Account-WP: SOCK

[edit]

Ty, thank you for your notification and advisory on using one account. I assure you that I am using one account. I do have ties to the user michaelangeloh and he has inadvertantly used my account once since we were using the same computer. The entry was tied back to his attempts to take out some "self-congratulatory" comments on the Robert Mihaly article. I did not remove those myself, he did. We realized there was an error and are being careful to prevent this from happening again. Thank you for understanding and appreciating my honest effort. Also

I would like to thank you for providing some balance to discussion on the Robert Mihaly page. I agree it's a borderline case. But I am strongly beholden to the rules and the rules are not that exclusive. So methinks a strong case can be made to give him a shot at barely making it. Sniding about other editors

[edit]

Please do not go to other editors talk pages and make comments like these:

"It is my humble suspicion that the nomination of this article for deletion is in part the result of political bias against political viewpoints expressed in Mihaly's art (antiauthoritarian and pro-decentralization), viewpoints in direct opposition to those ideals supported on the Setwohosi's user page (pro-centrailization)".

You are completely wrong in any case. I have no idea what your political views are nor do I care. Setwisohi (talk) 13:58, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sniding

[edit]

Setwisohi, my apologies. I will refrain in the future. I agree the allusion to potential bias is unfounded and adds little to the discussion at hand. Carolinequarrier (talk) 14:20, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Apology accepted. It's forgotten! Setwisohi (talk) 16:06, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I don't know much about the prior history of the article; when I last time deleted the article, it consisted of "David Ayoub is the most amazing person ever. this page should not be deleted" - not exactly helpful for anyone who stumbles upon that article and wishes to expand it, I'm sure everyone agrees. There's prior deletion discussion for this article from August 2007, and most people seem to question the viability of the sources (and hence notability), the article seems a little bit lacking in that department. Of course, it's entirely possible that there's better sources available nowadays - if you think there are sources that would fit with our current sourcing requirements and want to write a new article, feel free to recreate the article. If you want to see the previous contents of the article at the time it was deleted on as a result of that deletion discussion, please let me know. --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 20:24, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Lyle Estill, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
