Great work

Great work fighting vandalism. Some useful links can be found (in case you've not already seen them) at WP:VAND, including templates for warning vandals, etc. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if I can help with anything. Keep on fighting the good fight! --TeaDrinker 07:45, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Why?

Why do you want to delete Drox script. I think its not that bad.. —This unsigned comment was added by Abc85 (talkcontribs) .

Please discuss this on the appropriate talk page. --Chris 17:49, 23 March 2006 (UTC)

Question

Hi this may be an innapropriateplace to ask a question but I am new to wikipedia. I also happen to be a Meyer's INTP and would love to know where I could get that Userbox for my user page. Thanks --DynamicUzbek 18:32, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

WP:Userbox has a list of them. --Chris 20:34, 27 March 2006 (UTC)

  • I was trying to revert the vandalism made by a anonymous user with IP address 82.198.250.74.See this But I mistakenly deleted your message as well. I am sorry about that.
  • The link to User:Instant's contribution page on my user page is only for my own convenience. Don't worry about it. I have put those links there since I found that my every single edit was being monitered. Whenever I made an edit on a certain article, User:Instant (sometimes irreasonably) reverted it. That's why I put those links there to trace which of my edits are reverted. I will stop putting those links when some users stop monitering my edits. - Alan 09:40, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Not only crazy will destroy regime of Lukashenko

Please join Freedom for Belorussia movement on internet - use forum tut.by to support oposition and struggle for human rights. Thanks and sorry - we improved article about organisation activities only now. We hope this one fits to the (political) history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.182.67.130 (talkcontribs)

I'm not in the habit of affiliating myself with political organizations that I know nothing about. I'm sure your cause is noble but if I joined every human rights organization I came across I would severely over-book my schedule. --Chris (talk) 17:13, 11 April 2006 (UTC)

Whats your opinion about the article - Freedom for Belorussia -destroyment? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.182.77.103 (talkcontribs)

My opinion on the article is as stated on the AfD page. On the movement I have no particular opinion. --Chris (talk) 21:15, 15 April 2006 (UTC)

You can delete the wiki about zach fesnak, it is really too small of a topic for people to care. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Merrickness (talkcontribs)

The article was obviously nonsense. I gave you the benefit of the doubt and asked you to cite a source, and all you came up with was the title of a nonexistant book. It is your job to provide links, not mine. And I'm not an administrator, so I can't delete pages, but apparently one of the other admins did. --Chris (talk) 05:55, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

Tymothy Dalton vandalism

Where did I vandalize the page? IMDB states his year of birth as 1944. Explain to me why that is vandalism? Thank you Abc85 20:06, 18 April 2006 (UTC)

I have replied on your talk page. --Chris (talk) 01:52, 19 April 2006 (UTC)

I have deleted the proposed deletion. The fish was only discovered within the last month and so will not be found on Google (or anywhere else for that matter) Be asssured the description is genuine. There is a photo of it at this website but it is not a suitable link to add to wikipedia. http://www.petfrd.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19311

It might be a good idea to contact the original poster first before proposing deletion.

Please see WP:V. If it's not verifiable, it doesn't belong on Wikipedia. Many "recent discoveries" are hoaxes, and while this case could be different I do not see why it deserves any special treatment given the same lack of sources. --Chris (talk) 18:18, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

As you can see most of the danios wiki pages were written by myself (and I also assisted in the writing of www.danios.info which is referred to by many of the danio wiki pages). There is absolutely no way I would have added it unless I was sure of my source (which I have referred you to - who has also contributed to www.danios.info). I am happy with the replacement notice you have put. The problem is that many new species of fish are constantly being discovered and it is sometimes years before they are formally scientifically described. www.danios.info was written to try to sort out this mess with the danio species (not least because of the constant misdescriptions in shops and even scientific magazines) and I would expect this fish to appear there in due course. As it was only discovered about three weeks ago this gives wikipedia a "first".

Kerripaul 18:36, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

I do not doubt your intentions, but the article still remains unverifiable as of today. --Chris (talk) 18:39, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
Agreed. hence I'm happy with you adding {{unreferenced}} to it. I have also added Regards Kerripaul 18:53, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

what is vandalism

IMO Instandnood's contribution [1] is not WP:Vandalism . Tobias Conradi (Talk) 00:50, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

I was not the one reverting this change, and I had no part in any such discussion. It appears that Alanmak made the revert; contact him please. --Chris (talk) 09:13, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
