Why do you ask? (Discopleasant (talk) 20:16, 18 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]
I hope my last response didn’t sound too intense.. but yes I did, many years ago, but I later stopped using it and I remember one day I tried to get in but forgot the password and that’s when I stopped… That is until now… I know you can’t have more than one account but in this case I forgot the password, and that happened like a decade ago. Now I’m trying to get the hang of it learning to edit for the first time after many years. (Discopleasant (talk) 23:14, 18 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]
You're an obvious sock; too well-informed about the Mauryan-map, and continuing the opposition against it. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 02:58, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please refrain from making personal attacks. I looked up the Mauryan article and saw the map was off. I saw the previous comments made regarding the map to understand how you guys reached such conclusion. And no, I’m relatively new to this discussion, so no reason to be on guard… (Discopleasant (talk) 04:56, 19 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]

WP:PA

[edit]

Fascinating that a newbie with 24 edits knows the page WP:PA. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 18:17, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Whatever (Channel) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No Evidence of Notability

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Whatever (Channel) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. CycloneYoris, Blethering Scot. Thank you for your concern about the new article. The reason stated was that it has “no evidence/sources of notability” and rest assured I have already provided the sources to the new article. And according to BletherinScott’s last message it said I can remove the page deletion request if I provided a reason to do so, which I did, as well as providing notice of the sources indicating its existence. If there’s anything you want to ask or that I should know about, feel free to message me. (Discopleasant (talk) 21:20, 23 April 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Many small edits

[edit]

Why are you making so many edits on your sandbox? — rsjaffe 🗣️ 04:51, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I first wanted to edit the outlook (my) sandbox but I guess I added too many punctuations in the process. I was wondering how you know this, are you interested in using my sandbox? Everyone is free to use it as I mentioned (Discopleasant (talk) 05:13, 12 May 2024 (UTC))[reply]
rsjaffe is not the only one who noticed. It looks like you want to increase your edit-count in an artificial way, to gain (undeserved) editor-rights. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 05:33, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you were wondering whether I was trying to gain “Extended user status” then you’d be partially correct. I used to actively edit Wikipedia a long time ago and started editing actively again after many years, and during these past years I’ve been making a few minor edits here and there, so I do have the hang of editing and wanted to make up for lost time… It’s not done in bad faith, the gaming the system article focuses more on warning of malicious intent, something that is far from my motive, just making up for lost time. (Discopleasant (talk) 05:33, 12 May 2024 (UTC))[reply]
Wrong approach, and if you've edited before, you should know. Pinging User:Doug Weller to keep an eye on your activities. Joshua Jonathan - Let's talk! 05:38, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
1, WP:GAME is not a specific ground rule but rather a warning on troublesome editors who either want to further an edit war or to enforce a specific non-neutral point of view, non of which I’m doing. 2, are ‘t you the one who immediately failed to follow WP:GF by accusing me of being a sockpuppet because of talking about a map? Something me and Avantiputra7 already solved in the talk page btw. And just like WP:GAME, WP:GF is just a guideline more so than a fixed rule. (Discopleasant (talk) 06:12, 12 May 2024 (UTC))[reply]
