Well this is awkward... Since posting that message to you, I've been assigned as ambassador to two other courses. That I can manage, but I'm concerned that if I end up working on three courses at once I'll be spread a bit thin, and won't be able to provide students with sufficient support. Thankfully, I see that you've got two extremely experienced and competent Campus Ambassadors, so your students already have a wealth of Wikipedia knowledge to draw upon.
I'll see instead if I can find another editor who would be a good online ambassador for you; I already have someone in mind. I apologise wholeheartedly for the inconvenience, but having seen who you're already working with, I have every confidence that your course will be a success without my input. Hi,

I took a look at what you added to the Richmond, California article:

<ref>{{cite book|last=Moore|first=Shirley|title=To Place Our Deeds|year=2001|publisher=University of California Press|location=Berkeley}}</ref>

The problem is that when you use the <ref></ref> tags it takes the stuff in between <ref> and </ref> and puts it all in the references section and then it creates a footnote link to that entry in the references. If you just want to add something to the bibliography without footnotes, just omit <ref> and </ref> and it should work fine.

Help us improve the course page system!

Hi Prof. Johnson, I'm very interested in your opinion and experiences as an instructor of History of the American West (Fall_2014). We prepared some questions to gain deeper insight in user experience. Please let me know, if you could spare some time and help us improve the design of the Wikipedia course page system in regards of the need of all users (instructors, students and volunteers).
