Review of Larry Potterfield's Wiki Page
Good afternoon Daryl,
A few months back you gave me some feedback on a Wiki for Larry Potterfield. I have worked with several other users and made considerable changes. You mentioned I might check back with you to get this approved more quickly instead of waiting for several months. I am quickly approaching my end of year deadline for this project and would sincerely appreciate any help you can offer to speed this along. Draft: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Draft:Larry_Potterfield

Jessie Gordon page
I have made major edits to the Jessie Gordon submission. http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Draft:Jessie_Gordon Please let me know if it can be approved soon! Thank you Volsap (talk) 21:32, 27 December 2014 (UTC) volsap
- @Volsap: You have made significant improvements with the tone of your article, however the sourcing method you are using are still not inline citations, they are external links. Please see WP:REFB for a guide on how to use inline citations. Furthermore, I still can't find many reliable, published and independent sources in your article that talk mainly about Jessie. The Guardian orbituary article is good, so you should try find at least two more of those, more to be safe. The artist listings in the exhibition does not really help with notability because it's just a database of artists. I would also like to see better grammar and structure in your article, but worry about that after you asserted notability and started using inline citations properly. Duplicate AFC article
Hi Daryl -
The recently accepted AFC submission Ian Hamilton (Author) basically duplicated an existing entry, Ian Hamilton (writer). I merged the content of the AFC one with the existing entry, then I created a redirect to the merged page. I just wanted to let you know what was going on in case this pops up on your watchlist. Hey Darylgolden. I wanted to ask if you might be interested in mentoring one or more editors during our pilot of the mentorship space called the Co-op. We plan to run the pilot in late January for about one month. The idea is that mentors will be doing one-on-one teaching based on how an editor wants to contribute, and it's not some huge commitment to teach/learn comprehensively about Wikipedia. We also want to make to easier for new editors to find mentors as well. Your experience in adopting editors already and at AfC will certainly be helpful to new editors just getting started. If you're interested, please sign up here and feel free to peruse, make suggestions, or ask questions about how the Co-op will work. Thanks a bunch (and Happy New Year!), I, JethroBT drop me a line 05:03, 30 December 2014 (UTC)

Feedback
Thanks for the feedback on the São Paulo stub pages. I was wondering about the whole stub thing on the top versus the bottom… somewhere in the WP:help pages I read that they go on top, but it always felt wrong to me. Apparently with good reason! I will try to find that reference (maybe I misread it) and I will also change how I’m setting up the stubs as I go forward. Thanks again! giso6150 (talk) 00:52, 31 December 2014 (UTC)
- @Giso6150: No problem! Another thing to note is to put a section header over messages you've left other users, to distinguish it from other conversations. Because you did not leave a section header here, I've named this section "feedback". Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) 00:55, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Removed content from Wikipedia Botfly page
Hi, I received a notice that you had removed my recently added comment to the Botfly page on Wikipedia for reasons of Copyright Infringement. I can attest that I did write and compose my comment in my own words. I had posted the same comment a few years ago and noticed that it had been removed so decided to re-post it.
Can you please therefore undo your deletion of my comment?
Thanks, Yvan 198.84.165.107 (talk) 04:31, 2 January 2015 (UTC) https://api.ithenticate.com/ithenticate_dv?lang=en_us&o=16260348

Synoptics (Synergy) Getting Back to You
Dear Daryl, I have edited 10 pages and Sunday will be just beyond my fourth day being a registered user. I have a new article written on a Word document with the correct codes. Could you please help me get it posted correctly the first time? Sincerely, Synoptics (synergy) Synoptics (talk) 22:09, 2 January 2015 (UTC)
- @Synoptics: Hi, as I talk to many people on the help channel I can't quite remember what your question was? Could you perhaps repeat it? Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 00:51, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

Update Daryl
I resubmitted my article about Modern English Version last night because others said I did not save it. I had computer problems, so I had to get on another computer, and it saved. But I did not submit it directly and I have to wait perhaps a month for a review. If I wait until my fourth day being a registered user, can I submit it directly and not have to wait? --Synoptics (talk) 20:03, 3 January 2015 (UTC)

Hi,
I want to know how can I create wikipedia page for this company? It is well recognized real estate company of Pune, India. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Imansoor (talk • contribs) 10:07, 19 January 2015
- Hello Imansoor, and welcome to Wikipedia! You see, Wikipedia does not allow advertising, and any attempts to advertise on Wikipedia will be quickly deleted. However, if you are able to provide sources from Reliable publications that demonstrate that the company is notable enough for a Wikipedia article (See the General notability guideline and the Notability guideline for Companies) and write in a Neutral tone of writing your article may be able to stay on Wikipedia. I suggest the Articles for creation process where you get slightly more room to edit your article without as high a risk of it getting speedly deleted. Hope this helps!
