Thanks.

I really appreciate you tagging all of the edits I made to "The Office" episode pages as vandalism. All I was doing was updating the episode numbers to match those in the infoboxes. I apologize profusely for trying to update the pages.

StyrofoamChicken (talk) 05:50, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

You're quite welcome. :) Enigmamsg 05:50, 27 February 2009 (UTC)

Favour please

Can you sort out Oasis (band) for me? Look through the last handful of edits. I can't be bothered to fix them myself because I'll just lose my temper. In order: 1) A new reference was added for their NME award. The award needs to be moved to the chronological section (2008-present) etc. 2) And then citation needs to be formatted the way that I do it (i.e. <ref>[URL site name] Retrieved whenever </ref>) and 3) There's a whole paragraph where there's a bunch of fact tags. Can you either look for a source(s) or just scrape off the shit? I think it could be just people adding whatever they want. There we go, now you've got something useful to do! Thanks and love. For every category you create, you should specify parent categories to which it belongs. In the case of a category like this one, parent categories are provided automatically when you include a {{Sockpuppet category}} template.

I understand most of my articles of the various Jat and Rajput clans of Pakistan have been deleted. I note that none of the articles on the various Jat clans in India have been deleted. Can you clarify whether it is your policy to simply delete the Pakistani entries. Many of the Indian articles make no refrence to any sources and are quite frankly poorly written. All my articles make refrence to either Rose or Wikely who wrote a considerable amount on the Pakistani Jat and Rajput clans. I am quite happy to edit any of my articles if you feel they require further improvement, to bring them up to a better standard. But a blanket deletion of all Pakistan related entries, while leaving the Indian ones as is, I feel smacks of discrimination.

The reason given for deleting the List of Muslim Rajput clans article simply states:

"22:27, 3 March 2009 Scarian (talk | contribs) deleted "List of Muslim Rajput Clans of Punjab" ‎ (A7: No indication that the article may meet guidelines for inclusion)"

I think I should at least receive a more detailed response as to why these articles are not up to scratch. Wikepedia is full of articles on other South Asian social groups, and indeed other tribal and social groupings.

I look forward to hearing from you.

The point isn't about deleting Indian articles. The point is that most of Indian Jat sub-tribes have their own entries, and none have been deleted. Then why are the Pakistani ones subject to deletion. The Jat are important ethno-tribal community, made up of tribal sections. Other Pakistani ethno-tribals communities such as the Baluch and Pashtoon also have tribal entries. If it is Wikepedia policy not have entries on tribal groups, then why not have a uniform policy. Exclude all tribal groupongs, African, Native American, South-East Asian, and then I have no problem with the Pakistani ones being deleted. What concerns me is that the Pakistani ones are being singled out.

I accept, that many Pakistani entries require editing and are poorly sourced. I am attempting to contact other Pakistani contributors so that we then discuss this point. But unless there is a blanket ban on all tribal entries, then I cannot see why the Pakistani entries are being singled out.

Concerns

Not sure where to raise this. But this chap Scarian (talk | contribs) is unnecessarily vandalising Pakistan related articles. What is the main forum to register concerns. I think there might be undelying issues of racism. I will look at Wiki guidelines on racist behaviour, but I would be obliged if this particular editor is blocked from dealing with Pakistani or Islam related issues. I believe that we should be as open as possible, and any critism of either topics in itself not wrong. But this editor seems to be vandalising articles for the sake of vandalism.

Hi Waltham, I'm Scarian (But I prefer to be called Pat!). I appreciate your concerns but I must protest that I am not vandalising anything, Sir. Please see WP:VANDAL. In regards to me deleting (Please see WP:DELETE) some of your articles, please see WP:NOTABILITY. The tribes that you have been writing about do not meet out notability guidelines. Also, remember to sign your username at the end of your comments using the four tildes: ~~~~ - And remember: You don't have to start a new subject heading for a topic that is vaguely similar. If you have any questions or require any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me. :-) Regards, ScarianCall me Pat! 16:32, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Country outlines project update - 2009/03/08

Remember "Around the World"?

Well, we've been around the World, and around again (virtually speaking, on Wikipedia), on this project.

Things have been slowing down again, so it's time for a big push...

We've gone live

This project needed a shot in the arm. Also, its draft pages have been littering Wikipedia's categories for months. The time seemed right to move all the country outline drafts to article space.

WHAT???

Well, the drafts had been sitting in Wikipedia space for a year.

WHAT???

Development has been moving at a snail's pace and we could use the help of the Wikipedia community at large (who are more likely to find these if they are in article space).

WHAT???

Yes, we've gone live.  :)

This puts pressure on us to get the blatantly incomplete elements of these outlines done. The only glaring problem is the government branches sections. These need to be corrected ASAP.

I've mentioned THE GOVERNMENT BRANCHES SECTIONS many times to many people over the past year, but the problem just doesn't seem to have been taken seriously. So let me put it another way:

HELP!!! I need your help on this now. Almost all the countries have a government with an executive branch, a legislative branch, and a judicial branch. The links for these branches need to be completed for each country outline:

Here's a convenient list you can use WP:LINKY on to access and edit these quickly. Please copy the list's link to the top of your talk page so that you can access it easily.

If you spot any standardization in links, and ways we can automate parts of this process, or for groups of countries that have links in common, please let me know!

Administrative support for outlines

There has been growing pressure on me to write up the administrative pages for outlines - their instructions, guidelines, etc. Therefore, I'm now in the process of composing these. Fortunately, it is mostly a matter of gathering material from messages I've written to you guys over the past year. Still, this is taking up most of my time, and I will be buried in these for the foreseeable future.

Traffic control

The next big task after the government branches sections are cleaned up is link support for the outlines.

There's quite a list of links and notices that need to be put in place around Wikipedia, providing access to them to readers, and alerting editors to the need to develop and maintain these pages. This will keep our bot people very busy (and happy).

But the most important thing right now is to get the government branches sections completed. So please, put your bots aside, roll up your shirt sleeves, and start typing.

Thank you.

TransPerfect

Hi Enigmaman

I was just wondering why you took down my changes to TransPerfect. I cited all articles and was basically just giving the site an update from its 2007 information.

Thanks,

Turpanllc (talk) 07:29, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Andy (Turpanllc)

Many of the changes you made were inappropriate. I will go over it tomorrow, but presenting a detailed timeline of the company is not appropriate for Wikipedia. There are a few other points as well. Enigmamsg 07:32, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate your help, I am new to this and only doing it as a favor because the information is outdated while others posted information throughout the years, they fell behind.

Thanks for the comments

Turpanllc (talk) 07:39, 9 March 2009 (UTC)Andy

I will try to do more work on the article this week. I agree with you that it is outdated. Enigmamsg 07:41, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

What is going on with the above account? I do not see a bot flag, nor does it appear to be operating as a bot. As such it would seem to violate the username policy. KnightLago (talk) 14:30, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

I will request a rename. It was originally intended to be a bot account to clean up violations of WP:MOSFLAG, but the user who offered to work with me in coding it started ignoring my messages. After that, I just started using it for tedious tasks, but it doesn't have a bot flag, so the username isn't proper. Enigmamsg 16:40, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
Or you could just find someone else to write the code? It'd be an awful waste for a rename. And I think we need a bit more AGF in this community, to be honest... ScarianCall me Pat! 16:46, 9 March 2009 (UTC)
I am and continue to assume good faith. That is why I brought it here to ask without just blocking it outright. I am not trying to cause trouble, it is just I was genuinely confused when I saw the account. And it does not, as Enigmaman said, comply with policy. KnightLago (talk) 17:44, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

Ghost (disambiguation)

The purpose of a disambiguation page is different from that of a regular article. Its primarily to navigate to the appropriate page when someone enters the term (in this case "Ghost"), Please have a look at WP:MOSDAB. I am going to revert your changes to this page. User:Jwy talk 06:18, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

You're supposed to first ask me, not revert and notify me that you're reverting. Not a very good approach to editing. Enigmamsg 06:22, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
I disagree, especially in this case. Your edit prevented anyone easy access to the album articles and it seemed clear to me that you were unaware of the dab guidelines. Reverting back to the original (once) is not against the rules and usually results in a discussion on the talk page. That seems a reasonable and efficient approach to editing. (John User:Jwy talk) 16:13, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
No. You don't wholesale revert an established editor without even looking at the whole edit or notifying them first. I'm well aware of WP:MOSDAB. I've edited hundreds of disambig pages. Your approach is neither reasonable nor efficient. Enigmamsg 16:46, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
I'll give you each £100 if you can follow this to the letter in your dispute. ScarianCall me Pat! 16:27, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
I apologize. I did not mean to be obnoxious and honestly assumed you were unaware of the guideline. I will revert back. My primary concern was with the song links disappearing and I did not give the rest of the page sufficient review (do I get the £100 still?). (John User:Jwy talk) 20:40, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Sure. You get the £100 for being gentlemanly and polite. E-man loses his for being aggressive and hormonal. ScarianCall me Pat! 20:42, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for conceding. I am willing to discuss that perhaps certain parts of my edit were not appropriate and perhaps I can edit it so that it will be acceptable to you as well? Enigmamsg 23:32, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Its not a battle! Should work. I've updated the talk page with what I see as issues. (John User:Jwy talk) 23:38, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Jerry Rice

Hi, why don't you want people to know that Jerry's wife Jackie filed for a divorce? He is definitely not living in the bay area with his wife and kids. Just want to put the right information out there, why do you keep reverting it? http://www.myfamilylaw.com/celebrityblog/2008/02/10/jerry-rice-selling-22-million-dollar-home-in-divorce/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 171.66.87.137 (talk) 20:11, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

I remove it because you are not citing/sourcing it properly. Now you're at least giving a link, but it still wouldn't be enough, because that is not a reliable source. WP:RS has the guidelines. Enigmamsg 20:35, 12 March 2009 (UTC)

Erm, perhaps you should get some sleep then? Using rollback to revert good faith additions and then not communicating the reason when asked seems out of character for you. –xeno (talk) 17:32, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Geography WikiProject update - 03/15/2009

The award images are complete!

After months of toil and attention to detail, Penubag has completed the set of images for this WikiProject's awards!

There are five race ribbons:

There's an engraved medallion:

And by far the hardest to create, a golden trophy:

If you have any ideas about awards these images can be placed upon, and how to award them (to show appreciation and to attract participants), please let me know.

And be sure to pop by Penubag's talk page to let him know what you think of his graphics artistry.

Your prod of two albums

Hi. You tagged two albums by FannyPack for deletion through WP:PROD. I've declined both of them on the grounds that, if the band is notable, so are their albums according to WP:NALBUMS. If you think neither is the case, and that this perhaps is a promotional walled garden, I suggest bundling a nomination of the band and their albums through WP:AFD. -Lilac Soul (talk contribs count) 14:01, 16 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi-- any reason for removing the link? DavidOaks (talk) 12:06, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

I could be wrong, but I don't think it's an appropriate link. At the very least, it should contain a warning. Enigmamsg 21:36, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
It's about as ugly a thing as there is on the net, but WP isn't censored. It's one of his chief activities, therfore requires notice in his article. Now, it's a separate question whether we're within wikipolicy in deliberately doing away with both the title of the page and the link. I'm going to paste this discussion on the article's talk-page, and see what kind of discussion it might bring out. DavidOaks (talk) 21:56, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Fair enough. I will follow along. I do hate linking to hate sites unless absolutely necessary. It would be bringing his website more publicity than it deserves. Also, what makes it worthy of mention? Many people who have articles on Wikipedia maintain their own websites. Enigmamsg 22:00, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Category Delete

Since discussion was closed, I thought I would just make a point here.

I had said "I don't think its trivial. For one thing, it relates to what WBC team the person might be able to play on."

I didn't say that it was the only factor.

Clearly, if a ballplayer is from Japan, he qualifies for the Japanese team.

As you said, there are frequent occurrences of players representing countries other than the country they were born in. But my point was still valid. The two aren't mutually exclusive.--Epeefleche (talk) 08:02, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

As shown with the Greek team, things can be stretched to have just about any player play for any team. If your grandfather visited a country, that's enough. If someone was not born in the US, chances are they will not be playing for USA. Otherwise, there's not much there. Enigmamsg 14:26, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

AWB

Greetings Enigmaman. I've just seen the edits you've made to the Average White Band article and am not sure why you've removed the birth dates of some of the band members while leaving others. As your edit summary gives no explanation, am reverting those edits so that the article is consistent. --Technopat (talk) 10:21, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

I left the birthdate for members who did not have their own article. If they have their own article, there's no sense in duplicating the information, but no matter. Do what you see fit, but please don't blanket-revert. Enigmamsg 21:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

R.A. The Rugged Man/R.A. Thorburn

Hi Enigmaman,

R.A. has personally requested the search term 'R.A. The Rugged Man' take you to the page of the same title instead of being redirected to 'R.A. Thorburn' as it is now. Is it possible to for you to allow the changes I made this morning to stick?

If you need any further info please drop me a line.

Cheers,

Jade Kingi —Preceding unsigned comment added by JLemur (talkcontribs) 10:33, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

I think you might have a conflict of interest here. I personally think both articles should be deleted. Enigmamsg 14:26, 19 March 2009 (UTC)
I see your point regarding COI but even for consistency's sake wouldn't you agree the page title should be the same as his stage name? Eminem, for example, doesn't redirect to Marshall Mathers. What is your reason for wanting to delete both? I'd agree 'R.A. Thorburn' should go (after the content is moved to 'R.A. The Rugged Man') as his birth name appears in the main article anyway and would have little if any effect on search accuracy. JLemur (talk) 04:18, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Possibly. I'll ask on the talk page of the article if I remember. It would somewhat depend on third party sources. Enigmamsg 21:59, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Admin coaching

I'm coaching three people now, in fact. I updated my status recently. bibliomaniac15 05:31, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

I think we ought to send a message to all the coaches asking them to update their status. If it turns out I'm the only one, I suppose it will have to go into inactive status. I'd still be willing to coach myself, but it would have to be in my own page or something. Have you asked User:I'm Spartacus! or User:Malinaccier about this? bibliomaniac15 20:12, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
I would doubt you're the only one, but it's probably the count is probably down to the single digits. A message to each of the coaches listed as "active" (which includes myself, despite the fact that I haven't actively coached anyone for a few months now) would be a good idea. Some of the people requesting coaching no longer edit at all, so that list could be stripped down, too. Useight (talk) 21:26, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Balloonman/I'm Spartacus left the coaching project. As far as I can tell, Malinaccier is no longer actively involved. I'm surprised that you removed my tag because you agreed to the tag on the WT page. Enigmamsg 21:31, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

User:NoSeptember/The_NoSeptember_Admin_Project A whole bunch of the stuff linked to is not there. I guess many of the pages were deleted. Especially of note are the links to admin stats. Enigmamsg 02:54, 19 March 2009 (UTC)

The original purpose of the project was to keep track of the many pages other editors have created on the topic of admins. I've been somewhat inactive over the past few years and therefore I have not had a chance to add most of the newer pages created during that time, including your User:Enigmaman/SNOW page :-) . Editors leave wikipedia and often delete their stuff when they do, so no surprise lots of redlinks develop. Durin, for example, had a lot of cool charts on adminship which have mostly been deleted now. If I ever get the chance I will add new stuff, to help keep the project useful. Cheers, NoSeptember 13:59, 22 March 2009 (UTC)

Collateral damage

Hi. You might not have noticed, but you performed a reversion [1] at Lance Stephenson that also reverted my template editing, which I don't think you were disagreeing with. When reverting, please be careful that you only revert edits which with you disagree, without also undoing unrelated work. Thanks. -GTBacchus(talk) 01:01, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

I could be wrong, but I thought defaultsort/living people/birth was the way people wanted it? I haven't been keeping up on the discussions, though. Enigmamsg 02:19, 23 March 2009 (UTC)
I haven't kept up either. I noticed the existence of the {{Lifetime}} template, which consolidates the year-of-birth, year-of-death, living-people, and default-sort into one bit of code. It doesn't seem to be deprecated, so I've been using it, and nobody has complained yet.

Anyway, if you actually did mean to revert my edit, then I apologize for assuming that you had been careless. Ultimately it doesn't matter to me whether we use one template, or one other template plus two categories. I just wanted to be sure you realized there was another edit that you'd undone. It appears you already knew that. -GTBacchus(talk) 05:24, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

what's your problem?

so what's your problem with my editing? why do you call it vandalism or whatever you called it? my edit was accurate and on point...whatever your opinion is. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.176.206.204 (talk) 22:48, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

[2] There are numerous problems with that edit. Even if there weren't, the edit summary was false and misleading. Enigmamsg 23:26, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

It's all better now, things are gonna work somehow... Enigmamsg 04:24, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

I appreciate your trimming out much of the problem text...it was a toss-up for me when I evaluated the CSD. However, you cut out some legitimate references to reviews that demonstrate notability. May I suggest you reconsider these? AKRadeckiSpeaketh 01:15, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Did the best I could. That article is the worst kind. It can't be deleted, yet it's destined to be a horrible article. There are far too many of those. I wish I could even say that was the first BLP like that I saw this week... Enigmamsg 04:24, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
I hear you! If you read my talk page, you'd see the kind of vitriol we get when even deleting small non-notable bands! AKRadeckiSpeaketh 13:28, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Prove that what you insist on deleting is advertising, copyright infringement or not a verifiable facts and I will not continuing undoing your edits. So far your request for speedy deletion was denied and your claims of copyright infringment were also denied. Obviously others don't agree with you. MiamiJazz (talk) 17:44, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

This is your final warning. Stop plagiarizing and spamming Wikipedia. Enigmamsg 17:46, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
I've issued a very final warning to the user. If he slips up again please contact me. ScarianCall me Pat! 17:58, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Enigmaman, I've been away but also got the note you left on my talk page. If there's a further problem, and Scarian is unavailable, I'll be happy to deal with this user, as well. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 23:18, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Actually no...I created the article not Corderite75. MiamiJazz (talk) 20:17, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

You and Corderite75 are the same person, so I fail to see the difference. I guess you/Corderite did use the MiamiJazz account to create Royce Campbell, yes. Enigmamsg 20:26, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Except we aren't the same person. I know its hard for you to believe that more than one person knows and appreciates who Royce Campbell is. I'm sure the fact that we are two different people can be verified by Wikipedia if it comes down to it. MiamiJazz (talk) 20:36, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
I'll take a look into it. ScarianCall me Pat! 20:52, 25 March 2009 (UTC)
Please do and I hope you make it a point to correct Enigma when you find that we aren't the same person. Thank you. MiamiJazz (talk) 20:57, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Red X Unrelated - But, it's highly likely there are meat issues here. CU recommended AfD. ScarianCall me Pat! 21:05, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

I added some biographical information about Campbell's early life and career earlier this afternoon; and I also added some specific artist information under the "sideman recordings" section---they were reverted (wholly) by Enigma back to the article's previous version, deleting all the new info. Why? Corderite75 (talk) 23:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

This is my second attempt to address the edits of this page with you--I left a message on the talk page of AKRadeckiSpeaketh to ask for help in addressing the dilemma of editing this article, given that you did not respond to me. I ask you again, what material on this website is either promotional or inaccurate? Which language needs to be addressed? I want to work to make this page less "disastrous" to use your language. Can you help me to make this happen? Corderite75 (talk) 03:10, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I have attempted multiple times to correspond with you to discuss the editing problems with this article. I am eager to get the existing information and resources that I can gather on Campbell's career into an accurate and appropriate article, but I am struggling to understand the current problems with the article. Beyond saying that material is "disastrous" or "questionable," what specifically needs to be addressed? Any help would be greatly appreciated! I seek to solve this issue soon! Corderite75 (talk) 04:51, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

  • Corderite - Engimaman hasn't been logged on and editing at wiki for at least 24 hours. Indeed he hasn't been at wiki during any of the period from the start to the last of your last 4 edits at his page - this is probably because he is undertaking real life work and commitments - stay patient, wait a day or two, and I am sure he will respond when he is back and able to.--VS talk 05:22, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Sorry, can't help. The issues have not been resolved, but if you're just going to remove them without discussing it, there's nothing that can be accomplished. Enigmamsg 00:32, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
  • Which issues have not been resolved? When you say "if you're just going to remove 'them' without discussing it," to what does the word "them" refer? According to the sentence structure, "them" is referring to "issues," but then you state that "there's nothing that can be accomplished," (from removing whatever it is you mean without discussion). So, I am left wondering... Removing issues? Removing tags? Removing content? Removing previous edits? Removing what exactly? Nonetheless, I thank you for your apology and honesty in stating that you cannot help me nor the article. Corderite75 (talk) 10:03, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

I noticed the above account was editing again today. As we have discussed before (see here) it is a violation of the username policy. If the account edits again I am going to have to block it. Please let me know if you have any questions. KnightLago (talk) 00:54, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

I was forced to use it to make a few edits becayse I was locked out of my account. Enigmamsg 02:25, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Was just about to comment. See this. ScarianCall me Pat! 02:35, 30 March 2009 (UTC)
Ok. Perhaps now is the time then to create another alternative account. KnightLago (talk) 17:08, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

FYI I have mentioned your name there. It may be tough to see among some of his talk page edits which I admit are difficult to interpret, but Hopiakuta is editing in good faith. For example, the "Newhall massacre" was another mass shooting that took place in California, this is why it is related to North Hollywood shootout. You should not have used rollback in this instance. –xeno (talk) 02:43, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

I was wrong because I mass-reverted which was not a smart move, but I don't see how you can argue for this user to remain editing. If you or anyone else wants it unblocked, you should be responsible for its edits. Legal threats, excessive name-calling, zero good article edits, etc. At least if it is unblocked, maybe something good will come out of the block that way. Enigmamsg 02:46, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
He was understandably frustrated. Zero good article edits? Creating redirects is a worthwhile endeavour, as is inter-wiki linking related articles. Please do try to see past the user's difficulties interacting with the encyclopedia. –xeno (talk) 02:52, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
The redirects were mostly irksome. The See alsos were good, true. However, that's not much of a contribution in the face of his personal attacks. I should amend what I said. Not "zero" but "minimal useful edits in the mainspace." Maybe he has a disability. Does anyone actually know or are they speculating based on his rants? Either way, you have more patience than I do if you want to work with someone who's said the things he's said. Enigmamsg 02:56, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I believe someone has spoken with him over the telephone at one point. There was some progress in helping him interact with the wikipedia back in '08 but then he abruptly stopped editing. –xeno (talk) 03:08, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I read last night something about that, but all I saw was someone saying that Hop wants someone to talk to him over the phone, but this person did not want to do it. L'At... also didn't want to. If someone did, it would be instructive to communicate with that individual. Enigmamsg 03:20, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
Yea, I'll see about setting that up. In the meantime, please respect his wishes not to post to the talk page (I think that is what he means by "block"). I'll ask him again to dial back the language, I'm sure he does not mean to be as offensive as he appears. –xeno (talk) 03:48, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I read it as him asking you to block me, which I hope you will not do. I won't edit his user or user talk pages. I had no reason to in the first place, except for the ill-advised mass revert and my subsequent self-revert. I felt I had to reply to being called a terrorist, as this is a momentous occasion. I've been called many names, but never a terrorist. Good luck to you both, Enigmamsg 03:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
heh, of course not =) Thanks, –xeno (talk) 03:53, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

RFPP

Hi there Enigma. While I appreciate your help everywhere of course, I do not think you are doing anyone a favor in declining RFPP requests. Some might see it as if you were trying to impersonate admins while others might feel they can start doing the same. Help is a great thing but RFPP is one of the venues where only admins can make definite decisions. If you add those templates, other admins might believe the request has been decided already even though it still needs assessment. I hate to tell you off for trying to help (I really do) but in the spirit of treating all users the same, I feel that such particular help is counter-productive to both RFPP and yourself and I suggest you stop doing it. There are other ways you can help around here that would be much appreciated, like checking CAT:CSD for mistaken speedy tagging and removing them. Regards SoWhy 06:51, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

Better check the edit history and which ones specifically I posted that by. Enigmamsg 07:08, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

About Sinan the Old Man of the Mountain

Sinan does refer to Rashid ad-Din Sinan (or the Old Man of the Mountain). Why do you reject this modification on the disambiguation page of Sinan? I've changed the assassin line. Yogomove (talk) 10:34, 31 March 2009 (UTC)

I have no idea what you're talking about. Enigmamsg 17:14, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
I've cleaned it up. It's fine now. ScarianCall me Pat! 21:16, 31 March 2009 (UTC)
