Hi. Edited the draft by putting on some sources and references. Thank you. User:Jcsingko (talk)

Jcsingko Greetings. At the present stage the draft article does not meet the notability requirement where by the source provided are not directly talk about the subject (album) in dept and in length. What we need are independent, reliable sources for verification and also please note that Wikipedia can NOT be the source - see WP:CIRCULAR. Pls see the album notability requirement here WP:NALBUM and suitable album sources -Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums/Sources. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:22, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

Inquiry on new article Draft:White Rock Whalers

Hi Cassiopeia,

New contributor to wikipedia. I'm attempting to add an article for a junior hockey team, thought it has been declined twice although a reference (a new article) was added.

Are you able to provide some insight into why as I can't seem to figure it out.

Thank you.

24.80.202.10 (talk) 01:13, 13 March 2019 (UTC)

24.80.202.10 Good day. Your page Draft:White Rock Whalers was because you have only one independent, reliable source. We need significant coverage (at least 3 independent, reliable sources), sources such as from major newspapers, journals or books would suffice. Once you have add them in (inline citation pls), you could resubmit the draft article for review. Pop back if you need me to review it. Btw, it would be good if you would register as there are features /benefits for a registered user in Wikipedia. Let me know if any thing else I could help and happy editing. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:16, 13 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi Cassiopeia, Thank you for your reply. I have taken your advice and registered with Wikipedia as well as resubmitted the article with 2 more independent sources. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 19slb04 (talkcontribs) 00:42, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi 19slb04 Thank you for providing the additional sources. Reviewed - see White Rock Whalers. I have sent a welcome message, kindly check it out as there are many useful links and info. Pop back here if you need any help. Happy editing and thank you for your contribution. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:13, 15 March 2019 (UTC)

I have deleted this as requested, but I'm not entirely sure what you plan to do next? Were you intending to pass Draft:Diana (musical) as ready for mainspace? While I'm here, incidentally, why not file a request for adminship (or get someone like me to file one for you), then you can just do these moves yourself. :-) Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 14:13, 14 March 2019 (UTC)

Ritchie333 Greetings to you and thank you for helping out. The Draft:Diana (musical) has no sources at the present stage to support and verify the contain claimed, as such it will remain in the draft space.
I am grateful for your encouragement and also appreciate you would file the RfA for me. I have been a prolific editor and have contributed in different areas in Wikipedia; however, I think to some of the voters in RfA, my time in Wikipedia would deem not long enough for the request. I would take your support as the motivation to gain more experience for future opportunity in RfA. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:26, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
Okay, I've had a quick look and I think the main problem you'll have is that you've tagged too many things for speedy deletion that have been declined, such as Draft:Legitimate Businessman Entertainment, List of Force of Will sets, Hypovolemic shock, EMedicine, Baroreflex, Vasodilatory shock and Secondary cold agglutinin syndrome. In particular, CSD G12 only applies if every revision of the article is a copyright violation; otherwise you can simply revert back to an earlier version. Since all these declined speedies have come up in the past few weeks, I don't think an RfA is appropriate at this time. However, I don't really see a problem elsewhere, and provided we can see about 6-9 months of good, responsible CSD tagging, I think we might be in a position to revisit this. Ritchie333 (talk) (cont) 16:36, 15 March 2019 (UTC)
Ritchie333 Hi, most of the G12 CSDs were tagged, in the same batch on the same day of articles created from the same editor, as I did not notice that the sources are from PDs - careless work of mine. Thank you for the advice and if there is anything else I should work on, please let me know as your advice is greatly welcome. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:16, 16 March 2019 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.17

Hello Cassiopeia,

News
Discussions of interest
  • Two elements of CSD G6 have been split into their own criteria: R4 for redirects in the "File:" namespace with the same name as a file or redirect at Wikimedia Commons (Discussion), and G14 for disambiguation pages which disambiguate zero pages, or have "(disambiguation)" in the title but disambiguate a single page (Discussion).
  • {{db-blankdraft}} was merged into G13 (Discussion)
  • A discussion recently closed with no consensus on whether to create a subject-specific notability guideline for theatrical plays.
  • There is an ongoing discussion on a proposal to create subject-specific notability guidelines for chemicals and organism taxa.
Reminders
  • NPR is not a binary keep / delete process. In many cases a redirect may be appropriate. The deletion policy and its associated guideline clearly emphasise that not all unsuitable articles must be deleted. Redirects are not contentious. See a classic example of the templates to use. More templates are listed at the R template index. Reviewers who are not aware, do please take this into consideration before PROD, CSD, and especially AfD because not even all admins are aware of such policies, and many NAC do not have a full knowledge of them.
NPP Tools Report
  • Superlinks – allows you to check an article's history, logs, talk page, NPP flowchart (on unpatrolled pages) and more without navigating away from the article itself.
  • copyvio-check – automatically checks the copyvio percentage of new pages in the background and displays this info with a link to the report in the 'info' panel of the Page curation toolbar.
  • The NPP flowchart now has clickable hyperlinks.

I added some references to this page. However, I did not mean to create a full page - all I meant was to create a stub so that it can be linked from other pages that I work on. There are many other stubs on living people. Now that I have added references, can it be returned to the main space? --Erel Segal (talk) 15:24, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

Erel Segal Greetings. An article would start with a stub, but one of the sources you provided is from Wikipedia and Wikipedia can NOT be the sources - see WP:CIRCULAR. The second source links to no where - see [4]. The last one just indicates Sheshinksi is the author of the article. Please note the subject (Sheshiksi) needs to meet WP:NPROF notability requirements and the contain provided need to support by independent reliable sources for verification. Kindly provide sources accordingly and then submit the draft article for review (click the submit button). Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk)

FR30799386's User Scripts

Dear all. Recently, FR30799386 (talk) was blocked for sock puppetry. Among their projects were a number of user scripts that they left behind. I (DannyS712) have copied the scripts, and have taken over maintaining them. You currently import one or more of FR30799386's scripts, and I thought that you might want to import a maintained version. Links to each script are provided below.

If you have any questions, please reach out and talk to me. --DannyS712 (talk) 03:57, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

DannyS712 Good day. I checked the list and could not figure out which FR30799386's scrpts I have downloaded. Could you kindly advise me which of your maintenance script I should download. Thanks in advance. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:46, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: You currently have the line mw.loader.load('//en.wiki.x.io/w/index.php?title=User%3AFR30799386%2Fcopyvio-check.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript'); // [[User:FR30799386/copyvio-check.js] - my version of this is at User:DannyS712/copyvio-check.js --DannyS712 (talk) 05:49, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
DannyS712 Thanks for the quick reply. Do I need to remove FR30799386's script above as state by you before install yours? or I just keep the existing FR30799386's script and install yours in my js? Pls advise. Thanks you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:55, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
@CASSIOPEIA: I would suggest removing it, since keeping it would likely result in duplicated functioning, and who knows what other issues, but at this point the only difference is that mine includes an inline html comment referencing FR's --DannyS712 (talk) 06:00, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
DannyS712 Thank you for the advice and done installing yours. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 06:09, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

1984–85 Rothmans Four-Nations Cup (Sharjah cricket)

I note you have moved the page on 1984–85 Four-Nations Cup into a draft, citing a lack of reliable, independent sources.

The original article has links to four sources: Cricket Archive, CricInfo, a book by Bill Frindall and the relevant Wisden Cricketers' Almanack (1986).

I had hoped that these would be sufficient sources. I would greatly appreciate your guidance as to what other sources I should add, and furthermore what process I should follow, to move this page out of draft and back into the main body of Wikipedia. Marplesmustgo (talk) 23:05, 19 March 2019 (UTC)

Marplesmustgo Good day. The draft page Draft:1984–85 Four-Nations Cup have one inline citation which the link leads back to the article itself for such we could not verify the contain claimed as per source. The second source does not mention anything about 1984–85 Four-Nations Cup. The third source is a routine report and does not provide the inline citation in the body text. Source #4 is good but pls provide inline citation in body text. We need at least significant coverage (at least 3) independent, reliable sources which the sources talk about the subject in length and in depth and not only merely passing mentioned. Source from official site, home page, press releases, interviews, sources associate with the subject, user generated sites and etc can NOT be used to demonstrate/contribute to the notability requirements. Sources from major newspapers are suitable and sources can be in any languages. Please read [[WP:Your First Article|this] for further details on the requirements needed. Once you have provide the necessary requirements above in the draft page, click submit for review. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:58, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
There appears to be a real problem here in that you have misinterpreted the four sources provided.
1) The “one inline citation which the link leads back to the article itself” is the link at the top of the page which goes to the reference list; this is a link to a book written by Bill Frindall.
2) The second source appears to be to http://cricketarchive.com/subscribe which you claim makes no mention of this tournament, but the link is in fact to https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Events/2/Rothmans_Four-Nations_Cup_1984-85.html which does.
3) The third source (http://www.espncricinfo.com/c/engine/series/60851.html) you claim is a “routine report” but a routine report is still a relevant source.
4) You call this source, source #4 (http://www.espncricinfo.com/wisdenalmanack/content/story/150564.html) good.
This is still four relevant sources. Marplesmustgo (talk) 23:53, 20 March 2019 (UTC)
Marplesmustgo, See below
  1. Pls rework on the link on ref one instead of link back to the article itself. Do note the section of the book ( as well as all other sources) need to talk "directly' about the subject in depth and in length to qualify as a source and not merely passing mentioned.
  2. Source need subcription - for such can verify content claimed as per source
  3. Routine report can use to contribute to the notability of the subject, just merely demonstrate they existed
  4. this is good.
You need at least 2 more independent, reliable sources and pls re-read the type of sources and what guidelines as I have mentioned on my previous message above. click on the blue highlighted text for further detail info. thank you and let me know what else I could help. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 05:17, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
In response to your arrogant comment on my talkpage let's have a go at this:

(1) You claim to have knowledge of cricket but do not seem to understand a book by Bill Frindall, the Bearded Wonder, is clearly an independent and reliable source. You seem to reject this source because the link I provide in this article is "a link back to the article itself". It is not a link back to the article except insofar as it is a link to the bibliography. The Frindall book is clearly a link to an independent source - indeed the Frindall book on ODIs is *the* standard source on ODIs before 1997. (2) The link is to CricketArchive which you appear to need a subscription to. This does not make the source an illegitimate source. You can avoid the paywall by using archive.org Even if you do not avoid the paywall a source is a source. (3) Cricinfo is not a "routine report", it is a plain independent source for this. (4) The source given is a literal lifting of the relevant Wisden. on the subject.

All four of these are plain independent & separate sources and nothing more is needed - as proved by those administrators who have taken the article back out of draft into Wikipedia. In future I do not want you trying to veto articles I create on ODIs just because you do not have access to the standard sources on the subject. Any more of this and I will report you as a disruptive user.Marplesmustgo (talk) 23:44, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Marplesmustgo, Subject of the article first need to be notable and the content needs to support by significant coverage of independent, reliable where by the sources talk about the subject in length and in dept. Database sources of games/matches are routine reports. Your book source is linked back to the article itself. We understand this is 80's event and online sources are a little difficult to come by. No one own any articles in Wikipedia including the creators of the article and anyone can make a nomination. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 00:01, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

Hello! References added to these articles.--Oleg Bor (talk) 08:06, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi Oleg Bo, Greetings. I have reviewed Great Underwater Wall and the article is published. Thank you for adding the sources; however, it the inline citation were not added correctly and I have fixed them. Pls have a look (view in edit source mode) and see how inline citations were set (pls revisit {{WP:REFB)} again for further instructions. Also, I have wiki link (see MOS:LINKS for more info and instructions. Please note the unsourced section "Peaceful uses and Military tasks" were removed as "all content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing an inline citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution" - pls see WP:PROVEIT. You are welcome to add them back provided they are supported by independent, reliable source. I have also added "Referenes" section with reflist tag. Pls do not put references in External link section.
I have not reviewed Helicopter Brigade of Russian Airborne Troops as the article need to resource (inline citation correctly) and provide wiki links. Also pls provide source for unsourced sub sections. Once you have done, pls pop back here and let me know and I will review the article for you. If you have any question or any help you might need, pls let me know. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:12, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Video tutorial "Referencing with VisualEditor" – newsletter issue 2 short version

Video tutorial "Referencing with VisualEditor" – newsletter issue 2

Hi! The full version of this newsletter issue has a lot of information. I am sending a short version to talk pages.

The most important information to know is that draft 2 is finished, that the single long script has been divided into many smaller scripts, and that portions of the script have been prioritized for production.

Due to budget constraints, not all scripts can be produced within the scope of the current pilot grant, but the other scripts will remain available for potential future production. (This project feels somewhat like doing a vehicle repair when the mechanic starts to work on the engine, and once the mechanic gets under the engine and starts to work, they discover that accomplishing their objective requires twice as much time as they first had estimated.) However, nothing is lost, so do not fear. Overall, my assessment (me being User:Pine) is that this project is producing a lot of good output and is generally a valuable pilot project.

For more information, including my requests for your feedback, please see the full version of the newsletter.

Thanks very much. --Pine(✉) 23:02, 22 March 2019 (UTC)

Angellore new album news source

Dear Cassiopea, your work on wiki articles credibility checking is really important and much appreciated. It's just the very first time I've ever had any source credibility issues with posting a tiny update about a doom metal band known by very few people, especially considering that I mentioned the source (the band's Facebook page) in the comment to the article update. Here you go, the link to the source https://www.facebook.com/AngelloreDoom/posts/2034522126631986?__xts__%5B0%5D=68.ARDNxetIRjDUHQSsrAtHcjiSS4eGRv0PhWuu_mE36CK-A9A2cgMczBqVqHKZPKGLuOApfAXKsfoFjeFRVZtKeCmzWRyXdxw1sU-Po_bwC6xKiZTjr4-1GY9CY5g0NwcLygnExELgYjBDe5Fmm5jGx7VHS3DQ99EkrEoEzmDqGx4KFCLJehdMKLpdeHh0jC1F2ThDJsuEJs24x9OnTUhzfU5LSxS51tIqm87SVZLK3Q4feK9avyabYnRQfrn611sRsBoXssTaFaMfNmbYdQetq5GuzpWw5BOLu8k6nbf5OtNlBA5lgCVMqqFd0q70-DnU-poMn5rGk_mlTmubogbyZA&__tn__=-R

Could you please recover that update I made? Your articles update credibility checking effort is vital for Wiki, but this particular case is just so tiny and insignificant so it's not really worth your time :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.216.43.5 (talk) 15:39, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

@Jebcubed and 62.216.43.5: Including Jebcubed here. Greeting IP editor. Thank you for writing to me of the abovementioned. Although FB would be used for subject's own self info; however, this edit would come off as "promotional" as no album name, not ETA date of release and little is know about the album". You might want to wait for a few more months when when sources are available before include this info. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 04:42, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

Re: Huawei P30

Hi,

I can see how my edit was abrasive, but I hope you know I meant no ill will. Where it is now, other editors have agreed with me. Let me know if there are any problems or concerns. --VictorZzzzz (talk) 19:02, 27 March 2019 (UTC)

VictorZzzzz Hi Thank you for the message above. The edit was because you removed the source and it is not about the reword/change the info and edit summary didnt address why the source was removed. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 09:51, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

My edits to Boiled in Lead

I’m not sure how to provide a proper citation. I am a musician in the current line up of Boiled in Lead and my name is misspelled. I corrected it by adding another “n” and also added more content. Can you allow for that change? MisterBiss (talk) 14:46, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

MisterBiss Hi Greetings. Since you are one of the line up for the band, it was not be advisable to edit the effected page as you have a conflict of interest here. What you could do is to request other editor to edit for you in the Talk:Boiled in Lead (Boiled in Lead talk page). You need to provide URLs (sources) which indicate your name with "double n" and sources which could support the info you want to add in. For inline citation, pls see referencing for info and instructions. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 14:56, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for the quick feedback. Are you able to send me the list of other edits I provided regarding the other musicians I play(ed) with so I don’t have to recreate it and who I should connect with to add that info? This is all new to me and I’m not so knowledgeable about this process. MisterBiss (talk) 15:03, 28 March 2019 (UTC)
MisterBiss Hi, I am not sure I understand what you meant by "Are you able to send me the list of other edits I provided regarding the other musicians I play(ed) with so I don’t have to recreate it and who I should connect with to add that info? As for "request edit" just go to Talk:Boiled in Lead and start a new message. Any editors who are interested in the article and willing to help will do the edit for you (make sure you provide sources). CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:10, 28 March 2019 (UTC)

Just letting you know, a set index article does not require sources, as it is intended to list articles under the same name and same type (in this case, roads numbered similarly) as per WP:SIA. However, I am not opposed to a talk page discussion at WT:SIA if there's some level of disagreement. Jalen D. Folf (talk) 02:28, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

JalenFolf Hi good day and thank you for the above info. I have a look at WT:SIA and it states "Fundamentally, a set index article is a type of list article. The criteria for creating, adding to, or deleting a set index article should be the same as for a stand-alone list. The style of a set index article should follow the style guidelines at Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists." As per Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists, it states "Being articles, stand-alone lists are subject to Wikipedia's Wikipedia:Core content policies, such as verifiability, no original research, neutral point of view, and what Wikipedia is not, as well as the notability guidelines." Under WP:V it states "In Wikipedia, verifiability means that other people using the encyclopedia can check that the information comes from a reliable source." In other words, my understanding is that SIAs/Stand alone lists are subject to the same requirements as of any rticles. However, the different is group sources are acceptable in Stand alone list and I would interpret group sources are acceptable in SIA as well. Let me know if anything I have missed interpret incorrectly or anything I have missed which stated in other WP pages. Thank you. cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 02:55, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Updating the Israel Festival entry

Dear Cassiopea,

I have indeed just updated the Israel Festival site. My name is Eyal Sher and I am the director of the Festival. I have included the previous information that Wikipedia had about the Festival, added some missing information to it, and expanded it as it was a very old and limited entry. Please refer to the Festival's website to confirm my identity and reliability. Can you please repost what you have removed? Thank you for your consideration.

Eyal Sher — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.109.241.96 (talk) 15:06, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

84.109.241.96 hi good day and thank you for the message above. Your edit was reverted as you added content with providing source. Since you are the director of the festival this means you have a conflict of interest here. For such you should not edit the effected page but you would WP:Request edit on the article talk page. Pls provide sources when you request for edit. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:12, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Dear Cassiopea,
I understand your view that as the Festival Director I would be considered in possible conflict of interest but this is not a business or a personal glorification case, rather a service to the community. Kindly review the essence of the text to consider its objective, informative and factual validity. What better more reliable source than the person in charge of this outfit?
Please note that whatever version you reverted to seems to be worse than the one I corrected and upgarded.

84.109.241.96 Hi, Understand that you would want to add the information as a serve to the community and your time spent and effort is a good will. However, please note Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and as per Wikipedias guidlines information added/changed need to support by WP:SOURCE for verification - pls see WP:PROVEIT. If you could provide independent, reliable sources such as from newspaper, then the info could be added and I will help you to do so, if you like. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 15:33, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Hello again,

I fully appreciate that factual validation process set forth by Wikipedia. Alas, I am one of these occasional, rather single entry contributors, so my familiarity with the procedure is null. I appreciate your offer to assist. If I can refer you once again to the festival site and in it to the dozens of articles, reviews and of course actual artistic lineup of the most recent festival as well as several others, I think that's the kind of source information that you are seeking.

Thank you again, Eyal — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.109.241.96 (talk) 16:27, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Hi Cassiopeia,

Thank you for your message - I made an edit to the Gary Cohn page but you reverted it for a lack of a source - which part of the change are you referring to? All the changes were based on the underlying Bloomberg article so please let me know the specific area you're concerned with - thank you!

For help, the article can be found here: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2011-07-24/succeeding-blankfein-at-goldman-may-prove-hurdle-too-high-for-no-2-cohn

65.112.10.83 Good day. I have seen you readded back the info and stated the source. I reverted your edit as you change the info and did not state the info claimed as per existing sources. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 10:21, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi Cassiopeia You quarantined the page 2019 Northern Pride RLFC season into the DRAFT workspace on 2 February 2019. I added references to the page the same day, but eight weeks have gone by and the page has not been reviewed. As the page relates to an ongoing sports competition with regular weekly updates, I wondered if you could see your way to reviewing the page and removing the DRAFT status? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rocketfrog

Rocketfrog Hi Good day. Currently we have about 2.5K of draft articles to review and the backlog is about 8-9 weeks. As of your draft, I guess you copied and pasted the URLs when you cited your source and without indicated some parameters, as the links (sources) lead to nowhere. Thus, we ,the reviewers, could not verify the the content claimed. Pls use either (1) Template:Cite web - "Most commonly used parameters in horizontal format" or (2) use Using VisualEditor when cite your sources. Secondly, pls remove the details of each match but provide brief description of the match info as per HERE - pls provide inline citation of each match by adding additional column and name the column "Ref". Also pls remove all the sponsor, as there are no sources to backup the claimed and they look promotional article rather than an encyclopedic article. Once you have done all the above, pls resubmit the draft again. Let me know if anything else I could help. Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). Cheers. Bradford University edit

Hello Cassiopea, Thank you for your note regarding not adding a source to the edit I made about Bradford University. Does every element of the article need a source? I was one of the first people to live in these halls so I know it's true! But I appreciate I have to prove it (and not just a picture of me and my mum on my first day in the new building right?!) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Googietheegg (talkcontribs) 13:17, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Googietheegg Hi Good day. Understand your reason/explanation; however, content added/changed need to support by source for verification - pls see WP:PROVEIT.Btw, pls Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 13:27, 1 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi Cassiopeia I've updated the Alessandro Bausani article taking into account your feedback (although the "orange" highlighting wasn't showing at my end. I've added a new section heading "influence" that provides evidence of the notability of his work. Let me know if further changes needed. I just wanted to get up an english language version of the Alessandro Bausani entry which already appears in Italian wikipedia. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Udhrart1 (talkcontribs) 01:24, 31 March 2019 (UTC)

Udhrart1 Good day. Reviewed and published. See Alessandro Bausani. Pls remove the links (orange highlighter texts) if the disam do not show the exact links. Btw pls Please remember to sign your posts on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~). Thank you for your contribution and let me know if anything I could help further. Cheers. Hi Udhrart1, You are welcome and thank you for your contribution. You have successful sign-off on your last message :) and by the way do add additional " : " (colon) from the previous message thread for "one space indentation to the right" (this is the protocol Wikipedia communication to separate each message thread within the same message. I have added for you on your previous message, you would view it via "source editing mode" located on drop down list of the top right, the "pencil icon". Cheers and pop back here if anything I would help. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 08:51, 3 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi, you have been moving several football pages to the draft space. I would appreciate if you could do the same for 2019–20 Eredivisie. Personally I think it would be even better to delete all those pages. --Sb008 (talk) 10:48, 5 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi Sb008 Good day. thank your message above and have taken an interest of 2019–20 Eredivisie page. Eredivisie is one of the fully professional league under the Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Fully professional leagues list and there are pages of each of the league season were created since the establishment of the league in 1956 see -Eredivisie seasons 1956-2019. The 2019–20 Eredivisie is under and/or not well-sourced at the moment, however, looking at the history (I have a quick look of the last 10 Eredivisie season pages), they are sourced and I believe 2019-20 page will follow soon the same trend. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:22, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I understand little of your reply. If you really had a good look at the recent history, you had seen I'm one of the major contributors to the Eredivisie pages in recent years. Actually, I'm the one who corrects all the mistakes of others (in general on Sundays). So I really don't understand why you start explaining me about it being a professional league and it's history. The page as is, is a disgrace. It's full with mistakes and information which is not certain at all. Some examples:
  • The season will not start on August 9, but on August 2.
  • The KNVB publishes each season a new document with season rules. So the reference to the 18/19 season document is invalid.
  • There're are so far 2 teams listed. Ajax and PSV. For PSV it's fair to assume the coach and captain of the team will remain unchanged. On the other hand, for Ajax the odds indicate it to be far from certain.
Of course, appropriate references will occur in time. But till that time the page shouldn't be an exercise page for people who otherwise don't contribute at all to Eredivisie pages. Almost 30 edits so far and still no valid/reliable info on the page. --Sb008 (talk) 20:35, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi Sb008 Greeting. Good to know you are an active contributor on Eredivisie pages. In Wikipedia, anyone can edit as long as their edits as long as their adhere to Wikipedia's guidelines. If the unsourced content is no true, you/any editor could remove the content from the page, and if the same editor keeps on adding the same faulty info into the page, the editor could be warned. I usually would move the unsourced page or article with only official website page to draft space that would give the creator to provide secondary sources to support the content claimed in the draft and resubmit for review. Since2019–20 Eredivisie article had been reviewed by admin @Ymblanter: prior your message to me above, and I would let Ymblanter to determine the move of the article to draft space. If you want to nominate the WP:article for deletion, then pls do a WP:BEFORE prior the nomination. thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 11:33, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
To be honest, the article has a zero chance to be deleted, and if it gets moved to draft another one will be created at the same place in no time, and then we have issues with copyright. I would suggest if there are obvious flaws just to comment them out. For this topic, even a placeholder is better than a redlink or a redirect.--Ymblanter (talk) 12:32, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
@Sb008 and Ymblanter:Ymblanter, thanks for the quick reply. Hi Sb008, see above Ymblanter's comment above. Cheers. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:39, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

@Ymblanter: This is one of the worst arguments I've ever heard. What you're basically saying is; "We don't remove crap because if we do it's most likely replaced by new crap in no time". The implication is that we no longer can trust any article on Wikipedia, since we don't know if it's there because of the "crap by crap replacement" criteria or whether it contains factual data. If we have to comment out what is incorrect or not certain, there will be little left. --Sb008 (talk) 13:28, 6 April 2019 (UTC)

That's right, we can not trust every single word on what is written on Wikipedia. I never do, I always check facts. I have seen however that you have nominated the article for deletion. Good luck with that, may be the result would be surprising for you. Or may be for me.--Ymblanter (talk) 13:35, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
@Ymblanter: I wonder why you bother to check for facts when you consider it perfectly fine to keep nonfactual information only because it will be replaced by new nonfactual info when removed. We agree that not all data can be trusted, but we differ about what to do about non factual data. You approve of it where I don't. --Sb008 (talk) 17:58, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
I do not think this is what I said. It is not ok to keep wrong info. But you refused to remove, update, or comment it out, and instead you have chosen to nominate the article for deletion, and this wrong info is going to stay there for at least a week - unless of course somebody would care to remove, update, or comment it out.--Ymblanter (talk) 18:22, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
