Cher awards page protection
[edit]Hey there Cher fan! Noticed you do great work on Cher's general page and wanted to ask how can we get her awards page protected so vandals will not edit it. I inserted some awards and made tables for the majority of bigger awards, still work in progress, but it looks much better now. let me know and thanks!--Uncleangelo (talk) 17:43, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, Uncleangelo! Sorry for the delay in my reply, I've been really busy these days. First of all, you've done some great work on the List of awards and nominations received by Cher article. Congratulations! It has potential to be a featured article if you keep up the pace. As for vandals, unfortunately this is a common problem in all articles about celebrities. As far as I know, only articles with very serious vandalism issues are protected. The best solution here is to keep an eye on the article everyday, as I do with the Cher article. As of now, I'm putting the Cher awards article on my watchlist to ensure it will not be vandalized, right? :-) Best regards, Lordelliott (talk) 13:16, 19 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Lordelliot, thanks for the reply and nice feedback on the Cher awards page! I did my best to update it and to make it on par with the awards pages of other superstars. To get it featured would be an extra feat, but for now I just hope it suits Cher's status properly, I only need to insert several more references. As for page protection, yeah I found that the page should really be 'in trouble' in order to get protected, so for now it's not needed. Anyway, let me know if you have any further suggestions and keep up the great work! thank you! --Uncleangelo (talk) 22:09, 24 June 2016 (UTC)

The article Cher you nominated as a good article has been placed on hold . The article is close to meeting the good article criteria, but there are some minor changes or clarifications needing to be addressed. If these are fixed within 7 days, the article will pass; otherwise it may fail. See Talk:Cher for things which need to be addressed. Survey Invite
[edit]I'm working on a study of political motivations and how they affect editing. I'd like to ask you to take a survey. The survey should take no more than 1-2 minutes. Your survey responses will be kept private. Our project is documented at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Research:Wikipedia_%2B_Politics.
I am asking you to participate in this study because you are a frequent editor of pages on Wikipedia that are of political interest. We would like to learn about your experiences in dealing with editors of different political orientations.
Sincere thanks for your help! Porteclefs (talk) 13:29, 7 April 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cher, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cabin in the Sky. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Cher Vegas pay
[edit]How can you seriously believe Cher was paid $180 million for a show that made $97 million? It was always reported as $60 million and then a couple of years ago one news article mistakenly said $60 million a year and recent articles started saying the same. The link I put was more realistic so can you stop reverting back to fake figures. Thank you! StephenN17 (talk) 18:17, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
