Response to your question
Your article was deleted because it came across as blatantly promotional, lacked sources, and was non-encyclopedic in tone. All articles should be written from an neutral point of view (see WP:NPOV), have proper sources (see WP:RS), and show how the subject is notable (see WP:N). Please let me know if you have any specific questions. Movingboxes (talk) 11:52, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Blocked
You have been told over and over again that "World Snowboarding Day" isn't notable and shouldn't be added to Snowboarding (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views), yet you've continued to add it to the article. You're clearly only here to promote your own event. You've been warned multiple times, and now you're blocked. --Elkman (Elkspeak) 17:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:
persecution - I am blocked because it is judged by no competent persons that this event shouldn't appear but how this guy can judge that this event happening all over the world and realized with snowboard supporters without any sponsors and money is my event. I wouldn't tell it myself because I would imagine how arrogant this could be taken by the world snowboard community. you are really conservative and protective. I believed Wiki was open on the world but you are just open on yourselves...this is really bullshit. definitively this is your opinion and only your opinion but if you would open your eyes on the world and see how things are going on, for sure you would be confused to act like you do. here we can see how some limited number of people are manipulating the knowledge for a lot of people in this world. shameful.....I will come back and I will motivate all the snowboard world community to change that information...I hope you will have enough time for blocking everybody :o))

I cannot see anyu reason to be block like I am. I just add an existing world wide event in the snowboarding event example like many others which are shown on the list ...but not deleted. stop the bad job and make open mind acts.
Decline reason:
Yes, because you cannot see any reason not to add this article, and because you haven't made yourself familiar with the revelant Wikipedia rule, and because you're ignoring warnings, there isn't any way for us to get you to stop other than to block you. Your actions made the block necessary; please don't request unblock again until you fully understand what the objection was to the article you were creating. — FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:12, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Request reason:
sorry but to understand what is the objection, I need clear explanation and as far there is no clear explanation why the event World snowboard day is not authorized to appear into the article relative to snowboarding !!! for sure all event are starting from a personal action but this world snowboard day event is born from the world snowboard federation from which I am part of the board of director. your decision stay completely unclear and without any understandable reason. censure when it happens has to be really founded.
Decline reason:
I have no doubt that the information you posted about World Snowboard Day is accurate, and it sounds like a cool event. But, unfortunately, Wikipedia requires all articles to be neutral and verifiable. The article you posted was promotional in tone - it read like a press release, telling visitors about the "Crazy and unforgettable" event, and directing them to your website for more information. It also lacked independent, reliable sources, such as news articles or press coverage of the event - and a brief search reveals very little such coverage. Despite being notified of these problems, as shown above, you recreated the article in various forms 8 times, each time using much the same language. So, you were warned to stop. Rather than discussing the issue, as would be the normal course of action, you continued to edit disruptively, and were properly blocked as a result. I also note that, since you're one of the organizers of the event, that our Conflict of Interest policy applies as well. Please consider very carefully our guide to appealing blocks at WP:GAB before using the Unblock template again, as repeated requests may result in your talk page being protected from editing. I really don't see any rason to be block withot time limit. what I did was to promote a sport celebration for the best of the sport. I don't talk about sex, drugs, politics and other shit like that...I am just talikng about snowboard without hidden the true and in announcing something which is existing since 3 years and developped in more than 15 countries last year. please think about it and moderate your decision. I am stopping to edit my page but you have to know that I transfer that info to the international snowboard community I am working with : riders, magazine, federation, association, resorts...and they will come to you for having the right to announce this world wide event. take care and good continuation.FORSANS remi (talk) 15:00, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
