Stats in football players' infoboxes
[edit]Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate=
(or |club-update=
) parameter. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 23:12, 11 May 2015 (UTC)
- The dates accompanying career stats tables need updating also. Mattythewhite (talk) 01:00, 21 September 2015 (UTC)
Live updates
[edit]Hi.
Please do not update statistics or scores while a match is in progress. Instead, wait until the match has finished before updating. At WikiProject Football there is a consensus not to add live scores and also a consensus not to update any statistics while a match is in progress. Without live updates it is easier to avoid duplicate information and errors from being published on the article.
Please keep this in mind. Thank you. Qed237 (talk) 19:17, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, when updating club infobox stats you should update the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made. Thanks, Mattythewhite (talk) 23:56, 5 April 2017 (UTC)

Infobox dates
[edit]Hello, I'm Mattythewhite. Welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions was not quite right. When updating statistics within the infobox of a footballer, please make sure you update the timestamp at the same time, so that both readers and fellow editors know when the information was last updated.
You can do this by replacing the existing timestamp within the |club-update=
or |pcupdate=
parameter for club stats, or the |nationalteam-update=
or |ntupdate=
parameter for international stats, by adding five tildes (~~~~~), which generates the specific time the update was made.
If you have any questions about this, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, Mattythewhite (talk) 13:35, 6 December 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Kevin De Bruyne, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. [edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Paul Pogba, you may be blocked from editing. Flix11 (talk) 06:58, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
Blocked
[edit]Hello. I went through your edits over the last 6 years and they seem to be entirely making random changes to articles. They seem to be making accurate information inaccurate. Many users have reached out to you and you have not responded to them.
I have blocked this account indefinitely. If you think that you can contribute in a productive way you may refer to WP:UNBLOCK for instructions on requesting an unblock. Any uninvolved administrator can review this block and if they feel justified reverse it.
If you think I have misunderstood the situation let me know. HighInBC Need help? {{ping|HighInBC}} 08:08, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
I have not been disrupting any pages for the last 5 years, I’ve edited many pages and fixed many of the errors present, namely in football stats. This must be a misunderstanding because I’ve entirely re-edited and fixed some pages that were ridden with mistakes. Please help me get unblocked because I believe it is entirely unjustified Daryoushz (talk) 10:22, 1 June 2021 (UTC)

I have not been disrupting any pages for the last 5 years, I’ve edited many pages and fixed many of the errors present, namely in football stats. This must be a misunderstanding because I’ve entirely re-edited and fixed some pages that were ridden with mistakes. Please help me get unblocked because I believe it is entirely unjustified. I edited the Paul Pogba honours section due to inconsistencies, at the time of me editing his runners up medal for the FA cup in 2018 and UCL in 2015 wasn’t listed so I thought runners up medals aren’t listed, hence why I removed the Europa league 2021 runners up medal from his honours list, this is a similar reason as to why I removed de Bruynes UCL runners up medal. If it is common to add runners up medals then I merely Mia understood; this isn’t vandalism and hardly justification for me being blocked.Daryoushz (talk) 16:41, 1 June 2021 (UTC)
