that edit looks childish. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 12:04, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Logo cial.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Logo cial.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ZooFari 07:22, 12 December 2009 (UTC)

Cardiff Airport - Cruise Flights
[edit]Hi,
That's interesting according to the Thomson Airways timetable, CWL-BGI operates on 22/01/11 and 05/02/11 (2 flights), CWL-LRM operates on 23/01/11, 20/02/11 & 06/03/11 (3 flights). Do you have a source for these being regular weekly flights over the winter? There are actually four Jet2 UK-Newark flights in total, all of which are available seat only and they still classify as 'ad-hoc' charters so aren't included. Thanks & rgds. SempreVolando (talk) 19:42, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Hmm... CWL actually has 8 flights to BGI from period 01/11/10 - 04/03/2011, making it a full seasons worth of flights (winter), but not all for sale as 'seat only', they are operated primarily for cruise programmes but still a regular movement - on the other hand, LRM is operated every year for a shorter period of time, on the same basis, but has been listed on the CWL page for some time. For the purpose of proof, you might like to look at the following document: http://www.tbicardiffairport.com/en/download.asp?id=199

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
