[edit]Per "The USPSTF concludes that the current evidence is insufficient to assess the balance of the benefits and harms of daily supplementation with >400 IU of vitamin D3 and 1,000 mg of calcium for the primary prevention of fractures in noninstitutionalized postmenopausal women." From this it appears they are saying there is insufficient evidence to recommend supplementation with large amount of Vit D in postmenopausal women? And than recommends against the use of small amounts "The USPSTF recommends against daily supplementation with ≤400 IU of vitamin D3 and 1,000 mg of calcium carbonate for the primary prevention of fractures in noninstitutionalized postmenopausal women." How do you propose the wording be changed?Doc James (talk · contribs · email) 05:12, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
