Arrogance?

[edit]

Is it arrogance to suggest that something looked considerably like vandalism (especially from an IP address)? No, didn't think so. Fine, if you say it happens, then it does. But read WP:CIVIL. Now. --ThejadefalconSing your songThe bird's seeds 20:53, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

January 2010

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Mass Effect 2 has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. Connormah (talk) 03:33, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Let's take it to the article's talk page, Chuglur. Swarm(Talk) 03:51, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I warned you to prevent you from violating the three revert rule, which one more "undo" would have done. If TheJadeFalcon was in danger of violating 3rr, I would have absolutely warned them. Swarm(Talk)

Speedy deletion notice

[edit]

I observed that you alerted me to a speedy deletion tag for Textron Systems, after apparently also doing so for AAI Corporation before reverting yourself. I appreciate the thought, but I'm not sure why you would have alerted me in either case. Perhaps you meant to alert someone else? ENeville (talk) 14:17, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the intent behind deleting the notification on my Talk page, but I thought it best to replace the text. Amongst other issues, its presence doesn't disturb me, I think discussion on Talk pages should generally be retained, and I would not want to normalize specifically deletion on an editor's Talk page by a different editor. Again, I appreciate the thought, but I think thoroughness of the record is probably more important. :) ENeville (talk) 00:25, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
