Reviewing the dataset.
I requested to help review the dataset for CBNG, but my request has not been acted on. Thanks. W.D.14:30, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
The following is the log entry regarding this warning: UEFA Euro 2012 (video game) was changed by 92.24.101.169 (u) (t) ANN scored at 0.954111 on 2012-04-07T17:51:53+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot NG (talk) 17:51, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
I am clueless about the following. I do not like football, and am clueless as to what happenned. This was not my doing Keith H99 (talk) 21:39, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
Hi, Keith H99. You do not say where you found this message, but it was originally posted by ClueBot NG on User talk:92.24.101.169 on 7 April 2012. If you came across that talk page, could it have maybe shown up before you logged in today? It might be that you are using an IP address today that someone else was using on 7 April. If this is the case, the message was not for you and you can ignore it. I certainly don't see this message intended for you on your own talk page. Please post back here if you need any more information. – Wdchk (talk) 22:52, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
ClueBot NG error and I cannot report it in the correct place
Hi: ClueBot NG reverted a vandal fighter on Coca-Cola formulahere, and there is no revision number in parentheses. Also when I click to report it, I get informed of a MySQL error: "Warning: mysql_connect(): Host 'i-000000b0.pmtpa.wmflabs' is blocked because of many connection errors; unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' in /mnt/public_html/damian/includes/header.php on line 14 Error. Could not connect to database." Yngvadottir (talk) 14:49, 4 July 2012 (UTC)
Note: the 170 or so reversions CluebotNG did from 06:46 to 14:49, 4 July are all missing revision numbers in their edit summaries. The several reverts I looked at seemed normal as to content. -R. S. Shaw (talk) 06:53, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I checked a sample before and after the problem one to make sure I wouldn't have to block ClueBot (!!!) - I suspect it was the removal of the period along with the problem sentence that triggered the false positive. But it needed to be reported, and it's concerning that there are a whole bunch of edits without the number needed for a report.--Yngvadottir (talk) 12:12, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
It looks like the MySQL server on Labs did a whoopsie and prevented the report interface and/or CBNG itself from talking to it. Looks like the issue has been fixed now I'll look into fixing this however AFAIK there won't be any way to get those numbers back (as they are generated via MySQL), maybe Damian will pop a post down with more info. Sorry about that - Rich(MTCD)T|C|E-Mail11:52, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
The ID is generated by the mysql insert, I'm trying to update some of the bot core to bail out on these events so they don't cause issues. I'm also working with labs to improve the services there. Please remember this is running on a beta infrastructure and everyone is a volunteer. Eventually everything will be stable and the public facing interfaces upgraded, however multiple things affect this such as labs, oauth being enabled on wikipedia, time etc. Loosing a small number of reports isn't a huge deal right now as we're still fixing issues with the report interface in regards to pushing updates to the review interface. - Damian Zaremba(talk • contribs)11:59, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I don't blame you at all! I'm just glad to finally see you're aware of it. And that the bot was indeed working normally except for that; we all love ClueBot NG and that would have been an awful first block to have to make . . . --Yngvadottir (talk) 13:12, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Apologies, labs is currently under high load which is causing issues with the connection to mysql for the webserver. I'll enter this once the grid has stabilised. There is new hardware coming online at the moment that should help to get the instances stable until we put a new clustered filesystem in place. - Damian Zaremba(talk • contribs)15:35, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
Tried to go to a page that tells how to help ClueBot work better, and got an error message, but couldn't report the error on that page.
Error: Server Error
The server encountered an error and could not complete your request.
If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention this error message and the query that caused it.
The report interface should be fine, the review interface is broken and seems to break quiet a lot. I don't have access to the GAE admin panel to check the logs for it. Hopefully it will get fixed soonish and the backlog of account requests can be gone though.... 92.22.244.91 (talk) 14:05, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
Not to criticize. This one with a nonsense string of letters seems like one you would have caught. It was manually caught after several hours at 17:29, 3 July 2012, but I have recently seen your quick action on another article and wondered about how this one got past. Thanks for the bot. Ineffective undo of Tobey Maguire vandalism
The history of Tobey Maguire shows that this bot correctly identified vandalism, but the page itself seems to have the same vandalism now, i.e. the bot only announced an undo while leaving the vandalism, which makes it look superficially fixed. Can someone fix both the Tobey Maguire page and whatever is wrong with this bot? PMLawrence (talk) 11:21, 13 July 2012 (UTC)
The canned message users recieve should be reworded.
The language used in the message below should be reworded. It is arrogant, assumes guilt, and doesn't even try to apologize for false positives. It gives a bad image of WP. Here's a more gentle suggestion (troll hugging at its best):
Hello, fellow Wikipedian. An automatic program called ClueBot NG flagged at least one of your recent edits (the one you made to Moai (disambiguation)) as non constructive and reverted it. The ClueBot is right **here be the true positive rate** of the time , but it makes mistakes, and we (the makers of Cluebot NG) apologize if it made one. If you believe that your contribution to Wikipedia was constructive, you can restore it by clicking the undo link on the history page of the article concerned, and deleting this message.
It would help us if you could report this false positive. We will be able to improve the bot's heuristics and reduce the chances of future errors and will make Wikipedia a better place.
Note that you can use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make. If you're new, you could read the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia.
For more help, you can have a look at the help pages of the encyclopedia, and if you can't find what you are looking for there, you can place "{{helpme}}" on your talk page and someone will drop by to help.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please, do something about this. I have already applied for reviewing the database 5 times but I got no response. I used to review the database before but the right suddenly vanished. --v/r Ankit MaityTalkContribs14:19, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
It looks like you bumped into a false positive. Did you know reporting these helps ClueBot to not make the same mistake again? So, why not report a false positive at the Report Interface – it's really easy to do! Thank you. – Wdchk (talk) 20:00, 18 July 2012 (UTC)
This edit suggests there's a problem. When reported as a false positive the ID number generates a diff of the previous edit not the problematic edit. Could the owner investigate please DeCausa (talk) 19:45, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

An automated reply that doesn't understand "When reported as a false positive the ID number generates a diff of the previous edit not the problematic edit." is a bit crap. DeCausa (talk) 21:33, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
"Automated reply" ?! Actually, I am a human being who double-checked the edit, the review interface is acting exactly as it should. It's showing the edit that Cluebot NG saw to be problematic (you can't see edits from Cluebot itself on the review interface - that's not how it works!). Just report it, using the link above, and let the developers take care of it (they're not on this page that often, and they almost never handle reports from this page.) ~MatthewrbowkerTalk to me22:04, 20 July 2012 (UTC);
Literally, the word "Prabhupada" means Lord's Feet or Lotus Feet and it can not be, exclusively, reserved for redirection to the Article A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, The word is 'generic in nature' and used for unrestricted, general meanings. However, if the word is not treated in accordance with accepted rules or standards rather, allowed to be reserved for the redirection to the disputed article, exclusively, then that would be an unjust act, reflecting a dislike derived from prejudice.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/11277 Ballard until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Runaways like this have been pointed out previously here. I removed the CBIII tag from the last archive page hopefully to stop anymore archiving. Brad (talk) 06:26, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
The article reads, "ClueBot NG, as the bot is known, resides on a computer from which it sallies forth into the vast encyclopaedia to detect and clean up vandalism almost as soon as it occurs." - David Nasaw.
Hi! I'm sorry, but you made a mistake here. :) I based my decision to move Diandra Flores to the disambiguated page solely on what I could read in online newspapers and ifpi.fi. -- Puisque (talk) 07:23, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
I submitted for permission to help review the interface dataset but it defaulted to an Email address I don't use for Wiki. I submitted a second one for my Wikiuser account and I would prefer that one be used. Kumioko (talk) 12:14, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Can't report a false positive as the CAPCHAs are illegible
Might just be me, but I've tried about eight times and each time one or other (or accasionally both) of the CAPTCHA words are illegible. The audio version is just complete babble.TonywaltonTalk17:00, 25 July 2012 (UTC)
Even though your toaster overlords somehow managed to brainwash BBC into praising you, I'm sure that one day you're going to assimilate us all. --illythr (talk) 00:58, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
I tried to fix the release dates and chart box format for the "Loco-Motion" (song) page in regards to Kylie Minogue's version. I received a warning as I probably wasn't editing it correctly. However, can you please check to see if it looks okay? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cdl1976 (talk • contribs) 16:07, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
Are you referring to this edit? If so, your good faith addition of {{Copypaste}} may have looked like vandalism because the page content was blanked. According to its documentation, this template is intended to be added to the top of an article, not used to replace the article's text.
ClueBot seems to have screwed up here. I tried to report it. It asked me to log in, from some non-WP site. I did not feel comfortable doing that. It asked me to enter a series of impossible-to-decipher captchas--I gave up after ten or twelve. Now I mistrust ClueBot. Any improvement appreciated. Thanks. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 00:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
it.wiki?
Now it is only a little wish, but.... Is it possible to make this bot (or its code) work on it.wiki? If yes, what has to be done?--Nickanc (talk) 10:05, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
