Style convention

[edit]

I see that you're new, so I thought I'd pass along a point from wikipedia'a manual of style. Section headers are not supposed to be links to other articles. I moved your link to colin mcrae: dirt from the header of your new section in Lucozade, to the body of that section. i kan reed (talk) 19:31, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ok, sorry about that. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 19:40, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No need to be sorry, I was just trying to help you with future edits. It wasn't a bad edit, and that problem was easy to fix. i kan reed (talk) 19:45, 25 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Chatterbox, I'm afraid your edit on the Costcutter page are incorrect. The buyers own several stores (Spar) and as far as details have been released, are going to brand that unit as a Costcutter, so I see where the confusion has come from. Dontforgetthisone (talk) 21:52, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Right I see, sorry about that, I just heard the new that Costcutter had taken over and assumed that was what happened as that was how people were saying it. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 23:13, 8 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

AquaTramp

[edit]

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

The article AquaTramp has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article, which appeared to be about a real person, individual animal, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the notability of the subject may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. There's no indication in this article that the band is notable per WP:MUSIC. The citation to a blog where the band is advertising for new members doesn't help. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:00, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I did state that I was working on the article and I am still doing research into it. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 21:01, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Would you have a copy to send to User:Chatterbox2000/AquaTramp ? Please tell me you do. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 21:04, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Done, now at User:Chatterbox2000/AquaTramp. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:12, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much Chatterbox2000 (talk) 21:12, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"not unlike" is fancy?!?! oh well. I know anything fun gets chipped away on wikipedia.[1]--Milowenthasspoken 21:04, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Milowent, I'm a Mahone fan as well (thats if you are) but It was just in case someone quickly glanced at it and read it wrong. Sorry If I annoyed you at that. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 21:08, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No, not really. I can see what you are saying. I was being a bit silly when, in an article on Mahone, I used the phrasing "not unlike previous teen heartthrobs". I knew the article would be challenged at AfD at some point, but Mahone is no different than male heartthrobs of long ago, and that makes him (in part) notable.--Milowenthasspoken 21:13, 23 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ban/exclusion in F1

[edit]

Not the same thing. Don't put "EX" in the tables, especially when there is a note telling editors not to do it. Thanks, Bretonbanquet (talk) 20:16, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well then I suggest you look back over all those F1 pages and fix the EX's that apparently now are BAN's, and you should also add that to the key, you know so people understand otherwise, theres no point and you making it look bad. Chatterbox2000 (talk) 20:19, 2 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
