[edit] Hello, I'm HMSLavender. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Maine College of Art, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 04:42, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia, but users are not allowed to edit with inappropriate usernames and we do not tolerate 'bad faith' editing such as trolling or other disruptive behavior. If you think there are good reasons why these don't describe your account, or why you should be unblocked, you are welcome to appeal this block – read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
at the end of your user talk page.

- The Anome, I don't actually agree about the username. "Bullshit" is very mild. But their one edit contains a serious attack against a living person by name, so let's let the block stand. It's not just about not providing a source, HMSLavender, and the user does not get to re-add it under any circumstances. I've revision deleted it. Bishonen | talk 09:28, 20 July 2018 (UTC).
- Thanks for the comment. Yes, the name alone probably deserves a soft block, not a hard block. The real issue is the BLP violation, and the username makes it clear that the user is not here for any other activities. I've changed the warning above from uw-uhblock to vaublock to reflect this. -- The Anome (talk) 10:46, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
